Poll: 1 in 6 say immigration

Seventeen percent of people in the United States say immigration is the nation’s top problem, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday. That´s up from 5 percent in June, and is the highest number Gallup has registered for immigration since 2006, when 15 percent said it was the nation´s most pressing problem. Gallup’s new survey found immigration is virtually tied with “dissatisfaction with government” as the nation´s top problem. The economy and unemployment rank below immigration and “dissatisfaction with government" as top problems, the new poll found. Only 8 percent now rate healthcare as the top problem, down from 16 percent in January, when

I suspect this poll spike is due in large part to the unfolding disaster occurring on our southern border. Watch the MFM try to twist this into "support" for their so-called immigration reform.

Toldja polls are a crock of warm spit; Immigration is not our number one problem. Our problem is a corrupt president trying to turn America into a marxist state, along with his hell-bent corrupt cabinet and most of the congress as crooked as a dog´s hind leg. Apologies to the dog.

It´s only going to increase. By this fall it could be 1 in 3. This is a great opportunity to talk about real border security. If the GOP starts talking specifics, not just build a fence or send in the guard, but how border security was achieved in different sectors, what laws Obama isn´t enforcing, the problems with our exit visa system, they´ll swamp Democrats at the polls. They´ll do it with a lot of voters who usually vote Dem too.

Our #1 problem as a nation is that we have a president and administration that hates this nation, and wants to actively destroy it in every way possible (destroy our healthcare system, destroy traditional values and institutions, destroy the freedom of religion, disarm the law-abiding populace, destroy the military, etc, etc, etc).

They welcome the invasion of illegals storming our border. Just another tool to cause chaos and instability.

There is a host of issues that are candidates for the "top" problem. Almost all of them would be lessened if not eliminated by the simple act of Obama´s resignation.

Guess what, health care, unemployment, economy, etc are all related. The "immigration" is actually an invasion and it will adversely affect ALL those other things, not to mention cultural rot, security, political division, etc.

People who say Obama is incompetent don´t understand that he is VERY good at what he is doing and VERY good at masking his intentions so he appears incompetent.

Yes, this number will continue to grow exponentially. The child-filled Trojan Horse is an act of war and treason that is only the latest invasion that is an existential threat to the nation. Yes, it is that serious. It is nothing less than part of the effort to "fundamentally transform" the US - into a banana republic.

Remember last year when Karl Rove and his RNC sycophants insisted that Republicans bet everything in 2014 on the collapse of Obamacare?

Wrong again, Karl.

The media continues to push this invasion of illegals as "immigration" or an "immigration crisis". It is neither. It is an Obama-controlled and directed invasion of illegals with the governments of Mexico and various central American countries complicit. What this is, is treason. But The Won knows that the Republican party is paralyzed with fear and will do nothing, and that Boehner has been effectively neutered.

Texas Democratic-party gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis’s new book Forgetting to Be Afraid came out Monday, and the book’s claims have brought some new attention to the floundering Davis campaign. Davis writes that in 1997 she had an abortion that caused “deep, dark despair.” She writes that “Baby Tate” was suffering and would have died shortly after birth. The abortion was Davis’s second. She claims that the first was done because the pregnancy was ectopic and therefore a danger to her health. Reactions to the alleged revelation have varied. Some have offered compassion for both Davis and her deceased child, expressing sorrow over

The more Hillary Clinton looks like a candidate, the less invincible she appears. The former first lady and New York senator enjoyed sky-high approval ratings during her tenure as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state, but her numbers have returned to earth since she traded her perch as the nation’s top diplomat for her current role as the Democrats’ top presidential prospect in 2016. The latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found 43% of registered voters view Ms. Clinton positively, compared with the 41% who harbor negative views. That’s a steep drop from February 2009 when 59% viewed the newly confirmed secretary

The Obama administration asked Congress for $5 billion to fight terrorism but offered no details about how the money would be spent. Democrats want to give Obama the money anyway. Democrats in Congress are ready to give the Obama administration $5 billion in new funding to fight ISIS and other terror groups, despite the fact that the administration has no idea how the money will be spent. When the president calls for Congress to approve his new counterterrorism fund in his speech Wednesday, it´s unlikely he´ll mention that for the last four months his administration has stifled calls from inside and outside

Four little words – “Don’t do stupid stuff” – define the Obama Doctrine in all its non-glory, and the key word in this matrix is “do.” It implies in effect that wisdom is measured in negative energy, that by declining to act one can stay out of trouble, that passivity is the key to a guilt-free existence and a serene and an untroubled world. Never use force, don’t threaten force, and no one will blame you for anything. Pull out of wars and your foes will stop fighting. Don’t send men to war and your hands will be clean. In the belief

When they can’t meet established performance standards, the left makes up excuses, lowers the standards, and, if necessary, revises history along the way. In economics, there’s hardly a better of example of this kind of deliberate responsibility avoidance than what has happened to the idea of “full employment.” Full employment is supposed to occur when “all … who want to work and are allowed to work are able to find employment.” The unemployment rate associated with full employment obviously can’t be zero, because there will always be people out of work who are voluntarily or involuntarily moving from one job to another.
