The U.S. deported Honduran children as young as 1-1/2 years old on Monday in the first flight since President Obama pledged to speed up the process of sending back illegal immigrant minors from Central America. Fleeing violence and poverty, record numbers of children from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala have crossed into the United States over the past year, sparking intense debate about how to solve the problem. Monday´s flight from New Mexico to San Pedro Sula, the city with the highest murder rate in the world, returned 17 Honduran women, as well as 12 girls and nine boys, aged

There is no doubt Obama was complicit in this from the beginning and this small gesture is just an attempt to quiet the reaction.Nice try.You can count on serious long term consequences for what this guy has done. And we we have another couple of years of him to put up with.God help us.

It would seem to me that teen males with any kind of gang tats or gang affiliation should be immediately returned and not allowed to mingle with any other illegals. The lockdown Obama has on information at these centers should alarm anyone. When I see the few pictures that are being made available the majority look to be young males. Obama should call these countries and tell them all aid to them will cease until they stop dumping their citizens on U.S. soil. This crisis is Obama´s making and he is once again, failing to accept responsibility.

Giant military transport planes on standby, a taco stand, bottles of water and Adios is what is needed. If they were coming for freedom and planning to vote Republican they would have a fast train out of here waiting at the border.

Wouldn´t it make more sense to refuse the incoming planes permission to disembark? Just fuel them up and send them back, fully loaded. Problem solved with a lot less expense to the American taxpayer!! Follow that with a revocation of the landing permit for any plane bringing ILLEGALS to the United States, and charge the airline with criminal activity, period!

Here is an idea. Give all "undocumented" people 180 days to report to authorities. At which time if they have no criminal record, on payment of a $1000 fine, they will be given an orange card legalizing their stay with permission to indefinitely work in the US. Orange card makes it incumbent on you to keep working. One year w/o and you are out (shades of Johnny Cochran?). Five years straight and the orange card turns to green, but NEVER to citizenship.
After 180 days, you are Sheriff Joe´s property. IMO 99% will accept the deal. Only holdout will be Chucky Schumer.

#16, look at the second last sentence. It is a hard labor camp and deportation after 180 day. That and the incentive of an orange card and you will be surprised how many show up. The trouble is there is no stick in the current options only arguments are about the sizes of the carrots.

Seems that this ALL fits in. I had expected the Dems to pull out all the stops, to find anyway to change the vote this fall. They ONLY have a couple of months to do it.

The story left something out. The 39 illegals were being flown back to Honduras because they forgot one of their kids! They´ll be back on the next flight with all of them.

I remember a guy who used to catch and release a fish at a lake in Kentucky. He got tired of catching the same damn fish every week. Seems the old fish got used to taking the bait and getting put back. One day he just cooked him for dinner.

Time to photographer & fingerprint the illegals and ship ´em home! If it was good enough for Elain Gonzales, it´s good enough for these kids. Reunite them with their families --- in the country they came from.

While it may reject Israel’s existence, Hamas certainly agrees with Prime MInister Binyamin Netanyahu--and disagrees with the US State Department--that its “ultimate goal” is to establish an “Islamic state” (caliphate) over what it sees as the “occupied lands of Palestine.” In short, while the US disputes PM Netanyahu’s statement that “Hamas is ISIS, and ISIS is Hamas”--Hamas itself does not. It appears an act of compassion led Thomas Eric Duncan to contract Ebola, and become the first patient diagnosed with the deadly disease on U.S. soil. What do you suppose is the biggest item in the budget of a working household? The mortgage? The car? The utility bills? Nope. Far greater than any of these--greater, indeed, than all of them combined--is the tax bill. Because taxation is generally deducted at source, we often fail to realise how much we’re paying. For most people, the only time when they must, so to speak, write a cheque to the taxman is when they pay council tax--which duly elicits disproportionate resentment. Consider the figures above. Uncharacteristically, I´m almost lost for words--or at least for critical words. David Cameron said pretty much everything I wanted him to say in his belter of a conference speech. And, most important, the idea that permitting people to live in permanent dependency was not just a waste of money, but a waste of life.

Pentagon officials are finding it difficult determining how effective US airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria are because of ´significant gaps in intelligence´. Senior current and former US officials have told the Associated Press that American aircraft are running under less restrictive rules than those governing drone strikes in Pakistan and Yemen. Despite this, they are having difficulties determining the effectiveness of the bombing missions targeting Al-Qaeda and ISIS due the lack of intelligence assets on the ground. These assets identify targets before an airstrike and conduct an after action battle damage assessment.

Former President Jimmy Carter claimed Wednesday that he would have been re-elected and beaten Ronald Reagan in 1980 if had been more “manly” in his dealings with Iran. Interviewed by the show "CNBC Meets," Carter repeated his belief that the failed mission to free American hostages held in Tehran killed his chances, but then added that had he gone to war, America would have rewarded him with a second term in 1980.

The Obama administration found itself scrambling on Tuesday to defend President Barack Obama for his lackluster 42% attendance record on daily intelligence briefings, a finding from a new report issued by the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI). When asked about the GAI revelation on Fox News, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki appeared flustered and unprepared. "Well, I have no validation of those statistics," said Psaki. "There are a range of ways that you can get your intelligence briefings on the road, in the White House, and I know that he receives those whenever he can."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notified the media at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday that Dallas has the first diagnosed Ebola case in the nation. The federal agency scheduled a media briefing at 5:30 p.m. from its headquarters in Atlanta. Dallas County officials are expected to participate. Dallas County went through a day-long anxiety attack Tuesday, waiting to hear if the first Ebola diagnosis in the nation would happen here. An unnamed patient at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas was placed in isolation while awaiting test results for the dreaded virus. Apparently, the patient had traveled recently to a

My last article for American Thinker was too long. And too short. Too long because the gurus tell us articles should be about 600 words. My story about the president talking to the black caucus about white people inflicting constant racial injustice on black people came in at 1500 words. I was just getting warmed up. I thought it strange that at the same time the president was trying to persuade us that black people are relentless victims, black people were committing acts of racial violence in places like Seattle, Miami, Indianapolis, Bronx, Ferguson, Kansas City, Providence, Minneapolis and 18 miles from where

Kansas Tea Party supporters are threatening to sit out the state’s pivotal Senate election, potentially dealing another blow to the reelection hopes of Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.). Though schisms within the GOP base rarely have such an outsized impact on a general election contest, the lack of support from the conservative base could be devastating to the vulnerable Roberts’s chances against surging independent Greg Orman. Multiple sources tell The Hill that a group of Tea Party leaders in the state are meeting Wednesday to try to decide whether they should go to bat for the incumbent this fall or sit out of

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. He also called potential candidates Ohio Gov. John

A white Ohio woman is suing a Downers Grove-based sperm bank, alleging that the company mistakenly gave her vials from an African-American donor, a fact that she said has made it difficult for her and her same-sex partner to raise their now 2-year-old daughter in an all-white community. Jennifer Cramblett, of Uniontown, Ohio, alleges in the lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court that Midwest Sperm Bank sent her the vials of an African-American donor´s sperm in September 2011 instead of those of a white donor that she and her white partner had ordered. After searching through pages of comprehensive

The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. Obama didn’t know anything and he never knew it. At least not until, like smuggling weapons to druglords, bugging journalists, IRSing his political enemies and killing vets, his right hand found out about what his left hand was doing from the morning paper. After skipping 58% of his daily intelligence briefings in Term 1 and 59% of them in Term 2, he went on 60 Minutes and blamed intelligence agencies for being
