Netanyahu tells West: Israel won´t
rest until Gaza demilitarized

Jerusalem Post, by Gil Hoffman

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 7/16/2014 10:13:13 AM

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday repeated his position that "Israel will continue to do what it needs to do to defend itself until peace and quiet are restored." The premier spoke at a joint news conference with Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini at the Knesset on Wednesday. Netanyahu called on the international community to condemn Hamas for committing the "double war crime" of firing on Israeli civilians and using Palestinian noncombatants as human shields. He also said that the "most important step for the international community to insist on" is "the demilitarization of Gaza."

Comments:
Sounds like a plan to me as well as a thumb in the eye to certain persons in Washington D.C. who tend to side with Islamic savages.

The North Korean government is extremely busy – what with continually rattling sabres, battling extended famines, holding off imminent social collapse, and trying to convince everyone that North Korea is destined to rule the planet. Yet its youthful ´supreme leader´ Kim Jong Un still finds time for his favourite pastime: looking at random things

It may be the most cold-hearted case of the knockout game yet. A 33-year-old punk punched a pregnant woman in the face so hard that she lost consciousness. But the creep was quickly arrested, just blocks away, cops said Friday. Jannatul Ferdous — two months from her due date — told the Daily News she was horrified for her unborn child. “I was scared and worried about the baby,” the 34-year-old victim said at her home in Brooklyn. The suspect, Willie Stephens, doled out the unprovoked smack at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, as Ferdous strolled down Monroe St. near Ralph Ave.

FERGUSON, MO – It’s now been one week since the shooting of Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer in the Canfield Green apartment complex. In that time precious little has been said about the investigation into 18-year-old Michael Brown’s death. St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch is on record says that his office is reviewing all relevant information, evidence and witnesses to the shooting. But that has done little to calm the residents of Ferguson who again demanded information on the status of the investigation from Governor Jay Nixon as spoke at a press conference Saturday afternoon.

ANCHORAGE — A polar bear surprised a mother and daughter in a tent on Alaska´s Barter Island, and biologists say such encounters likely will increase with the ongoing loss of sea ice from climate warming. Marie Rexford, 51, and her 81-year-old mother, Betty Brower, were at a fish camp outside the Inupiat village of Kaktovik, the Alaska Dispatch News reported Tuesday. Rexford was pulling on her socks last week when she looked over her shoulder and saw the outline of a paw pressed against the canvas tent. The paw belonged to a polar bear that was trying to push inside,

Concerned that children will be exposed to health risks and protesters, a Lehighton youth soccer team has dropped out of a tournament hosted by KidsPeace this weekend. The Carbon United Soccer Club played in the KidsPeace Soccer Invitational for the last eight years but the U10 team, the Outkasts, backed out this year. Parents and coaches felt uneasy with recent revelations that the nonprofit organization houses children who entered this country illegally, many of whom are Central American. For more than a year, KidsPeace has sheltered children in coordination with the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement. About 80 protesters held a rally

Lights can clearly be seen in its surrounding countries of Russia, China and South Korea - where the capital Seoul just 35 miles from the border. Hillary Clinton is slipping against her potential Republican rivals in the 2016 presidential race, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll released Thursday afternoon. Clinton, the Democratic front-runner in the still far-away contest, leads her opponents by noticeably smaller margins than she held in April, when the poll was last conducted. Against New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), for example, the McClatchy-Marist poll found Clinton dropped 5% since April and 15% since February. She now leads Christie by just 47% to 41%. The story is the same for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R). In April, Clinton led Bush by a

Now the question is whether she is disconnected from all principles, not to mention the details of her own biography. The running gag with Clinton used to be about her ever-changing hairstyles. INDIANAPOLIS - A federal judge has ruled Indiana and nearly 40 state school districts can sue the Internal Revenue Service over rules it imposed to implement the federal health care overhaul. The judge on Tuesday declined an IRS request to dismiss the 2013 lawsuit by 39 districts. The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis contends the federal health care law doesn’t allow financial penalties in states that didn’t create their own online insurance marketplaces. Such states instead ceded that task to the federal government. The lawsuit asks the federal court to issue an injunction blocking the IRS

A Travis County grand jury today indicted Gov. Rick Perry on two charges related to his effort last year to force District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign after her drunken driving arrest. Grand jurors charged Perry, 63, with abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony, and coercion of a public official. The indictments stemmed from Perry’s threat last summer to withhold $7.2 million in state money from Lehmberg’s office unless she step down – a threat he later carried out by vetoing an appropriation in the state budget. The money was earmarked for the state’s Public Integrity Unit, which is housed in Lehmberg’s office. Perry’s veto forced

This is ridiculous. AUSTIN (KXAN) – A grand jury has handed up an indictment against Gov. Rick Perry in connection with the investigation into an effort to force Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign. Perry wanted Lehmberg to resign because she had been busted for drunk driving. It’s not good to have a drunk driver, captured on camera abusing the officers who arrested her, heading up the Public Integrity Unit. At the center of the issue is a complaint about intimidation stemming from Perry’s threat to veto of $7.5 million in state funding to the Public Integrity Unit

They say a prosecutor could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, and this always seemed like hyperbole, until Friday night a Texas grand jury announced an indictment of governor Rick Perry. The “crime” for which Perry faces a sentence of 5 to 99 years in prison is vetoing funding for a state agency. The conventions of reporting — which treat the fact of an indictment as the primary news, and its merit as a secondary analytic question — make it difficult for people reading the news to grasp just how farfetched this indictment is. One person was shot and seven people arrested early this morning as police used smoke and tear gas to impose a curfew following the killing of an unarmed black teenager. Officers are seeking the person who shot the critically-wounded victim after the 12am-5am curfew took hold in Ferguson, Missouri - eight days after Michael Brown, 18, was shot dead by police. Police said their strong response came after people broke into a restaurant and took position on the roof overlooking officers, while another man flashed a handgun as armoured vehicles approached. The scandal that erupted Friday night involved millions of dollars, statehouse power plays—oh yeah, and alcohol, police, and masks. Texas Governor Rick Perry was indicted Friday on charges of abuse of power—a first degree felony—and coercion—a third degree felony. The charges stem from a 2013 scandal that has been quietly rumbling in the Lone Star State as Perry has been floated as a viable contender for the Republican nomination in 2016. This is a complex case, which might be why it has not made national headlines the way other recent, state-level scandals (like Bridgegate, in New Jersey) have. Below, I have outlined

Last week, Holder announced the federal probe following protests and outrage over the murder of the unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Missouri. A grand jury in Travis County, Texas, indicted Governor Rick Perry today. Why? For exercising his constitutional prerogative by threatening to veto, and then vetoing, an appropriation to support the public corruption unit in Travis County’s district attorney’s office. This followed the arrest of the county’s district attorney, Democratic Party activist Rosemary Lehmberg, for drunk driving, after she was found “with an open bottle of vodka in the front passenger seat of her car in a church parking lot in Austin.” Ms. Lehmberg served 45 days in jail. The Travis County district attorney’s office has long been a cesspool of corruption.

The Obama administration has done little to calm racial tensions as they spread from Manhattan to St. Louis to Los Angeles. Quite the opposite, some top officials have fueled African-American fears of racism with false accusations of anti-black discrimination. Attorney General Eric Holder’s race-baiting is no secret. Justice Department documents show the nation’s top cop gave thousands of dollars to help the Rev. Al Sharpton organize marches protesting the death of Trayvon Martin. Now he’s sent the civil-rights unit to St. Louis to do the same thing in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown. Less known, however, is the role of Labor Secretary Thomas

Although some Democrats are calling for Texas. Gov Rick Perry´s (R) resignation after he was indicted by a grand jury on Friday, a number of left-leaning observers immediately panned the allegations as unimpressive. Perry, an expected presidential candidate in 2016, is accused of "abuse of official capacity" and "coercion of [a] public servant" by publicly threatening to zero out a state prosecutor´s funding and then actually doing it. Several pundits, including former Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod, Clinton and Obama administration alum Jonathan Prince, Vox´s Matt Yglesias, and New York magazine´s Jonathan Chait, wrote on Twitter they couldn´t see what
