Murrieta: City of Hate?
Or Home of the New Revolution?

Canada Free Press, by Douglas V. Gibbs

The illegal immigration protests in Murrieta, for the most part, have come to an end. The federal government backed down, deciding not to send bus loads of diseased migrants into our community anymore. Now, they are shipping them to local churches, and border patrol facilities in other States. We have decided to protest that, too, when we can, beginning with the 46 illegal aliens who entered the USA via Texas arriving at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fontana, Calfornia, on July 10, 2014. A number of rallies challenging the federal government’s decision to keep the border wide open are planned at that

I lived in Murrieta for about 5 years in the late 1990´s and they are definitely not a city of hate. The people are caring people who are involved in the governing of their city. They are law-abiding and a city of laws. Why would any city welcome law breakers who only want to loot the city´s coffers.

Why should any community be forced to take in criminals and the diseased and to pay for medical care and criminal activity? Cities, counties, states are cash strapped already. Tell the feds to up theirs. There is still such a thing as state rights. Oh, I forgot, most of the states have already given them up to the feds.

In the 1946 Fred Capra film It’s a Wonderful Life, Jimmy Stewart plays the part of George Bailey whose life challenges–legal, financial, personal–seem so overwhelming that he believes it would be better if he’d never been born. An angel named Clarence shows him what a world without George would look like. George realizes that he has affected the world in countless positive ways, and a world without him would be dark, hopeless and cruel. I wonder if the world is currently having an It’s a Wonderful Life experience. There have always been challenges on the world stage and it was fashionable

With Barack Obama now firmly in place as their ex officio leader, the United Nations pooh-bahs have come up with a surefire way to stick it to the taxpayers of the world, while feathering their nests for all time. It’s called making global warming/climate change a health issue at their very next summit in November 2015. Christiana Figueres, the top UN climate official, said upcoming negotiations on an international global warming accord should be viewed as a health issue. “The logic behind the comment from Christiana Figueres, the U.N. climate chief, is that older, dirtier forms of energy are likely the first to

The digital jihadists who came up with a new social networks campaign in a desperate attempt “to ratchet up pressure on U.S. President Barack Obama”, are headed in the same direction Mrs. Barack Obama ended up in when she tried the same thing on ISIS Boko Haram pals with her epic fail #BringBackOurGirls hashtag: Nowhere. “The ISIS militants want Obama to respond to their threats to execute American captive journalist Steven Sotloff. The brutal Islamic State (IS) terrorists, who wanted Aafia Siddiqui aka ‘Lady al-Qaeda’ swapped for decapitated photojournalist James Foley, are merely the latest in a long line of fanatics seeking the release of a woman caught redhanded in Afghanistan with detailed plans on how to kill the masses by spreading Ebola, and with dirty bombs and chemical weapons that would somehow spare children while killing off adults. The British mainstream media, in another era called the scribes of the ‘Penny Dreadfuls’ continue to go to great lengths to romanticize brutal terrorists who slaughter and maim innocents in their demented mission for world takeover through Caliphate. First came “White Widow, 30-year-old Samantha Lewthwaite, who is believed to have fled Kenya to Somalia after the Nairobi shopping mall massacre in September of 2013. The “British accent” of the Islamic State beast who brutally beheaded American photojournalist James Wright Foley serves as the defining moment in the scourge of radical Islamic terrorism. That defining moment underlines in blood how Western leaders who allow the flow of terrorists across their borders have relinquished the safety of their own citizens for convenience, cowardice and political expediency. Western leaders like President Barack Hussein Obama and Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron do not do the jobs they were sworn in to do in protecting their citizens. They only make speeches and go on vacations. The mainstream media doesn’t question negligent Western

Sometime today the 53-year-old playboy president of the United States will be heading back to D.C. for a mission which the mainstream media describes as “mysterious”. No one seem to know why he’s temporarily back in town for two days mid-holiday, and Barack Hussein Obama isn’t saying. In the face of the open fact that transparency is a broken Obama administration promise, today should go down as ‘Skulk Sunday’. Even as surrealistic as the BHO administration is, why should any president be making a return in stealth to Washington in the middle of another one of his too many lavish holidays?

In 1991 – several years after my conversion to Christianity and well into my own life as a husband and father – every Saturday morning, my two youngest children would drag me out of bed to watch cartoons with them. I would quietly sit on the sofa, wiping the sleep from my eyes, while Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny did their thing. One particular Saturday morning, the cartoons were regularly interrupted with updates on the Gulf War. My oldest son, Travis, was a Marine on a big gunboat in the Persian Gulf – so we would listen carefully, wanting to know

Since that night, her life has changed in ways she could not have imagined. Statins block the synthesis of cholesterol, a naturally-occurring substance that is found in every cell in your body. They commonly are prescribed to treat and prevent cardiovascular disease, or CVD, a condition in which the arteries are occluded by plaque which consists of (among other things) cholesterol. Stories about the Gaza war have headlines like “Israel Resumes Gaza Strikes After Cease-Fire Lull - ABC News” or BBC News - Gaza conflict: UN accuses Israel over Jabaliya attack. In fact, a scan of the headlines suggest that Israel was and is the aggressor, while Hamas was minding its own business and only defending itself. This, of

The world has changed dramatically since Senator Barack Hussein Obama took office in 2009 and turned it upside down. That change was the only thing real in what was to be Obama’s hedonistic Hollywood world. The hope promised in the millions of posters circulated worldwide died an undignified death the day they tore down the DNC’s phony Greek columns at the Denver Pepsi Center never to return. Nowhere is the death of Obama hope more blatantly obvious than at the top of Sinjar Mountain, in Iraq, where 40,000 Yazidis, 25,000 of whom are children are left stranded, having been driven there

On TV, incompetence is funny, sometimes hilarious. Jackie Gleason made a career of it on the old “Honeymooners” show; Tom Haverford is absurdly incapable on “Parks and Recreation”; and Michael Scott brought the Peter Principle to new heights in “The Office.” But in real life, incompetence can be dangerous, even life-threatening (think a real-life Homer Simpson actually in charge of safety at a nuclear power plant). That’s where America finds itself nearly six years into the presidency of Barack Obama. There’s no question Mr. Obama has all but checked out. There’s just no way to explain the president’s decision to

Some time ago I contrasted the reaction a conservative would get if he were in the same room with the two most consequential politicians of the 1990s, Bill Clinton and Rudy Giuliani. If you were in a room with Bill Clinton, he would discover the one issue out of 100 on which you agreed; he would probe you with questions, comments, suggestions; and he would tell you that you enabled him to understand it far better than he ever had before. Because I am a black conservative, someone wrote asking me this great question. “What is it that compels some black men and women to cling to, and follow people like Sharpton, Jackson, Wright, Obama, Spike Lee, Black Panthers, Holder, etc.?” I have pondered the same question. Some black folks embrace victim status because it provides cover for their laziness and irresponsible lifestyles. Black Judases preach a false, evil gospel of victimhood-ism for profit. Some blacks are racist, pure and simple. I believe that a majority of black Americans simply have not been exposed to unfiltered conservatism – to blacks articulating how blessed they

The federal government is still seeking answers as to why the majority of lesbians are obese and U.S. taxpayers are footing the bill, which now totals $2.87 million. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) study is now in its fourth year, receiving an additional $670,567 for fiscal year 2014. The project seeks to determine why “nearly three-quarters of adult lesbians overweight or obese,” and why gay males are not. In just two years the project’s budget has nearly doubled, growing from $1.5 million to nearly $3 million today, despite fears that sequestration could jeopardize the project and other NIH funding. I guess he really was multitasking out on the golf course. The President’s team has been hard at work behind the scenes, coming up with a strategy … well, maybe we should say plan, to address the nation’s many challenges. Spurred by President Obama’s climate action plan, the Department of Energy is pumping out new standards for refrigerators, dishwashers, air conditioners, ceiling fans, furnaces, boilers, water heaters, lamps and many more appliances. The administration says the standards will not only help the planet but also stimulate the economy by saving consumers money on their energy bills that they can spend elsewhere. After what

Between 1970 and 1990, the population of Philadelphia shrank by a quarter, dropping from 1.95 to 1.59 million. Like many American cities, it seemed caught in a downward spiral. Since then – like many American cities – Philadelphia has stabilized. The population now appears to have bottomed out at the millennium, and has been regaining residents over the past decade. But as it rebounds, Philly is becoming a different kind of city. In the two most recent decades, which comprise the bounce of the city’s population curve, owner-occupied housing dropped even more steeply than in the ’70s and ’80s. Between 2000 and

Short of world war, it’s rare that a chief executive goes through a foreign policy month like President Obama’s August. U.S. warplanes struck in Iraq for the first time in years, as U.S. diplomats struggled to establish a new government in Baghdad. Islamic State militants beheaded an American journalist in Syria and spread their reach across the Middle East. War raged between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. In Afghanistan, U.S. plans for an orderly exit at the end of the year teetered on the brink of disaster. Russia all but invaded Ukraine and dared Obama to stop it. Libya descended
