WASHINGTON – Bowe Bergdahl, the Army sergeant who spent nearly five years as a Taliban captive in Afghanistan, was returned to regular Army duty Monday and will be made available to Army investigators for questioning about his disappearance in 2009. In a brief statement, the Army said Bergdahl is now assigned to U.S. Army North at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston in Texas, the same base where he has been decompressing from the effects of his lengthy captivity. His exact duties were not immediately disclosed. The Army said that in his assignment to U.S. Army North he "can contribute

MEANWHILE, honorable active military soldiers have received Pink Slips.

Outrageous.

I´m so ticked off right now, I could scream.

Bergdahl is the type of soldier that Obama wants in the military. Birds of a feather.

I hope this wakes up more Americans!

The REMFS have taken over. The aim seems to be to destroy the finest fighting force history has ever seen. Won´t work they can´t get rid of enough E6´s, E7´s and E8´s.
If we could come back after Viet Nam the core will still be there waiting to burn through. They will lose -- big time!

CROWDSOURCING REQUEST – Located within this inital media feed video of the Ferguson shooting various rumors and speculations can be dispelled: 1. The Reporter outlines how several (5 or 6) shots were fired after the arrival of the media. Hence the initial problem for the Police securing, and processing, the crime scene. This was part of the delay in morgue body recovery. 2. Clearly you can see Officer Darren Wilson’s POLICE SUV being removed by flatbed tow truck as it was evidence in the shooting. 3. PHOENIX — State treasurer and former ice cream chain CEO Doug Ducey campaigned from the middle and the far right, deftly gaining support from the business community and tea party supporters in his bid to win the Republican primary for Arizona governor. Now the victor will need to unite a party fractured by a bitter six-way primary and move back to the middle if he is to defeat a moderate Democrat in the November general election. Ducey rode to an easy victory with a campaign that focused on his blend of government and business experience in serving as a state official

The hormone erythropoietin (EPO) could prevent brain injuries in very premature babies, a study suggests. Brain scans show EPO - used illegally by athletes to boost performance - may help infants when given after birth. The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, involved almost 500 babies born between 26 and 31 weeks in Switzerland. The researchers are calling for wider trials of the hormone, which is already given to some babies to treat anaemia. Erythropoietin is a hormone that stimulates production of red blood cells.

Billionaire Warren Buffett was an ally of President Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign and the force behind Obama’s “Buffett Rule,” designed to increase tax bills for the wealthiest Americans. Now, the second-richest man in the U.S. has dented Obama’s effort to stamp out corporate inversions. Buffett’s financing of Burger King Worldwide Inc.’s $11.4 billion purchase of the Canadian fast-food chain Tim Hortons Inc. challenges Obama’s argument that inversions are unpatriotic and gives defenders of the practice leverage to make their case.

Not terribly long ago in a country that many people misremember, if they knew it at all, a black person was killed in public every four days for often the most mundane of infractions, or rather accusation of infractions – for taking a hog, making boastful remarks, for stealing 75 cents. For the most banal of missteps, the penalty could be an hours-long spectacle of torture and lynching. No trial, no jury, no judge, no appeal. The purpose of a grand jury, in theory, is to protect citizens against unfair and unwarranted prosecutions by the government. In medieval England, it was viewed as a protection against the Crown. Colonists found the institution protected them against unfair English prosecutions and included the right to a grand jury in the Fifth Amendment. But in practice, the prosecutor who runs the grand jury has a great deal of influence in orchestrating the outcome. Amid the hysteria over the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., it might be lost that most black and white Americans believe they’re not out to get each other. A new Pew Research survey shows that 75 percent of whites and 64 percent of blacks say their groups get along together “pretty well” if not “very well.” It’s a bleaker view for Hispanics, 53 percent of whom say the same. Ferguson fell into the national media spotlight on Aug. 9 when Brown, who was unarmed and black,” was shot dead by Darren Wilson, a white police officer. A St. Louis grand jury is currently deliberating whether to charge Wilson of a crime.
