Schieffer: World May Be
More Dangerous Now
Than During Cold War

Washington Free Beacon, by Staff

Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer said Obama’s comment that “We live in a complex world” “may the understatement of the year”, and claimed the world may be more dangerous now than at the height of the Cold War. Schieffer listed off crises around the world, quoting Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.), who recently said “I have never seen the world in more turmoil than it is today.” “I don’t want to be overly dramatic here tonight, Scott,” Schieffer told CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley, “but I think that we are in a very dangerous time right now. Comments:
My TV remote defaults to CBS when turned on and I found myself watching this guy´s statements last evening. After my initial impression of being creeped out by such a dose of reality from this network, I thought perhaps this might be a signal that they are no longer going to try to put a "happy face" on the rolling disaster which is the 0bama administration.
In any event, Schieffer´s tone was ominous.

Things have yet to reach equilibrium. The world may be in conflict, but it is even close to the level of conflict associated with Obama´s hate America first, liberal ideology.

Much of the remorse liberals are just now beginning to exhibit, whether it be CBS or the cop killing by blood nation, is a reflection of their recognition that Obama is down for the count and with him their befuddled, clouded dream of liberal Nirvana.

What makes the world dangerous is morons like Bob Schieffer running around loose and having their heads talking to us on TV.

Of course it is more dangerous. Back then most of the communists were on the other side of the world, and the ones here were in constant fear of discovery.
Now the communists are not only in the open, they are running the place. Freedom is in dire peril from within and very few people with power are willing to do anything about it. (Look how many are shying away from impeachment.)
We are in very dangerous times indeed.

First evidence, Bob, that the world was becoming more dangerous was the incident involving the black panthers at the Philadelphia polling station - but you were on vacation and didn´t hear about it.

Why Officer Wilson Probably Won’t Go to Jail

As Michael Brown is laid to rest on Monday, questions remain about the police shooting that took the life of the unarmed African-American teenager some two weeks ago. Was Brown savagely and unjustifiably gunned down by white police Officer Darren Wilson, as some contend? Did Wilson—who reportedly sustained some kind of facial injury during an altercation with Brown—act appropriately in the heat of a confrontation in which Brown reportedly reached for the officer’s gun. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. took the unusual step of travelling to Ferguson to coordinate a Justice Department investigation into the shooting, which was already

Point of No Return: Democrats Want

Analysis: Hillary Clinton isn’t simply dipping her toes into the 2016 presidential waters; it looks more like she’s sizing up for a somersault – with a full twist – off a diving board. But if she ends up deciding not to jump in, Democrats want an answer sooner rather than later. In the past few months, Clinton has concluded a big book tour with dozens of news interviews; distanced herself (either in small or substantial ways) from her party’s currently unpopular president; and is now heading next month to Iowa, which traditionally holds the first presidential nominating contest.

Even though it´s currently illegal, many Bay Area restaurants already allow dogs to sit with their owners in outdoor patio areas, but now Gov. Jerry Brown has officially signed the practice into law effective New Year´s Day. This new law would only allow dogs to sit at an outdoor patio area when the dog owner is dining, except for service dogs. Dogs would still not be allowed inside the restaurant and certainly not in the kitchen.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., doesn´t know what else she can do to convince you people she´s not running for president. The hiatus in the rise in global temperatures could last for another 10 years, according to new research. Scientists have struggled to explain the so-called pause that began in 1999, despite ever increasing levels of CO2 in the atmosphere. The latest theory says that a naturally occurring 30-year cycle in the Atlantic Ocean is behind the slowdown. The researchers says this slow-moving current could continue to divert heat into the deep seas for another decade. However, they caution that global temperatures are likely to increase rapidly when the cycle flips to a warmer phase. Continue reading the main story “

Sometimes a round of golf is just a round of golf. And sometimes it reveals the essence of a man. President Obama’s decision to hit the links and yuk it up with pals immediately after speaking about the beheading of James Foley was no ordinary mistake. Nor was it a simple gaffe.
