Obama Just Summed Up The State Of
The World In One Depressing Sentence

Business Insider, by Brett LoGiurato

Original Article

After President Barack Obama breathlessly addressed four different foreign-policy issues during a 10-minute statement, he summed up the state of a crisis-filled world in one sentence. "We live in a complex world and at a challenging time," Obama said. Obama touched on the laundry list of global flashpoints situations during a statement from the White House on Wednesday — the disputed elections in Afghanistan, the negotiations on Iran´s nuclear program, the Israeli-Palestinian crisis, and, finally, the conflict in Ukraine. The most significant recent development in these situations was the announcement of new sanctions on Russia shortly before the president spoke. Obama described those

He certainly did his part to make it challenging.

So goes the USA, so goes the rest of the world.

Of all the trite analyses he could have made, the least he could have done was to tell us something we didn´t already know or something that wasn´t always true.

"We live in a complex world and at a challenging time," Obama said.

No kidding. Our world has always been complex and challenging. If there were not other wars and other economic problems at other times, there was pestilence, famine, plagues, domestic and foreign mayhem, devastating acts of God and other myriad problems that were "complex" and/or "challenging".

That statement is typical of a lazy mind that cannot think of something other than trivia. Does he think this is all just a game of strategic three-dimensional chess with no humanitarian or spiritual aspects to it? Apparently.

But this is amazing:

On the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Obama said the U.S. would continue to look toward all diplomatic options to produce a ceasefire — hopefully within the next day.

How long do you "continue to look toward all diplomatic options"? Is there a stale date on that tired quasi-solution? Any cease fire that comes out of diplomacy will be short-lived, as always. Why he thinks he can change that pattern is beyond comprehension.

He quickly added Israel "has the right to defend itself" from a barrage of rocket attacks.

Everyone knows that he doesn´t believe that. He abhors Israel and pays lip service to her defense only for the $ he gets for Democrats from American Jews. He would be at his happiest (if happiness is even possible for this hostile passive-aggressive neurotic) if Israel were to be decimated by the Muslim Brotherhood or anyone else who will take on the shovel-ready job.

He admits the world is in chaos but the fact that his weakness is causing it is ignored. The only bright spot is he didn´t lay the blame on Bush this time - a slight improvement. The blame should go to Romney. He fought his rivals in the primaries and let this putz win in the general election. He should have the blame for all this and be disqualified from getting the nomination again. Barry should not get the blame because we all know he is such an ideologue it is impossible for him to break with marxist theory which does not work and cannot work. The ongoing disaster is entirely predictable. You put him in office and this is what you will get. The only way to stop him now is for large numbers of his democratic supporters to turn on him - unlikely.

The chaos in the world and America´s inability to deal with it is the fault of 0bama, Jarrett and the rest of the evil creatures in this administation, plus the gimmedats and leftist loons who voted for them.

Just imagine what the US and the rest of the world would be like right now if Romney hadn´t had the election stolen from him.

Does anyone who listens to him believe a word that comes out of his mouth? He has no solutions to these problems because he created them either by design or his failure to lead. It is hard to believe that one man could be responsible for so much damage and this article failed to mention any domestic crises of his making which are many. His focus right now is on his golf game and coming vacation. Things are moving along just as he planned. It is chaos everywhere you look. Not bad for a community organizer!

We didn´t get where we are accidentally. Which reminds me that Ronald Reagan said in his day, ´´I don´t think you can overstate the importance that the rise of Islamic fundamentalism will have to the rest of the world in the century ahead . . .´´ That ´´rise´´ has been orchestrated. The cost for some very bad mistakes on the part of some of our populace is and will be very high.

Harry Reid´s response is ´our borders are secure´. Someone put him in a straight jacket and throw him overboard. He is completely insane.

The world is in chaos and Obama thinks everything is just fine. Just a few problems here and there, but hey, Kerry is on the job. Psst... the Russians are going to establish new bases in Cuba and then build some new missile launching pads.

Obama believes the United States is too powerful, and abuses its power. Obama also believes he is correct in abdicating America´s role on the world stage, and let the rest of the world handle its problems while ignoring the fact that the United States was the world´s chief peace keeper diplomatically and militarily. Obama is also very much a social activist, and sides with the ´oppressed´ of the world.

This has created a void on the world stage, and various world powers are re-aligning to fill this void. Did Obama ever stop and think about the consequences? The United States kept the peace, and now that void is being filled by tyrants making war. Obama´s choices will come back to harm this country as well.

Obama says "Its complicated". It certainly is, and his actions have made things even more complex. Obama believes his actions are justified. He is an evil fool.

`...Just imagine what the US and the rest of the world would be like right now if Romney hadn´t had the election stolen from him...``

We would be a lot worse off with Romney as President...according to the lickspittle media`s litany of non stop doom that would rain down on us in a tidal wave of lies.

But we would be a lot better off when all the lies were disregarded. For one thing, no matter how much the Dems and their media buddies dug in, yelled and screamed and bloviated on a mass scale, the economy would have rebounded as some of the crushing leftard weight afflicting it was ended.

The run on the border, 100% the fault of the Dems, would not be happening and there would also be some improvement there.

America would not be the world`s laughing stock and fewer black hats would be tempted to do a Putin. I`ll bet, for a starter, all those victims in Malaysian Airlines 777 would be alive and well.

`Caliphate`` would be just another muzzy dirty word found in horror stories and dictionaries..

And the first world would have a future that didn`t include Sharia.

While most folks have had their eyes diverted by the Ebola scare, another illness is hitting hundreds of kids especially hard this year. Some have become paralyzed by the illness, and others have died. Calling it the "mystery illness," doctors say it is a strain of viruses called Enterovirus 68, and it has hit kids from California to the East Coast. First diagnosed in the U.S. in 1962, the virus has been rare here. But this year it has exploded for unknown reasons. As The Fix Boss wrote shortly after Obama´s comments on Thursday, they were basically a gift-wrapped campaign ad for Republicans trying to tie red-state Democrats to Obama´s unpopularity. Honestly now: What has been worse, the Bush administration response to Katrina or the Obama administration response to Ebola, especially given how relatively limited the Ebola problem is? It is literally an African problem, or it was. You see? Right there, I just know the politically correct, when you say that, that lights a fire. "Oh, we should leave it in Africa because somehow they deserve it, Mr. Limbaugh? Is that what you´re saying?" No. You see how difficult this has become because of political correctness? The

President Barack Obama told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Thursday night he was accompanied to the convention center by two illegal aliens, whom he called "dreamers." "I want to give a special thanks to two young men who rode over with me from the White House tonight," Obama said. "Luis and Victor are CHCI (Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) interns and fellows. They are also dreamers, living and working in the country they call home, and making it a better place for all of us. "Their stories are inspiring, and along with the other CHCI fellows, they give me great hope for the future.

My last article for American Thinker was too long. And too short. Too long because the gurus tell us articles should be about 600 words. My story about the president talking to the black caucus about white people inflicting constant racial injustice on black people came in at 1500 words. I was just getting warmed up. I thought it strange that at the same time the president was trying to persuade us that black people are relentless victims, black people were committing acts of racial violence in places like Seattle, Miami, Indianapolis, Bronx, Ferguson, Kansas City, Providence, Minneapolis and 18 miles from where

The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. Obama didn’t know anything and he never knew it. At least not until, like smuggling weapons to druglords, bugging journalists, IRSing his political enemies and killing vets, his right hand found out about what his left hand was doing from the morning paper. After skipping 58% of his daily intelligence briefings in Term 1 and 59% of them in Term 2, he went on 60 Minutes and blamed intelligence agencies for being

A recently retired Secret Service agent told MailOnline on Thursday that former director Julia Pierson´s resignation will be welcomed by the agency´s rank-and-file because ´people in the service thought she was a joke from Day One.´ He attributed her swift fall from grace to a cadre of ´p***ed off agents who had had enough´ of feeling disrespected by the service´s first female director. ´Putting her in charge was part of the [Obama] administration´s push to feminize the service after the "hookergate" nightmare,´ the agent said, referring to agents who were fired after patronizing prostitutes during a security-check trip to Colombia

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. He also called potential candidates Ohio Gov. John

Deadly, irrational, and determined, the intruder snuck across a weakened perimeter. Eluding capture, the intruder was detained only after missteps and close calls. The spin began soon after the threat was isolated. Information was selectively leaked. Half-truths and untruths were uttered. Responsibility was avoided; privileges and credentials asserted; authority reasserted. Trust us. Remain calm. Don’t panic. This is the template of recent events. A mental case jumps the White House fence. He makes it to the East Room before he’s tackled by an off-duty Secret Service agent. Initial statements turn out to be misleading or false. A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. WASHINGTON — About a month from the 2014 midterm elections House Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was already predicting a sweep for her party in the 2016 election. Referring to Republicans, Pelosi said, "Their days are numbered. I know that in two years there will be a Democratic Congress and a Democratic President." Pelosi has publicly urged former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to run for president and said if Clinton does decide to run she would win. While she was clearly looking ahead the top House Democrat was careful not to concede the election this November. Pressed about the prediction she made

On Wednesday, the ex-CNN talk show host wrote his first story as editor-at-large for the Daily Mail. While the content is vicious, angry and sure to tickle conservative journalists and pols, the writing is colorful, even entertaining.“A slapdash Secret Service detail isn’t what’s wrong with the White House — the real scandal is a President who is so complacent about protecting Americans,” the headline blares. Piers predicts that now that President Obama went on “60 Minutes” and distanced himself from U.S. national intelligence agencies on the rapid spread of ISIS, he’s guaranteed himself leaks to the media for the remainder of his

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It
