This 76-Second Video Covers Pretty
Much Every Speech Obama Has Ever Made

Independent Journal Review, by Mike Miller

Original Article

Thanks to our friends at Washington Free Beacon, you’ll never have to watch a Barack Obama speech again. Reason being, this 76-second video shows you everything he’s going to say. He will: Tell you it’s great to be back in whatever town he’s in. Tell you to have a seat – twice. Appreciate the introduction. Love you back. Recommend building more roads and bridges. Say the economy grows from the middle out. Say the wealthy have to “pay their fair share.” Blame Republicans in Congress for everything. Encourage you to vote rather than boo.

And this just proves to me how very stupid people are who listen to him over and over again and applaud this insanity. Yet, they think they are all that. Crazy.

That shifting accent goes perfectly with the shifty speaker.

Have you heard Obama in his state Senate days? He sounds like Hillary Clinton with his flat Chicago vowels. Then he decided to talk like Stuart Scott of ESPN.

I was expecting the 199 times he used ‘I,’ ‘Me,’ ‘My’ from one recent speech all clumped together back-to-back.

But this was good, too.

Yes, the basic elements of Obama-speak, made effective by his flash smile and a spellbound media. How did this happen? The key factor may well have been a receptive mindset that emerged over many years. A mindset that enabled a good talker to gain control of a great country.

Even though I do tune in to watch Barry´s State-of-the-Union speech, it is hard to sit through without wanting to throw things at the TV. I only watch just to see the reaction to his speech by my favorite Republicans and the Justices of the Supreme Court.

When Barry enters the House chamber, I look to see which Republicans make fools of themselves patting him on the back and giving him "high 5´s". Like an elephant, I have a long memory and I make a mental note to be leery of any Republican who appears overly eager to shake Barry´s hand. Also I watch to see which Republicans zealously applaud parts of his speech, which is probably designed to make them do just that - press their "look what I´m doing in Congress button".

Michelle Nunn: Favorable Media Bias

Breitbart Big Journalism, by John Nolte    Original Article

Over at National Review, Eliana Johnson got hold of a confidential campaign plan for Michelle Nunn, the Georgia Democrat running for the U.S. Senate. Nunn is one of the two or three hopes Democrats have of actually picking up a Senate seat. The campaign is cynical, to say the least, especially in its assessment of Jews as a "tremendous financial opportunity" and Asians as "very tight." Ricochet looked at the report and found one area the campaign felt very good about: How Nunn could count on the media to be on its side and even warn them of in advance of GOP attacks: Her strategists are optimistic that the media won’t prove much of an

Sen. John Kerry spent more than 20 minutes discussing the religious crises overseas during the 2013 Annual Report on International Religious Freedom, advocating religious freedom for all and declaring religious liberty to be “a universal value… ingrained in every human heart… a birthright of every human being.” “That’s what we believe,” Kerry said. But Kerry’s speech has some ironic timing. He’s speaking on behalf of the State Dept. – that is, the federal government — the same federal government that tried to force a business to provide contraceptives contrary to the employers’ religious beliefs. President Obama and congressional Republicans are in the political equivalent of a bad marriage. They bicker about everything, accuse each other of acting in bad faith and don´t much like each other. Now, like a lot of dysfunctional relationships, this one is heading to court. This week, before the House leaves for its August recess, the GOP majority is expected to approve a lawsuit against Obama. Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, says it will accuse the president of unconstitutionally abusing his executive power by delaying the Obamacare requirement that larger companies provide health insurance or pay a fine — the so-called

President Obama has overstepped his constitutional authority — and it is the responsibility of the House of Representatives to defend the Constitution. At the same time, we remain focused on the American people´s top priority: jobs and the economy. I believe the president´s actions in a number of areas — including job-destroying energy regulations, releasing the "Taliban 5" from Guantanamo without notice and waiving the work requirements in welfare — exceed his constitutional authority. On the advice of legal experts, the House action will focus on his decision to extend — twice — the deadline to institute the employer mandate

When The Times of Israel’s Avi Issacharoff first reported the content of John Kerry’s ceasefire proposal on Friday afternoon, I wondered if something had gotten lost in translation. It seemed inconceivable that the American secretary of state would have drafted an initiative that, as a priority, did not require the dismantling of Hamas’s rocket arsenal and network of tunnels dug under the Israeli border. Yet the reported text did not address these issues at all, nor call for the demilitarization of Gaza. Murray´s article is a devastating deconstruction of claims that marijuana is relatively safe, or at least safer than alcohol. And, as he points out, it thereby undermines much of the basis of the New York Times´s blithely irresponsible editorial endorsement of marijuana legalization. Read Murray´s whole piece.
