Obama announces funds to prepare
country for climate change

MSNBC, by Jane C. Timm

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 7/16/2014 9:38:30 AM

In his ongoing effort to combat climate change through executive authority, President Obama announced Wednesday a series of investments to support communities across the country as they prepare for the worst effects yet to come. The millions provided will give communities and states the funds to shore up their vulnerabilities, as well as “create jobs, provide certainty to states and communities, support American businesses, and grow our economy,” a statement from the White House said. The president has made it a second-term priority to tackle climate change, as Republicans routinely deny that the Earth’s temperature is warming and dramatically altering weather patterns.

Comments:
Yet another monumental waste of our tax dollars. These funds are nothing more than "street money" that will end up being misspent on the local level dressed up as a solution for a non-existent problem.
The only thing 0bama is preparing us for is financial insolvency.

The American government is split along ideological lines and are at war. 0bama is incapable of admitting his mistakes and will be on a scorched earth strategy until he´s gone. Expect it to get even uglier if his party loses the Senate.
