Poll: Obama, Republicans face broad
disapproval over handling of migrant crisis

Washington Post, by David Nakamura and Scott Clement

Original Article

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds widespread public disapproval of the way President Obama and Republicans in Congress are handling the influx of unaccompanied foreign children at the southern border as the two sides engage in a fierce debate over how to stem the crisis. Nearly 6 out of 10 Americans are not happy with Obama’s performance in dealing with the tens of thousands of minors who have arrived from Central America in recent months, overwhelming Border Patrol stations. All told, 58 percent disapprove of his management on the issue, including 54 percent of Latinos

What stupidity!

Congress has passed laws and the Traitor-in-Chief has ignored, or modified, them.

What laws could the Republicans pass that would a) get through Harry Reid, and b) be obeyed by the muslim-in-chief?

What do Repubs have to do with Obama´s open invitation to come to his Amerika?? Obama opened our country and our wallets to every illegal who can manage to get across our porous southern border while telling us that "I, the great Obama, have made the invisible fence more invisible than ever". Obama has also told those who have been convicted of serious crimes that they too can stay as long as they continue to vote for Democrats.

If GOP has erred, it is in not impeaching Obama for not faithfully enforcing the laws he has sworn to enforce.

I don´t blame them one bit for not passing legislation. Given past history, The Won would ignore the provisions he didn´t like.

"The poll did not measure public attitudes about another proposal the Obama administration has floated informally, suggesting that Congress alter the 2008 law to make it easier for the Department of Homeland Security to deport children from Central America."

This highlights all you need to know. Omission is every bit as important as inclusion in these biased polls. The results are heavily skewed by questions not asked, as well as those asked, and the manner in which they are framed. Then there is the matter of how the sample is selected and weighted, further skewing the results.

That is why these polls only serve as an effort to substantiate a preconceived agenda, and not much more.

The only poll that counts is the one in NOvember, and even that one has been too often compromised.

Notice that the only political entity that is not identified as being responsible in this bogus poll description are the Democrats in Congress who will be up for reelection in November?

This massive influx of young illegal aliens coming across the borderline has nothing to do with the Republicans. It has been Obama and the liberal Democrats who invited this unlawful influx of illegal aliens by continuously talking up amnesty, especially their invented proposed "Dreamer" amnesty for young illegal aliens up to age 30, and recently Obama praising illegal aliens at a party for a big group of them at the White House. Common sense tells you that all that is a big invitation to further mass uncontrolled illegal immigration into the USA.

Until the immigration laws are effectively enforced and depoliticized the illegal alien situation will only get worse.

The Two Issues That Could
Bring Down Obamacare
Fiscal Times, by Brianna Ehley    Original Article

Today marks the one-year anniversary for Obamacare’s health exchanges—which have helped more than 7 million people across the country enroll in health coverage. And while Obamacare’s marketplace is settling in for its second year, serious issues are cropping up that could potentially derail the entire health care law leaving millions without affordable health coverage. The first potential problem deals with funding for the law’s crucial risk corridor program, which protects insurers from major losses. Insurers who agree to sell policies on the new exchanges are compensated for if they incur heavy losses during the first few years of Obamacare’s implementation.

I must say, there’s something about the way accused White House intruder Omar Gonzalez is constantly described in the media that bothers me. I keep hearing him called “Army veteran Omar Gonzalez.” It’s true he’s an Army veteran. So I’m not disputing the fact. But I have a little trouble with the relevance. I know there is a cottage industry out there trying to hype up the threat of returning vets as the real source of domestic terrorism (we all remember the DHS-report controversy). But it’s worth noting that Gonzalez’s alleged motivation was to tell the president the atmosphere is

At least since the early part of the 20th century, aside from oil, the Arab world has produced and exported two products. It has produced essentially no technology, medicine or anything else in the world of science. It has almost no contributions to world literature, art or to intellectual development. According to the most recent United Nations Arab Human Development Reports (2003-2005), written by Arab intellectuals, Greece, with a population of 11 million, annually translates five times more books from English than the entire Arab world, population 370 million. Nor is this a new development. The total number of books translated into

Hispanic voters were a key part of the coalition that elected President Obama, but lately the demographic has soured on him. Obama’s weekly approval among Hispanics dipped to 45 percent during the period ended Sept. 28, according to Gallup, and it has remained below 50 percent for the past five weeks. While support for Obama is higher among Hispanics than the overall population, the cushion he had is diminishing as he enters the second half of his presidency. In early 2013, around the beginning of his second term, Gallup reported that Hispanic approval of Obama was 74 percent, compared with 51 percent

In educational conversation, when you mention the words “charter schools,” people tend to either love them or hate them. Unfortunately, either way, the handwriting is on the smart board. A recent survey found only 46 of 925 high-poverty New York City public schools, where most students are minorities, had even a meager 50 percent passing rate. That in itself is a big story, but the bigger story here is that of the 46 schools, 23 were charters. Of course, the United Federation of Teachers and UFT-funded parent groups are screaming foul.
