Malaysia jet one of 3 plane crashes

The Malaysia Airlines passenger jet carrying 295 people that was reportedly shot down in Ukraine Thursday is the third plane to be downed in the country this week, according to Ukrainian officials. Here is a quick breakdown of the three incidents: On Monday, a Ukrainian AN-26 military transport was shot down in the separatist stronghold of Luhansk on the Russian border, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Heletei. Heletei told Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenk the plane was "hit by another, more powerful missile that was probably used from the territory of the Russian Federation," the Ukrinform news agency said, citing the

Amid much uncertainty, one thing is certain:

President F.M. Davis, Jr. (no relation to Sammy!) identifies much more closely with the beliefs and aspirations of the missile-launching, barbarian savages than he identifies with the beliefs and aspirations of the 23 Americans said to be aboard the plane.

That´s right, #5. The Malaysian plane was shot down.

I just wonder how many cyber security experts were on board this plane.

Not good. Only positive thing here is that they know where this Malaysian plane is. Only question now is, was it a Putie screwup or do we have more to now worry about when flying internationally.

I have to ask because I haven´t read how anyone who doesn´t have an axe to grind knows that the plane was shot down. How do they know it wasn´t blown up internally while in flight.

Not trying to suggest I know anything, but that is the second Malaysian flight that has gone down, the other one in the water. It isn´t safe in Zippy world.

There are a lot of people right now who have had their lives destroyed. Not just the passengers and crew.

Accidental shoot down by Russian separatists in Ukraine. Meant to hit a Ukraine military plane. Apparently chatter about it at the time.

It seems certain that flying over the area is not wise. Nothing else is clear.

Can we believe any sources about this conflict. The reader´s usual dilemma about wars; some reports are true, some not.

Thousands, tens of thousands, of small ground-to-air missiles exist. And each year more groups manage to get some.

With the dissolution of the Obama administration’s foreign policy in the Middle East and elsewhere, President Obama is talking as fast as he can. Obama set some kind of a land speed record for double-talk in his interview with Steve Kroft on 60 Minutes last night, highlighted by Obama’s passing the buck for his misunderestimation of ISIS to the Director of National Intelligence et al. That hasn’t gone down too well, in part because it conflicts with what one could learn from following the headlines over the past year or two. Empirical reality belies Obama’s buck-passing. The stage, drapes, and sound system for an 18-minute speech by President Barack Obama cost taxpayers nearly $100,000. “Elite Productions,” the go-to company for prominent Democratic politicians such as Bill and Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi, put on the set for Obama’s speech to troops at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., on Sept. 17. The company provided “stage, drapery, and audio/visual equipment,” according to a contract document made public by the Air Force last week. For President Obama, the color of a man’s skin is far more important than the content of his character. On the night when a police officer was shot in a Missouri town torn by racial strife, the president donned a shiny tuxedo to attend a ritzy black awards dinner, where he said police nationwide are to blame for community mistrust, even claiming that “most Americans” think the country is racist. Remember, when Ferguson exploded in racial rage in August, Mr. Obama chose not to curtail his 15-day vacation, spending day after day on the golf course in the white-skinned, white-wined, millionaire playground
