Why Hasn’t Bowe Bergdahl Seen or

Mediaite, by Matt Wilstein

Earlier today came news that Bowe Bergdahl, who was released by the Taliban after five years in captivity, will be returning to active duty with the U.S. Army this week. Now, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal, we learn that Bergdahl has refused to see or speak to his parents since his release six weeks ago. An army official reportedly told the Journal that Bergdahl has refused to see his parents in person or even speak to them on the phone, suggesting “a deeper estrangement between the soldier and his parents than the military understood when he was

Comments:
That certainly is a good question! Maybe they didn´t want that weird father speaking out to the press. The regime has no desire for anything to leak out regarding the traitor Bergdahl.

His father told him to follow his conscious resulting in 5 years of arguable captivity.

Not sure I´d want to talk to him either.

#2, another possibility is that he´s ticked at his parents for getting Obama to trade the 5 top terrorists for him... he probably wanted to stay where he was, not to return to the US and the Army.

Whether he sees or talks to his parents seems to be his decision and not the Army´s. He wasn´t living with them when he joined the Army and from the little we know it seems there might have been problems then. Not our business anyway. Things are not always how they appear to be.

I imagine it´s the Military officials who have kept parents and loved ones at bay because of ll the controversy regarding his release -- I´ll assume once he´s reintegrated back into society/work that´s when he and family can have contact.

At a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in New York Friday, President Obama attributed people´s pervasive sense the world is falling apart to “social media.” “The world’s always been messy… we’re just noticing now in part because of social media,” Obama said. “I can see why a lot of folks are troubled,” he said. But American military superiority has never been greater, he added, according to a pool report. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that President Obama may postpone his sweeping executive actions on immigration until after the midterm elections. Why? Because Democrats are begging him to: The two-step plan would bow to the concerns of Democratic lawmakers running in Republican-leaning states who have expressed opposition to Obama’s plans to act unilaterally on the hot-button issue. Some Democratic senators have said he should wait for Congress to pass legislation. Wait. Why would they want to do that? Aren’t the policies Obama is proposing on immigration wildly popular? That’s what they keep telling us, anyway. “I promise you, the American people

Without referring to Rice by name, he acknowledged in his letter that he made the wrong decision in that case. “I didn’t get it right. Simply put, we have to do better. And we will,” he

Sometimes voter-fraud deniers are forced to discuss the truth of voter fraud. This happened today at the Washington Post (“Fairfax officials say some people may have crossed Va.-Md. line to vote twice in 2012“). While the Post deserves credit from emerging from its cocoon of voter-fraud denial, it deserves scorn for bungling the emergence. Reporter Susan Svrluga notes that “tens of thousands of voters” were registered to cast ballots in both Virginia and Maryland. That’s true, and it is a big problem nationwide. Hundreds of thousands of people are registered to vote in multiple states, and many of them have voted. It

The latest Gallup poll on President Obama job performance is out. At the top line, things could be worse for the president and his party. 44 percent approve of his performance, while 53 percent disapprove. That’s considerably worse than in the run-up to the 2010 election, and certainly cause for concern among Democrats. But Dems won’t be surprised by this split which, as I said, could be worse. The intensity numbers, however, are terrible for Obama and the Dems. 39 percent of Americans (essentially 2 in 5) say they strongly disapprove of the president’s performance. Only 17 percent say they strongly approve.
