Feds Retreat After Maryland Residents
Fight Plan to Dump Illegals

Breitbart Big Government, by Tony Lee

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 7/15/2014 6:31:44 AM

Protests from local elected officials in Maryland this weekend forced the Health and Human Services Department (HHS) to cancel its plans to send illegal immigrant children to an Army Reserve center in Westminster, which is about 35 miles from Baltimore. Maryland Democrat Gov. Martin O´Malley said illegal immigrant children flooding across the border should be considered "refugees" and all be given asylum status, but after Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) publicized the federal government´s last-minute plans to sneak illegal immigrant children into Maryland, there was considerable blowback. HHS backed off, citing things like insufficient access to drinking water at the facility.

Good for Maryland! And they´re not ´children´, but young adults, mainly gang members.

Meanwhile, the governor of ma says there is nothing he or the people of ma can do but submit to obama. We, so far, have had at least 5 plane loads of illegals dumped in this state. One school district is noticing an increase in tall, gray-haired, whiskered "children" signing up for school in the fall.

As for MA, #2 is correct about the MiniMe guy, but with luck, maybe more of the people might wake up.

Maryland elected this elite leftist boob so now they get to deal with him and the consequences of his thinking and policies. The smarty pants left is unwittingly educating folks as to the real world consequences of implementing their utopian blather. Keep it up, Gov!

The county where this happened is a conservative county, of course. The illegals would not have been sent there if it was a leftist area. Maryland, like many other states, is largely conservative. It´s the lofo´s, ethnic types and leftists in Baltimore that overwhelm the rest of the state. Voter fraud is an issue too - Pelosi´s father was mayor of Baltimore with lots of mafia connections. Corruption was his middle name.

Maryland is two states, the I-95 corridor anchored by Baltimore and DC, and the rest of the state. Our primary industry is government. The state is very near minority-majority demographics. The good news is O´Malley´s "successor" may be in trouble. Perhaps he took campaigning lessons from Kathleen KENNEDY Townsend. Expect the race card to play as he would be Maryland´s first black governor. BTW: People and wealth are leaving, redistributing to PA, DE and VA.

But the leaders of the Aquinnah Wampanoags, the federally recognized American Indian tribe whose ancestors first inhabited the island, envision a new destination. They´ve proposed transforming an unfinished tribal community center a few miles inland into a high-stakes bingo and poker hall filled with electronic betting machines. The idea horrifies some long-term visitors, residents and even tribal members, who see it as incongruous with the

According to the New York Times national editor who helped put together today’s piece about Michael Brown’s final weeks, there was some missing context in the outrage that has surrounded the line that calls the slain teenager “no angel.” As Alison Mitchell noted in a conversation with the Washington Post’s Erik Wemple, the words were a call back to the story’s lead, which mentioned Brown sighting an angel in storm clouds passing above his head. Below is the passage that has drawn sharp criticism Monday: Michael Brown, 18, due to be buried on Monday, was no angel, with public records
