FBI Probing Lost IRS Emails as
DOJ Sets to Defend Its Investigation

ABC News, by Staff

Amid a flurry of Republican calls for a special prosecutor to investigate the Internal Revenue Service’s alleged targeting of conservative groups, the Justice Department is set to defend its own probe of the matter as exhaustive and sufficient during a House hearing Thursday on the department’s response to the scandal. A top Justice Department official will tell the hearing that the department is now looking at how some of former senior IRS official Lois Lerner’s emails disappeared -- a new area of inquiry, Attorney General Eric Holder told ABC News in an exclusive interview Friday.

Oh sure, I believe that garbage. s/o Cleta Mitchell was on Fox the other day and said to date not one person from the FBI has talked to ANY of her clients. They have interviewed Lois Lerner, but none of her clients. We all know this is nothing but lies from Holder. What else would you expect from the lying racist Holder? Truth, justice and the rule of law mean nothing to that filthy radical.

Things must be looked into and Holder is rushing to take control of the investigation to make sure of the results. The democrats and the Obama administration are in on the fraud, and should not be allowed to investigate themselves.

I don´t trust the FBI any more than I trust the DOJ, NSA, CIA, DHS, TSA, FEMA, IRS, EPA, FNMA, NASA, DOD, ATF, DNC, CBC, ICE, or any other acronym under our Federal government´s banner. The whole thing is rotten to the core. The entire government is corrupt and needs to be discarded.

The FBI has been ´investigating´ for 2 years now. They can´t finish their ´probing´ until the hearings go away and there´s no longer a need to say ´we can´t disclose any information on an on-going investigation´. Ergo, the ´investigation´ will go nowhere.

John Kerry has spent much of this week shuttling between Middle Eastern capitals, trying to get Hamas and Israel to put down their guns in Gaza. For his efforts, Kerry probably did not expect to be suspected of being an armed threat himself. Yet that was what briefly happened on Tuesday, when Kerry was stopped by security guards as he entered Cairo´s presidential palace to meet Egypt´s president Abdel Fatah al-Sisi. Footage shows America´s top diplomat being "wanded" with a hand-held electronic scanner. It was a move that raised eyebrows among members of Kerry´s travelling press corps, who said the US

President Obama told Democratic donors Wednesday night that most Americans don’t have time to think about the details of the Benghazi terrorist attack or the problems with Obamacare. Speaking at a fundraiser at the Los Angeles home of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” creator Shonda Rhimes, the president took his usual shots at the Republican Party, suggesting its members are focused on the wrong issues and frequently “obfuscate and they bamboozle and sometimes don’t say what’s true.” And because people are not familiar with the intricacies of many public-policy issues, Republicans can get away with such obfuscation, he said. “The Republican

The initiative is aimed at raising awareness, especially among low-income families, about the importance of talking, reading and singing to babies starting from birth. PHOENIX - A condemned Arizona inmate gasped and snorted for more than an hour and a half during his execution Wednesday before he died in an episode sure to add to the scrutiny surrounding the death penalty in the U.S. Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne´s office said Joseph Rudolph Wood was pronounced dead at 3:49 p.m., one hour and 57 minutes after the execution started. Days before an Arizona murderer gasped and snorted for more than 90 minutes and died nearly two hours after his execution began, a conservative federal appeals judge called for replacing lethal injection with firing squads, saying the public must acknowledge that executions are "brutal, savage events." In a potentially crippling blow to Obamacare, a federal appeals court panel declared Tuesday that government subsidies worth billions of dollars that helped 4.7 million people buy insurance on HealthCare.gov are illegal. The 2-1 ruling said such subsidies can be granted only to people who bought insurance in an Obamacare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia—not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov. "Section 36B plainly makes subsidies available in the Exchanges established by states," wrote Senior Circuit Judge Raymond Randolph in his majority opinion, where he was joined by Judge Thomas Griffith. On Saturday, more than 200 volunteers spread out across Vermont for the annual loon survey. The results of the survey are trickling in, but Eric Hanson of the Vermont Center for Ecostudies and the coordinator of the Vermont Loon Conservation Project, said there are many more birds now than just a few years ago. He said 15 years ago there were around 100 loons. In 1983, biologists counted only 29. "It is a decent, stable population. I'm hoping that actually things do start to level out.
