Health survey gives government
its first large-scale data on gay,
bisexual population

Washington Post, by Sandhya Somashekhar

Less than 3 percent of the U.S. population identify themselves as gay, lesbian or bisexual, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Tuesday in the first large-scale government survey measuring Americans’ sexual orientation. The National Health Interview Survey, which is the government’s premier tool for annually assessing Americans’ health and behaviors, found that 1.6 percent of adults self-identify as gay or lesbian, and 0.7 percent consider themselves bisexual. The overwhelming majority of adults, 96.6 percent, labeled themselves as straight in the 2013 survey. An additional 1.1 percent declined to answer, responded “I don’t know the answer” or said they

Jeepers! I thought it had to be 50%, considering all the attention it brings. Note - this is in the Health section of the WP. There is nothing "healthy" about sodomy.

So does that mean that the illegals are "currently" a larger voting block than LGBTers? HA-HA

So, approximately 3% of the population decides what we get for entertainment and live style? It´s time to re-boot!

Less than 3% of the people are attempting an overthrow of the culture of our country. Pretty sad that the left is letting them get away with it.

The US, where:
* Less than 3% of the population is sexually abnormal (by definition)
* 12-13% of the population is black
* About 55% of the world´s lawyers "practice" law
* And whose leader hates the country that elected him...

And the sentient among us bemoan the corruption of our culture and the rapid descent of this country into third world (at best) status.

Will someone tell the goofy Journalist, Sandhya Somashekhar, that there was an extensive survey a few years ago that found 1.7% of our population were homos. This is NOT the first large scale survey.

According to a Pew Research poll earlier this month,78.4% of Americans define themselves as Christian.

The Constitution guarantees he freedom of religion.

Yet Christianity has been attacked, and the rights of Christians have been margianilized to an extreme extent.

If 1.6% of the population can cause such an uproar, why can´t we, the 78.4% get really loud and demand our rights and freedoms?!?!?!?!?

Reading the study, it´s 1.6% gay and lesbian. Adding in the bisexuals it´s just over 2%.

"Less than 3%" fixes 3% in the mind, but rounding it´s 2%.

However, it´s probably higher because I think there´s still a resistance to telling the government your business even among people willing to talk.

After President Barack Obama breathlessly addressed four different foreign-policy issues during a 10-minute statement, he summed up the state of a crisis-filled world in one sentence. "We live in a complex world and at a challenging time," Obama said. Obama touched on the laundry list of global flashpoints situations during a statement from the White House on Wednesday — the disputed elections in Afghanistan, the negotiations on Iran´s nuclear program, the Israeli-Palestinian crisis, and, finally, the conflict in Ukraine. The most significant recent development in these situations was the announcement of new sanctions on Russia shortly before the president spoke. Obama described those

In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide. Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Rep. Tom Rice (R., S.C.) and constitutional law expert David Rivkin on Wednesday predicted victory in the lawsuit the House is launching against President Barack Obama. The House Rules Committee held a hearing on the proposed lawsuit, which is intended to prove the unconstitutionality of Obama’s unilateral delay of the employer mandate portion of the Affordable Care Act. Witnesses at the hearing argued about whether the House has standing to sue the president to enforce the law. “I’m very optimistic that this lawsuit will succeed,” Rivkin said in an interview. “I certainly expect there to be a propaganda offensive to

Thanks to our friends at Washington Free Beacon, you’ll never have to watch a Barack Obama speech again. Reason being, this 76-second video shows you everything he’s going to say. He will: Tell you it’s great to be back in whatever town he’s in. Tell you to have a seat – twice. Appreciate the introduction. Love you back. Recommend building more roads and bridges. Say the economy grows from the middle out. Say the wealthy have to “pay their fair share.” Blame Republicans in Congress for everything. Encourage you to vote rather than boo.

Former Secretary of State and almost-certain 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton not only demanded $275,000 to speak at the University of Buffalo, her nine-page contract is filled with the kinds of demands that Pop Divas like Madonna are regularly mocked for. According to documents obtained by the Washington Post, on top of that mammoth speaking fee, Clinton´s contract demands……the university provide "a presidential glass panel teleprompter and a qualified operator," that Clinton´s office have "final approval" of her introducer and the moderator of any question-and-answer session, as well as "the sets, backdrops, banners, scenery, logos, settings, etc," and that the

After sending a letter and questioning Attorney General Eric Holder twice and former FBI Director Robert Mueller once about the probe, Rep. I urge the Department to move forward with this investigation in an expeditious and prudent manner." Chaffetz also told Gretchen Carlson on Fox News’ “The Real Story” Wednesday that the open investigation may have a chilling

Barack Obama provoked fury in the U.S. by casually devoting mere moments to the deaths of 295 people aboard a Malaysian airliner on Thursday in Wilmington, Delaware, and then launching into jokes and his prepared remarks on the need to expand America´s transportation infrastructure. CIUDAD HIDALGO, Mexico – Mexico is promising to stem the flow of Central American migrants to the United States by tightening control at its notoriously porous Guatemalan border. But messages from the country´s top two leaders in little more than a week have provided few details on how. And the scene on the ground is business as usual. Dozens of Central Americans who paid $1.50 a head could be seen this week crossing the broad Suchiate River on improvised rafts of inner tubes and wooden boards, in full view of Mexican police on the shore and immigration agents posted on
