Behind the scenes at the
Clinton White House

New York Post, by Geoff Earle

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

The Clintons never met a political stunt they didn´t like. How about them walking on the beach holding hands or the rocks that appeared out of no where ,so Bubba could make a cross out of them. Consulting Jesse Jackson after the Mona scandal worked great also.

REALLY dislike Hillary, but can see why she has Richardson on the s--- list! What is most worrisome, however, is that Elizabeth Warren is chugging up behind, to take Hillary´s place if she fails, and once again the Press is not being honest. Watched Morning Joe today and Warren was represented as NOT far left (which she is to the point of falling off the world) but also a paragon (who listed herself as a minority to get Ivy League hires, represented the tobacco companies and other giants she now decries, and practiced law (and collected fees) in Mass. without a license. NON OF IT MENTIONED!

Just before American journalist Steven Sotloff was abducted in Syria, his fixer’s identity may have been compromised. Editor´s Note: ISIS claims to have executed Steven Sotloff on September 2, in a videotaped beheading. When pro-regime and anti-government factions started killing each other in the 8,000-year-old Syrian city of Aleppo, a little town in Turkey called Kilis blossomed into relevance at their expense. Located just four miles north of the Syrian border, Kilis became a vital crossing point in and out of a rapidly devolving war. As a feisty state senator with pink sneakers and a fist in the air, Wendy Davis captured both the love and the ire of America last year when she pulled an 11-hour filibuster of anti-abortion measures in the Texas Capitol. But after using that star power to win her party´s nomination for governor, Davis is still struggling to take a lead over Republican Attorney General Greg Abbott, and some say party confidence in her race is waning. Democrats are bullish about their opportunity to win the governor´s mansion in Kansas and Republicans have sent staffers out to Hawaii for what they view as a promising opportunity to turn the state red. Those statements may seem surprising given both states´ political leanings—but they´re a testament to the fact that the 2014 gubernatorial map has shifted considerably in recent months, a new reality that may cause both parties to move resources to places they never expected at the beginning of the year. Unlike the 2014 Senate map, which has remained relatively static over the course of the cycle, the

Between 1970 and 1990, the population of Philadelphia shrank by a quarter, dropping from 1.95 to 1.59 million. Like many American cities, it seemed caught in a downward spiral. Since then – like many American cities – Philadelphia has stabilized. The population now appears to have bottomed out at the millennium, and has been regaining residents over the past decade. In the two most recent decades, which comprise the bounce of the city’s population curve, owner-occupied housing dropped even more steeply than in the ’70s and ’80s. Between 2000 and
