Behind the scenes at the

New York Post, by Geoff Earle

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

The Clintons never met a political stunt they didn´t like. How about them walking on the beach holding hands or the rocks that appeared out of no where ,so Bubba could make a cross out of them. Consulting Jesse Jackson after the Mona scandal worked great also.

Until the Clinton caused Waco familycide is brought out in the air again, the child deaths in Oklahoma, the 125 plus deaths of associates of Bill and Hilary, until all that grotesque reality returns to the popular press, none of this other mild mannered stuff has any meaning at all. It is all a distraction.

The only exit strategy for the Obama praising Communist TV media and press, is to distract with meaningless stories of the
Clinton´s frightening Vince Foster death, financial fraud, America betraying, impeachment, history. It won´t work.

REALLY dislike Hillary, but can see why she has Richardson on the s--- list! What is most worrisome, however, is that Elizabeth Warren is chugging up behind, to take Hillary´s place if she fails, and once again the Press is not being honest. Watched Morning Joe today and Warren was represented as NOT far left (which she is to the point of falling off the world) but also a paragon (who listed herself as a minority to get Ivy League hires, represented the tobacco companies and other giants she now decries, and practiced law (and collected fees) in Mass. without a license. Israel’s mood at the start of this war with Hamas was one of confident assurance. We wouldn’t be deterred by the rocket threat, and Hamas would be contained. That’s utterly changed. The rockets turned out to be the least of our concerns. And the national mood now is a mixture of anguish at the growing toll of IDF dead, anger at the feckless response of parts of the international community — notably the US — and confidence in the troops and (atypically) the political leadership. To lose the lives of 30 Israelis to terrorism is, appallingly, nothing new in a country

When writing about politics, it´s all too frequent to use terminology that often obscures more than elucidates. That´s especially true when it comes to the word "wave"—shorthand for a landslide victory for the winning party. I´ve argued before that the likelihood of 2014 being a wave election has been rising, given the president´s consistently low approval ratings and the fact that Republicans are running evenly on the generic ballot (which usually translates into a clear GOP edge) and that the right-track/wrong-track numbers are near historic lows. All these big-picture signs are ominous for the party in power. But this week, The
