Endless wave of illegal immigrants
floods Rio Grande valley

Fox News, by Jana Winter

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/14/2014 9:37:00 AM

EXCLUSIVE: McALLEN, Texas — Life jackets of all sizes and the occasional punctured raft are strewn along the banks of the Rio Grande, just south of Mission, Texas, where a relentless onslaught of illegal immigrants eagerly surrender to beleaguered Border Patrol agents around the clock. It’s a cycle for which there is no end in sight. “You´re going to be out here a long time,” Fernando, an El Salvadoran child, told FoxNews.com shortly after surrendering to Border Patrol authorities after midnight Saturday. “There are thousands of us." With most of the men and women charged with securing the Mexican border

Comments:
The video is chilling and infuriating. There were two Arizona ranchers on Fox this morning who said they found prayer rugs and Korans on their property. It is just horrifying and more than infuriating what those in Washington are doing to us. One of them said there is a fire on the border and Washington is sending gasoline. I couldn´t have said it any better.

I can sleep well knowing that since 1986 the southern border has been secure. I am so grateful to the hundreds - no thousands - of elected officials that have courageously upheld their solemn oath to me as a citizen and my pact with them to the abide by our Constitution to protect the United States and abide by its laws.

Now I am ready for comprehensive Immigration Reform - my Federal and Texas state Governments have made me so proud. Thanks SCOTUS for also faithly administering the laws and intent of Congress under Article I of the Constitution to define and control who can be citizens of this once great Nation.

#2, Mexico has opened their southern boarder and has started issuing permits (for a fee/bribe) to the illegals so they can legally travel through Mexico with the promise they won´t be staying. There were some articles about this change in their policy last week.

So we take all the foreign aid money usually spent in those nations where the children originated and use it here to deal with the crisis they´ve perpetrated.

Of course, that won´t happen. But if, in some fantasyland, we did pull our dollars from those countries they might be encouraged to reform so their citizens don´t feel so compelled to go elsewhere.

Defenders of Texas Gov. The saga of University of California, Santa Barbara feminist studies professor Mireille Miller-Young has taken yet another bizarro twist after her defenders urged a judge to excuse the criminal allegations against her because of the “cultural legacy of slavery.” Miller-Young pleaded no contest last month to misdemeanor counts of battery, theft and vandalism after she rallied up a small gaggle of female vigilantes and attacked abortion protesters Thrin Short, 16, and Joan Short, 21. Democrats are salivating over Friday’s indictment of Texas Governor Rick Perry, and for good reason. Their one bright hope for the cycle, Texas State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, has already done an early dive into the gutter, and their slate for the remaining up-ballot races is mediocre at best. They’re last shot might be a long shot, but that doesn’t mean they’re not going to try. Progressive grassroots juggernaut Battleground Texas is already fundraising off of the indictment. They say a prosecutor could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, and this always seemed like hyperbole, until Friday night a Texas grand jury announced an indictment of governor Rick Perry. The “crime” for which Perry faces a sentence of 5 to 99 years in prison is vetoing funding for a state agency. The conventions of reporting — which treat the fact of an indictment as the primary news, and its merit as a secondary analytic question — make it difficult for people reading the news to grasp just how farfetched this indictment is. The Obama administration has done little to calm racial tensions as they spread from Manhattan to St. Louis to Los Angeles. Quite the opposite, some top officials have fueled African-American fears of racism with false accusations of anti-black discrimination. Attorney General Eric Holder’s race-baiting is no secret. Justice Department documents show the nation’s top cop gave thousands of dollars to help the Rev. Al Sharpton organize marches protesting the death of Trayvon Martin. Now he’s sent the civil-rights unit to St. Louis to do the same thing in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown. Less known, however, is the role of Labor Secretary Thomas

The scandal that erupted Friday night involved millions of dollars, statehouse power plays—oh yeah, and alcohol, police, and masks. Texas Governor Rick Perry was indicted Friday on charges of abuse of power—a first degree felony—and coercion—a third degree felony. The charges stem from a 2013 scandal that has been quietly rumbling in the Lone Star State as Perry has been floated as a viable contender for the Republican nomination in 2016. This is a complex case, which might be why it has not made national headlines the way other recent, state-level scandals (like Bridgegate, in New Jersey) have. Below, I have outlined

A grand jury in Travis County, Texas, indicted Governor Rick Perry today. Why? For exercising his constitutional prerogative by threatening to veto, and then vetoing, an appropriation to support the public corruption unit in Travis County’s district attorney’s office. This followed the arrest of the county’s district attorney, Democratic Party activist Rosemary Lehmberg, for drunk driving, after she was found “with an open bottle of vodka in the front passenger seat of her car in a church parking lot in Austin.” Ms. Lehmberg served 45 days in jail. The Travis County district attorney’s office has long been a cesspool of corruption.
