Libya mulls international help as
militias destroy Tripoli airport

Agence France-Presse, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 7/15/2014 7:19:12 AM

The Libyan government has said it was considering calling for international forces to help re-establish security, after a flare-up of violence in the capital Tripoli. "The government is looking into the possibility of making an appeal for international forces on the ground to re-establish security and help the government impose its authority," a government spokesman said in a statement. It also said the forces would help protect civilians and prevent anarchy. The statement comes after deadly clashes Sunday with armed groups led to the closing of the main international airport in Tripoli, which has come under rocket fire.

Comments:
Notice the Libyans are not bothering to ask the US directly. I think they´re waiting for the conclusion of the air strikes on ISIS in Iraq that Obama was mumbling about a couple of weeks ago. /s

First hand evidence of a foreign policy where you lead from behind. I don´t give a crap about the color of his skin obama is a first class fool. Not only is he destroying our country he is single-handedly destroying the Middle East. But like the GOP establishment says no need for impeachment. Nah what good would that do?

FTA: Western powers fear chaos in Libya will allow arms and militants to flow across its borders. The south of the vast desert country has become a haven for Islamist militants kicked out of Mali by French forces earlier this year.

Odd that Obama didn´t mention this risk when he personally decided to go to start his war with Libya. Obama only told Congressional leaders of his war plans an hour before flying off to Rio for a yet another vacay with wife, mother in law and the kids. Obama´s 6 month war against the Qaddaffi government was never authorized by Congress and violated the War Powers Act designed to prevent such lawlessness. Obama´s leading with his head up his behind war ended in failure, which is why he never mentions Libya.

Perhaps Hillary will do an encore performance of her paraphrase of Caesar: "We came, we saw, we killed him" on the slaughtered Qadaffi.

Obama´s actions in Libya were planned and controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood from within the White House. How have we let this treason go on for six years?

It is past time to act.

Opposition to cease-fire comes
from across political spectrum

Murmurs of dissatisfaction rose from the political Left and Right Tuesday night, after Israel agreed to a cease-fire. Meanwhile, Eshkol Regional Council chairman Haim Yellin indicated that he does not trust the cease-fire will last, saying residents of his constituency who evacuated should not return to their homes. "It doesn´t interest me what the government or Hamas say. I will only call on residents to return when I feel like there´s a real cease-fire," Yellin told Channel 10 news. [Snip] Just as half of the cabinet ministers were opposed to the cease-fire, many in the coalition expressed similar opinions.

An Egyptian-brokered ceasefire began at 7 p.m. (16:00 GMT) today (Tuesday), after being officially accepted by the Israeli government just minutes before. [Snip] But despite the declarations terrorists in Gaza continued to launch rocket and mortar attacks even after the ceasefire took effect. At approximately 7:05 p.m. Red Alert sirens sounded in the Gaza Belt region, followed by yet more sirens minutes later. At 7:15 p.m. more rocket sirens were sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council area, indicating a further breach of the declared ceasefire. Since then, however, there have been no further reports of rocket attacks.

Labour Member of Parliament Yasmin Qureshi has caused outrage after comparing the idea of young British Muslims joining ISIS to the idea of young Jewish Britons joining the Israel Defence Forces. Qureshi, who has previously had to apologise for offence caused by comparing the situation in Gaza to the Holocaust, also claimed that most British Muslims going to Iraq and Syria were going for "humanitarian reasons" in a bizarre Sky News interview yesterday. She said: "From my understand [sic], most have gone to actually help people so its been humanitarian work. We understand now from some the [sic] intelligence services giving

If a retired tyrant chose to write a guidebook entitled “How to be an Arab Dictator”, what would be the most important lesson? It might be summarised thus: “When you are in trouble, fan the flames of Islamist extremism so that your enemies will look even worse than you.” [Snip] The rise of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) has apparently convinced the likes of Lord Dannatt, a former Army commander, and Sir Christopher Meyer, once our Ambassador in Washington, that we must reach an accommodation with Assad in order to suppress a common threat.

Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have been accused of launching air strikes against Islamist targets in Libya--a move which would prove to be a major regional escalation in what is fast becoming a battle between the Arab old guard and the rampant forces of political Islam. Iran yesterday upped the stakes in the Middle East crisis by pledging to speed up arming Palestinians to launch strikes on Israel. Tehran said it would “accelerate” its support for Hamas with weapons and missile-building technology after Israel allegedly deployed a spy drone over Iran. General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, said: “We will accelerate the arming of the West Bank and we reserve the right to give any response.” Iran has confirmed it supplied fighters from Hamas and the Islamic Jihad with the technology for the rockets being fired relentlessly into Israel from Gaza since July 8.

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology has been caught red-handed manipulating temperature data to show "global warming" where none actually exists. At Amberley, Queensland, for example, the data at a weather station showing 1 degree Celsius cooling per century was "homogenized" (adjusted) by the Bureau so that it instead showed a 2.5 degrees warming per century. At Rutherglen, Victoria, a cooling trend of -0.35 degrees C per century was magically transformed at the stroke of an Australian meteorologist´s pen into a warming trend of 1.73 degrees C per century. Last year, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology made headlines in the liberal media by claiming

Two people were killed as two mosques and the Rafah border crossing were targeted, Palestinian officials said. Meanwhile, efforts have been stepped up to end the six weeks of fighting that have left more than 2,100 people dead. Democrat Michelle Nunn is running ahead of David Perdue in the race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. The WSB-TV poll found that Mrs. Nunn has 47 percent to 40 percent edge over Mr. Perdue. The libertarian candidate, Amanda Swafford, received 3 percent, and 10 percent of the respondents were undecided. The winner of the race will replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Mrs. Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, is seen as one of Democrats best bets to flip control of a GOP-held seat. Republicans need to flip six seats to win back the Senate.

American black people are being lied to and the lies destroy them. They are being lied to by corrupt people like Attorney General Eric Holder and Al Sharpton Jr. and Jesse Jackson and the leftists in our news media. They are being told that their poverty is due to prejudice and that the police are targeting them out of bigotry. They are being told that the dreadful existence of slum life grew out of slavery and is being perpetuated by hatred. None of this is true. FERGUSON, Mo. — It was 1 a.m. and Michael Brown Jr. called his father, his voice trembling. He had seen something overpowering. In the thick gray clouds that lingered from a passing storm this past June, he made out an angel. And he saw Satan chasing the angel and the angel running into the face of God. Mr. Brown was a prankster, so his father and stepmother chuckled at first. “No, no, Dad! When a federal appeals court ruled last month that a seemingly arcane wording flaw in the Affordable Care Act should invalidate a central part of the law, many of those who drafted the statute five years ago reacted with shock and anger. In 2009, they had spent months piecing together a compromise that sought to create a national system of subsidized insurance — but one run by the states. Now, they fear their work could be undone by what some call a "drafting error" and others portray as a political miscalculation. The judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for
