Hit song about ´death train´ called
The Beast that has killed thousands
of Central American illegal migrants
was propaganda made by the US

Daily Mail [UK], by Joel Christie

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 7/15/2014 4:14:00 AM

The U.S. government´s latest attempt to stop illegal immigrants crossing the border comes via the radio. As part of a new multi-million dollar ´Dangers Awareness Campaign´, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection campaign commissioned a catchy Spanish song to be written and produced to discourage families in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador from sending their children with smugglers to cross the U.S. border through Mexico. That song--La Bestia--has subsequently become a major radio hit in Central America, with its legion of fans unaware it was created to ´teach´ them something. La Bestia--translated as ´The Beast´--refers to the notoriously dangerous freight

Comments:
Obama´s changed his mind and ordered this song and other propaganda? Why now? Why not last year when the surge became obvious? Does he now have enough likely future Dem voters in the US? Or is this just a further example of his customary flip-flopping? It´ll be interesting to see what else comes down the pike now that he´s on a long vacation--again.

Of course the simple solution is to secure the border. No need for catchy tunes or PSA´s. Obama´s government has purposefully relinquished sovereignty of this country to promote their progressive ideology. Obama and his sidekick, Holder, cooked up this cockamamie scheme and should be prosecuted for failing to uphold their oath of office.

So, the America haters at the Daily Mail crow that a "hit song"n American has "killed thousands of Central American illegal immigrants."

That is possibly the most mendacious and nasty headline written in living memory. Riding on top of trains is manifestly dangerous, and that fact is not the fault of the United States in any form or fashion.

Mark Steyn has published his latest brief in his protracted court case with discredited climate scientist Michael Mann (who is suing him for libel) and it´s a corker. Here´s a sample: The audacity of the falsehoods in Mann´s court pleadings is breathtaking. For example, on page 19 of his brief below dated January 18, 2013, he cites the international panel chaired by the eminent scientist Lord Oxburgh, FRS as one of the bodies that "exonerated" him, whereas on page 235 of Mann´s own book, The Hockey Stick and the Climate Wars, he states explicitly that "our own work did not

EU foreign ministers are holding an emergency meeting in Brussels on Friday to discuss plans to arm Iraq´s Kurds against an extremist insurgency. France and the US have already begun to supply weapons to the Kurds, whose Peshmerga fighters are trying to halt an advance by Islamic State militants. On Thursday, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki resigned and conceded power to Haider al-Abadi, Iraq´s deputy speaker. Meanwhile, the governor of Dohuk province has warned of a "genocide". Terror group Boko Haram are feared to have abducted almost 100 boys and men in a raid on a village in Nigeria, just months after the militants captured more than 200 schoolgirls. Witnesses said fighters loaded their captives onto trucks before driving away from the remote area in the northeast of the west African country. The bloodthirsty extremists, who aim to reinstate a medieval Islamic caliphate in religiously mixed Nigeria, are likely to have kidnapped the boys in order to force them to fight. Barack Obama is playing a dangerous game of semantics with the America people right now, promising that there will be "no boots on the ground" in Iraq even as teams of "advisers" (including US Marines) yesterday landed for the first time on Mt Sinjar. Chuck Hagel, the US defence secretary was "crystal" on this point last week, telling reporters that "under no circumstances would he [Mr Obama] be sending American troops, boots on the ground, back into combat in Iraq". The UK would "consider favourably" any request for arms from the Kurds in their battle with extremists in Iraq, the foreign secretary has confirmed. Philip Hammond described militant group Islamic State (IS), which is fighting the Kurds and has seized large parts of northern Iraq, as a "terrible threat". It is understood the UK has not been formally asked for direct help. The issue is the subject of a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels and the government´s emergency committee. WASHINGTON--The Obama administration denied on Thursday that it was surprised by the processing of a munitions delivery by the Pentagon to Israel during its operation in Gaza last month. Without issuing a full-throated denial of a report that the White House issued a halt on the delivery of Hellfire missiles, administration officials said the claims, first surfacing in the Wall Street Journal, were a mischaracterization of inter-agency procedure, and of a policy unchanged. Shocking accounts of medieval brutality — including video of kneeling Iraqis being gunned down, a Twitter image of a young jihadist holding a severed head and threats by ISIS to take its savagery to the White House — have prompted desperate calls for the international community to stop the fanatical Islamic group. The first-in-the-nation legislation already passed California’s state Senate by a vote of 27-4 in May, The Associated Press reports. The bill, which is based on guidance from the Obama administration, requires an “affirmative consent standard” that school administrators would use to determine whether a sexual assault has occurred. Liberals like Chris Mooney of Mother Jones agree that today’s Republican party is “environmental[ly] retrograde,” but often acknowledge it wasn’t like that a few decades ago. For example, as Mooney noted in a Tuesday post, a GOP president, Richard Nixon, established the EPA. Mooney reports, however, that in the early 1990s the party as a whole grew distinctly more hostile towards environmentalism. He touches on several possible explanations, including a backlash against the newly elected vice president, Earth in the Balance author Al Gore, as well as a theory that after the Soviet Union collapsed, environmentalists succeeded Communists as major objects
