Netanyahu tells West: Israel won´t
rest until Gaza demilitarized

Jerusalem Post, by Gil Hoffman

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 7/16/2014 10:13:13 AM

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday repeated his position that "Israel will continue to do what it needs to do to defend itself until peace and quiet are restored." The premier spoke at a joint news conference with Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini at the Knesset on Wednesday. Netanyahu called on the international community to condemn Hamas for committing the "double war crime" of firing on Israeli civilians and using Palestinian noncombatants as human shields. He also said that the "most important step for the international community to insist on" is "the demilitarization of Gaza."

Comments:
Sounds like a plan to me as well as a thumb in the eye to certain persons in Washington D.C. who tend to side with Islamic savages.

The globalists are taking the next step in the war on carbon dioxide. Scientists have linked this gas to the feeding of healthy plants and the blossoming of flowers, so the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the United Nations‘ global warming alarmist arm, last week let slip a plan for getting rid of it when the U.N. summit on the climate convenes on Sept. 23. The maniac charged with shooting a woman and a man with a pellet gun in Central Park blamed his friends for those attacks and two others over a 10-day span. Edward Fall, 20, accused a friend named Hollywood of shooting the two joggers in Central Park earlier this month, according to his confession. He fingered another friend, Antwan Ross, 21, as the man who shot two people — and a dog — in Midtown West with pellets on Thursday, cops said. Fall said Hollywood fired the pistol at a 34-year-old man on Aug. 17 and at a 36-year-old woman on

WASHINGTON — The legalization of recreational marijuana in two states — Colorado and Washington — and medical marijuana in more than 20 others has raised concern that there will be more drivers stoned behind the wheel. What´s not clear is whether that will translate into an increase in fatal crashes. ___ WHAT WE KNOW While marijuana users can perform simple tasks well while they are high, brain imaging has shown that they have to use more of their brain to do so. Their reaction times are slower, peripheral vision is decreased and multitasking impeded. As a result, when sudden or surprising things occur

FERGUSON, Mo. — Police officers in Ferguson, Mo., have begun wearing body cameras after weeks of unrest about the shooting death of an unarmed black man by a white officer and sharply differing accounts of the incident, officials said yesterday. Michael Brown, 18, was shot multiple times by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9, sparking nearly three weeks of angry protests in the St. Louis suburb and drawing attention to race relations in the United States. Law enforcement and witnesses gave differing accounts of what transpired before Brown was shot, with police saying the man had struggled with the officer.

After several mercifully Benghazi-free months, the 2012 attack on the diplomatic compound in Libya is about to be thrust back into the spotlight around its September 11 anniversary. The special House committee investigating Benghazi is finally expected to begin its work, in earnest, with its first hearing the week Congress returns from August recess. Meanwhile, two books promising explosive new allegations about the terror attack will hit shelves in September, and Fox News plans to air a new, one-hour documentary on the attack this week, featuring exclusive interviews with Americans who fought in the onslaught.

Sheriff’s deputies in Georgia say they foiled a bizarre smuggling scheme in which two jailed inmates used their dead grandmother’s casket to help them smuggle drugs and other contraband back into the jail. Jailers escorted Henry Ison Rouse, 27, and Nekoase Antwan Vinson, 30, in handcuffs and leg restraints to the Bentley Brothers funeral home Thursday evening to bid farewell to their grandmother. Emma Mae Faulk of Macon died last Sunday at age 74 and the prisoners were allowed a private viewing. “One of them stayed in there (with the casket) a good amount of time,” the Rev. America’s racial divide not only remains but has deepened in some ways over the last six years, despite hopes President Obama’s election would usher in a “post-racial” America. The shooting of an unarmed black man and resulting rioting in Ferguson, Missouri, is only the latest racial flashpoint in Obama’s tenure, which has featured tense, racially-charged debates over issues like the arrest of a black Harvard professor and Obama friend in front of his house and the resulting “beer summit,” the expansion of voter ID laws, and the killing of Trayvon Martin. “We’re nowhere near a post-racial society,” says Michael Eric Dyson,

Muslim leaders have issued a fatwa condemning Islamic extremist group ISIS, and have said that British jihadis are "betraying their own societies" by getting involved in the conflicts in Iraq and Syria. The fatwa represents the British Muslim community´s strongest denunciation of ISIS yet, calling the extremist group "heretical" and "an oppressive and tyrannical group." According to The Sunday Times, the fatwa, authored by Sheik Usama Hasan, a former imam from east London, and supported by six senior Islamic scholars across the country, says it is "religiously prohibited (haram) to support or join" ISIS. President Obama needs to take action to stop Islamic State (Isis) militants from targeting cities in America and Western Europe, two senators have warned. Without offering specifics on any threats or suggestions on how to confront them, the leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives intelligence committees urged the White House to work to prevent the Islamic State extremists from launching attacks on US soil. The bipartisan pair shared a dire warning against Isis, which now has control of vast swathes of Syria and Iraq, has killed civilians from that region and beheaded American journalist James Foley. “This is

On TV, incompetence is funny, sometimes hilarious. Jackie Gleason made a career of it on the old “Honeymooners” show; Tom Haverford is absurdly incapable on “Parks and Recreation”; and Michael Scott brought the Peter Principle to new heights in “The Office.” But in real life, incompetence can be dangerous, even life-threatening (think a real-life Homer Simpson actually in charge of safety at a nuclear power plant). That’s where America finds itself nearly six years into the presidency of Barack Obama. There’s no question Mr. Obama has all but checked out. There’s just no way to explain the president’s decision to

Some time ago I contrasted the reaction a conservative would get if he were in the same room with the two most consequential politicians of the 1990s, Bill Clinton and Rudy Giuliani. If you were in a room with Bill Clinton, he would discover the one issue out of 100 on which you agreed; he would probe you with questions, comments, suggestions; and he would tell you that you enabled him to understand it far better than he ever had before. Because I am a black conservative, someone wrote asking me this great question. “What is it that compels some black men and women to cling to, and follow people like Sharpton, Jackson, Wright, Obama, Spike Lee, Black Panthers, Holder, etc.?” I have pondered the same question. Some black folks embrace victim status because it provides cover for their laziness and irresponsible lifestyles. Black Judases preach a false, evil gospel of victimhood-ism for profit. Some blacks are racist, pure and simple. I believe that a majority of black Americans simply have not been exposed to unfiltered conservatism – to blacks articulating how blessed they

The National Institutes of Health study is now in its fourth year, receiving an additional $670,567 for fiscal year 2014, for a total cost of $2.87 million, the Washington Free Beacon reported. Researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital have come to several conclusions since studying “the striking interplay of gender and sexual orientation in obesity disparities,” which is slated to last until 2016. They have determined that gay and bisexual males had a “greater desire for toned muscles” than straight men, lesbians have lower

Between 1970 and 1990, the population of Philadelphia shrank by a quarter, dropping from 1.95 to 1.59 million. Like many American cities, it seemed caught in a downward spiral. Since then – like many American cities – Philadelphia has stabilized. The population now appears to have bottomed out at the millennium, and has been regaining residents over the past decade. But as it rebounds, Philly is becoming a different kind of city. In the two most recent decades, which comprise the bounce of the city’s population curve, owner-occupied housing dropped even more steeply than in the ’70s and ’80s. Between 2000 and

WASHINGTON — The current Congress is on track to be the worst ever at passing laws since modern record-keeping began, with three of its lawmakers failing to introduce a single bill, The Post has learned. The divided House and Senate have managed to pass just 163 laws that garnered President Obama’s signature since the two-year term began in January 2013. At this rate, Congress will have no problem beating the previous record set during the 2011-2013 session in which 284 laws were passed. That was down from 385 laws passed in the 2009-2011 session.
