Gov. Malloy Denies Feds´ Request

The administration of Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-WFP) has denied a request from federal officials to temporarily house up to 2,000 illegal immigrant children from Central America at a residence in his state for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Citing concerns about the condition of the aging Southbury Training School, the difficulties associated with caring for over 300 developmentally disabled clients, and legal and procedural hurdles, Connecticut’s state Office of Policy and Management (OPM) wrote to the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) New England regional offices on Monday, indicating that Connecticut could not assist them. I´m sure these dimwits in the administration thought they would have compliance from their own... but at some point it is obvious even to Dems, that to get those illegals in your state will mean draining your finances. Not to mention, they won´t leave! I´m glad to see push back. About time.

Gov. Perry needs to deny the same request for Texas. In fact, Texas needs to defend its own borders and protect our sovereignity. Man the borders, deport the illegals, and all democrats from the state.

We in Texas plan to take up a collection and send them all to Washington, DC.

Gov Perry has no authority under Texas law to say they can´t park the kids here, that would fall under the county judge and/or county commissioners court. So far Dallas is the only one to actively endorse the idea and they are getting a lot of heat from the neighborhoods which would be involved.

There is an opportunity for a democratic governor to pick up the middle in 2016 and run as the democrat to bring the country back to the middle without Clinton and Obama baggage. That whole triangulation thang. Said governor will run circles around anyone Karl Rove and the liberal establishment forward.

President Obama violated a “clear and unambiguous” law when he released five Guantanamo Bay detainees in exchange for Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, the Government Accountability Office reported Thursday. “[The Department of Defense] violated section 8111 because it did not notify the relevant congressional committees at least 30 days in advance of the transfer,” the GAO report said. “In addition, because DOD used appropriated funds to carry out the transfer when no money was available for that purpose, DOD violated the Antideficiency Act. The Antideficiency Act prohibits federal agencies from incurring obligations exceeding an amount available in an appropriation.” The GAO rejected

From his address in Berlin to his acceptance speech in Chicago, he eschewed ornaments and other politicians, conveying the sense that he was above the grubby political scene, unearthly and apart. He began “Dreams From My Father” with a description of his time living on the Upper East Side while he was a student at Columbia, savoring his lone-wolf existence. He was, he wrote, “prone to see other people as unnecessary distractions.”

Global warming has been temporarily ´paused´ according to a group of scientists, who attribute this interlude to climate fluctuations and a more restrained sun. Researchers at ETH Zurich have explained the two reasons behind the warming hiatus in their study published in the latest issue of the journal Nature Geoscience. The first is that global temperatures, which rose significantly in the 1990s, have only risen very slightly since 1998 - which has been used by sceptics to question climate change and the models used to measure it.
