Mrs. Obama Declares
War on Chick-fil-A

Townhall, by Todd Starnes

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/15/2014 12:55:08 PM

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

Comments:
I utterly despise that hateful woman as much as her despicable husband. Queen Mooch indeed.

Why are public schools so poorly run that they have to sell fast food in order to meet basic expenditures? What business is it of the first "lady" to meddle in local affairs? Why does the GOP House keep funding these power grabs?

She´s singled them out because the company is owned by observant Christians. This smacks of retaliation for the left´s Hobby Lobby defeat.
The company ought to sue her personally since she is not a government officer.

How come we have a right to body autonomy as far as reproduction rights are concerned ... yet they think they have a right to tell us what we can/should or cannot/should not eat?

And ... what about all that certain segment of society that particularly likes fried chicken? Could this be considered a racial war?

Hey Socastee High, how about ignoring the ruling, telling the federal overlords to get lost, and managing the food as best you know how without any useless interference from Washington. If you don´t have the guts to do that, then simply cut the sandwiches in half and sell them for half price, limit 4 to a customer. Problem solved.

FTA, "there’s another consequence to the Chick-fil-A ban – all the profits funded field trips for the school’s special education students.

“The Chick-fil-A profits went directly to the field trips,” the principal told the newspaper. “We’ve got to raise some money, but we will figure something out.”

Maybe they could get the math students to figure out how many carrot sticks they’ll have to sell to send the youngsters to Six Flags."

School lunches and snacks should be decided by LOCAL folks, not some unelected tyrant with champagne and caviar tastes for herself but bottled water and air-dried kale chips for school kids. Good grief, parents, fight back!

Just as with Hobby Lobby, this is an attack on a Christian business. Chick-fil-A is not open on Sundays, is very charitable in their communities, started by a wonderful Christian family. Michelle needs to be told to sit down and mind her knitting...she has no authority to tell ANTONE what or where to eat.

Bill Ayers, according to the right, is Barack Obama’s terrorist trainer and ghostwriter. Upon further inspection, Ayers is nothing quite as dramatic or fearsome. While more famous for his anti-war activities as a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s and ‘70s, he is now a committed educator. Retired from his education professorship at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Ayers continues to give lectures to teachers in training, speak at education conferences and agitate against America’s two-tiered educational system – one for rich, one for poor – on behalf of low-income parents, students and instructors. In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. The governors saw a disaster in the making, and sought a moderate candidate who could capture the imaginations of grassroots Republicans—but also beat President Lyndon Johnson in the general election. Led by Ohio’s James Rhodes—the Republican Governors Association was meeting in Cleveland, and Rhodes was a legendary vote counter—the group included Pennsylvania’s William Scranton and later New York’s Nelson Rockefeller. Just call her a pit bull without lipstick! Sarah Palin is proving she has a sense of humor about the makeup-free photos that surfaced this week. On Monday, the 50-year-old politician was photographed by paparazzi looking fresh-faced without any cosmetics on. But instead of getting mad about the slyly snapped no-makeup shots, the former Alaska governor took to Facebook to joke about the incident. "Feel bad for the poor paparazzi hounding outside my truck this morning hoping to capture a tabloid ‘exclusive´ of me coming out of Bikram Hot Yoga. How about we take away their ‘exclusive´ and I´ll give

(Video) Wednesday at the Senate Foreign Relation Committee hearing on U.S. strategy for combating ISIS, after Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) criticized Secretary of State John Kerry, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) was left "shaking and trembling" in shock. Boxer said, "I think it is shocking and a sad state of affairs that we heard just now, such angry comments aimed at you, Mr. Secretary, and through you, at our president instead of at ISIS, a savage group who decapitated two Americans and have warned, and I quote, that their thirst for more American blood is right out there." "I think it´s shocking,"
