Former Border Patrol Deputy Chief: ´All of the

Former national deputy chief of the U.S. Border Patrol Ronald Colburn tells National Review Online that the Obama administration has undone all of the progress made at America’s southern border since 9/11. “We’re back to a pre-9/11 situation basically, and this administration did that in the past five years,” he says. “All of the good that was done after 9/11 up to now has been reversed singlehandedly.” Colburn, who spent more than 30 years working for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, says the resulting national-security risk has to do with the “clutter” of people at the border. He says all of the

This means, no more voting.....no more freedom of choice.....all gone! You get told what you are allowed to eat, own and do. Thanks you dummies who voted for Obama. Thanks so much. Now we´ll all pay and we´ll all suffer till we die...if they don´t kill us first.

I remember reading a year or so ago that ICE estimated that there were 65,000 "OTM" crossing our southern border. I shudder to think what the real number is now.

FTA: “What this situation on the border is doing is growing the haystack, is adding clutter, so that those dangerous needles get through because we’re tied up capturing, instead, juvenile children from Guatemala and El Salvador,” he says. “When you see the cartels — the Zetas and MS-13 and the Gulf Cartel — laughing about this on the Internet, you know what’s behind it.”

You can be sure the terrorists all over the world are laughing too and cannot believe their good fortune in having the traitor Obama as president. When the next terrorist attack occurs of course the Republicans will be blamed. You can hear it now: Those Republicans didn´t pass the immigration bill that would have closed the border, blah, blah, blah. I just can´t stand the pure insanity that is coming out of Washington.

JERUSALEM—A Hamas force wearing Israeli army uniforms emerged from a tunnel inside Israel this morning and inflicted losses on Israeli troops before being wiped out. The Hamas squad numbered at least 10 fighters, Israeli sources said. Nine were killed but an Israeli officer said at least two may have escaped through the tunnel. In initial accounts, which gave conflicting narratives, the Hamas force was said to have emerged from a hidden tunnel on the Israeli side of the border only 200 yards from a kibbutz, and split into two groups. Israeli soldiers whom one group encountered shortly afterwards reportedly took them to

The Progressive mantra of “diversity is our strength” is one of the most honored catchphrases of the left. Like all slogans, it is a test to see if common folk are “gun-toting, Bible-clinging” Neanderthals or are they part of the enlightened, educated elites to whom the rest of us must surrender our individual beliefs, opinions, and thoughts. But as with all that the Progressives say, the meaning of the words being used is warped and misrepresented. For example, think about what Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz is saying in the following: Diversity on the bench is critical. As practitioners, you need judges who ´get it!´

That submission came in relatively late on Sunday. Monday’s article schedule was already set. But I put it up anyway, shifting another piece to do it. Want to get a new angle on Obama´s Hope and Change mantra? Longshoreman philosopher Eric Hoffer wrote the book about it before Obama was even born: The Ordeal of Change. [E]very radical adjustment is a crisis in self-esteem... It needs inordinate self-confidence to face drastic change without inner trembling. “Action,” wrote Hoffer, “is the most obvious way by which to gain confidence and prove our worth... [but] there must be an abundance of opportunities, and there must be a tradition of self-reliance” for a program of action to work. And back in the 19th century when the first great wave of immigration

As we suspected, President Obama tried in his Wednesday-night speech to make it sound like he was doing something new when he, in fact, he is not. Moreover, in describing his response, he made plain that he doesn’t take the threat to the homeland seriously. For a threat his advisers say is greater than that posed by al-Qaeda after 2001, he proposed measures suitable for Yemen and Somalia. No, really — that’s the plan. Rarely has a president faced a greater challenge in establishing his credibility for a new foreign-policy move than Barack Obama did in his nationally televised speech tonight. A CNN poll earlier this week found that just 30 percent of voters thought Obama had presented a clear plan for fighting the Islamic State. While Obama now pledges to ask Congress to train and aid Syrian rebels who would fight the group, voters remember that he backed similar plans in Syria in 2013, when his advisers saw Syrian president Bashar Assad as the major threat. President Obama just announced that he is bringing a counter-terrorism strategy to an insurgency fight. He was at pains to repeat the phrase “counter-terror” four times in a short speech. Noting that ISIL is not a state (partly because the international community thankfully does not recognize it), he declared, “ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.” Neither of those sentences, unfortunately, is true. Throughout his presidency, President Obama has emphasized one point while talking about Islamist extremists: They are not practicing Islam, he has said, they are perverting it. He took that a step further Wednesday night. While announcing that he´s expanding the campaign against the Islamic State extremist group into Syria, Obama said flatly that this group, which is trying to install a caliphate in the Middle East, "is not Islamic."
