The Conservatives Who Deserve Blame
for the Border Breakdown

American Thinker, by John T. Bennett

Original Article

The conservative commentators who advocated a “path to citizenship” after the 2012 election bear partial blame for the current wave of illegal immigrants from Central America. Many of those who advocated for amnesty following the 2012 election are now complaining that people indeed came expecting that amnesty. But there is also an unbelievably bad policy at the root of the problem. (snip)It is not ironic at all that that a law intended “to combat human trafficking” has facilitated human smuggling. It is not ironic because this is precisely the outcome we should expect from immigration policy designed by multicultural elites.

Border treason is an equal opportunity employer that pays politicians of every political ideology. The political class is not interested in borders, or even in a country. As long as they have power and money they don´t care where it comes from.

This article hit the nail right on the head. The Democrats are using mass uncontrolled illegal immigration as a massive future Democrat foreign born voter generating machine to transform America, and the Republicans only interest in immigration matters is to ensure that there is always a massive flow of cheap foreign labor coming into the country. If the Democrat long-term immigration plan succeeds it will be all down hill into political oblivion for the Republicans who will be unable to drum up enough votes to be elected to dog catcher in a lot of places in this country.

‘Sexting’ To C-SPAN Caller

Rep. James Clyburn, the third-ranking House Democrat, recently told a C-SPAN caller that “sexting” is an important tool for organizing voters. Clyburn seemed to confuse basic “texting” with “sexting” — which involves sending sexual messages or photos — during a Labor Day weekend appearance on C-SPAN to promote his new memoir. Clyburn, 74, told an anguished caller that Americans concerned about the Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin shootings should employ Twitter, Facebook and “sexting” to organize.

The Alaska U.S. Senate race has seen a “significant shift” in favor of Republican nominee Dan Sullivan, according to new polling data from The New York Times. Democratic freshman incumbent Mark Begich had been leading Sullivan, the state’s former attorney general and a former Bush administration official. But a disastrous ad campaign by Begich recently upended the race, and now, based on updated data from an online panel

Since winning a hard-fought primary against a tea party challenger, Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) seemed to rest on his laurels — failing to run any television advertising for the past month and returning to his home in Northern Virginia to recuperate after his victory. Now Roberts, 78, is the focus of an urgent political rescue operation led by the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which is deploying a veteran strategist and others to try to bolster his foundering campaign with less than nine weeks until the November election. The moves come in response to the sudden rise of Greg Orman, a

Does anyone actually believe this? I guess Kentucky Republicans who don’t pay attention to politics but who’ll end up deciding this year’s Senate race anyway do. God bless democracy. “We’re going to pass spending bills, and they’re going to have a lot of restrictions on the activities of the bureaucracy,” McConnell said in an interview aboard his campaign bus traveling through Western Kentucky coal country. “That’s something he won’t like, but that will be done. I guarantee it.”…

The Eight Grossest Reactions

Education reformer and former CNN host Campbell Brown has had to deal with a series of vile Twitter attack from teachers, trolls, and pornbots since launching her court challenge to teacher tenure. Esquire’s Charles P. Pierce set the tone for the debate when he posted a story headlined, “Who the Fck is Campbell Brown?” Pierce—a product of private, Catholic school—declared that her cadre of rightwing “mountebanks” and “grifters,” such as former Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs, are shilling for Wall Street. Pierce’s readers relied on public school language to voice their support for teachers unions and tenure.

Sen. Mitch McConnell´s wife, former Labor Secretary Elaine Chao, sits on the board of an organization that has been part of a campaign against the coal industry and against tobacco use. The anti-coal news, first reported by Yahoo News, comes as McConnell campaigns for re-election, in part by trying to tie his opponent, Alison Lundergan Grimes, to President Barack Obama and his so-called "war on coal." The Senate minority leader is the top recipient of coal industry campaign contributions, which total more than $179,000, according to Federal Election Commission data compiled by the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics. President Barack Obama has declined to attend a dedication ceremony in October for a new memorial honoring American veterans who have been disabled fighting for their country in wars, according to sources close to the event. The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial (AVDLM), the first such memorial of its kind, is set to be dedicated during a ceremony on Oct. 5 near the National Mall in downtown Washington, D.C. However, Obama, who was first invited to attend the event in January, will not be among those in attendance, according to a source who is familiar with the situation. This

First Lady Michelle Obama has made healthy eating and exercise her signature issue. But, a recent study published by the Sage Journal found that her “elitist” advice actually “shames poor and middle class mothers.” The College Fix added that the study found that Michelle Obama’s healthy eating program is also sexist. It’s also sexist, the study’s authors suggest, noting that “intentionally or not, it places the burden of a healthy home-cooked meal on women.” Sage Journals published the study by North Carolina researchers Sarah Bowen, Sinikka Elliott and Joslyn Brenton. President Barack Obama unveiled his plan to tackle the Ebola crisis in West Africa on Tuesday, promising to do far more to tackle the deadly virus he said could result in "hundreds of thousands of people infected" without US intervention. "More than 2,400 men, women, and children are known to have died and we strongly suspect that the actual death toll is higher than that," Obama said in a speech at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. "Hospitals, clinics, and the few treatment centers that do exist have been completely overwhelmed." The president was particularly dire

Democrats are now (very slightly) favored to hold the Senate majority on Nov. 4, according to Election Lab, the Post´s statistical model of the 2014 midterm elections. Election Lab puts Democrats´ chances of retaining their majority at 51 percent -- a huge change from even a few months ago when the model predicted that Republicans had a better than 80 percent chance of winning the six seats they need to take control. (Worth noting: When the model showed Republicans as overwhelming favorites, our model builders -- led by George Washington University´s John Sides -- warned that the model could and

Those pushing to have more states legalize marijuana consider this drug rather harmless, medically beneficial and liberal politicians consider this issue one that will attract voters. I don´t blame Rubio for not discussing whether he indulged n his youth or not. He is a public official with young children and carries a different responsibility than the rest of us. The New York Democrat said she was enraged when the politician had the gall to tell her she was too fat to win election after giving birth to her second child. “I had to just sit there and talk to him,” Gillibrand said in the interview, posted on the Huffington Post. “I switched the subject and I didn’t hear another word he said, but I wasn’t in a place where I could tell him to go f–k himself.”
