Rancher Cliven Bundy can´t win:
USA Today, by Editorial

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 7/14/2014 5:39:20 AM

Government authorities were wise to back off in April when scofflaw Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy surrounded himself with armed supporters to avoid paying more than $1 million in grazing fees and penalties he had accumulated over two decades. As infuriating as it was that Bundy had repeatedly defied court orders and insisted he could graze his cattle wherever he pleased, he wasn´t worth a bloody confrontation. Three months later, though, Americans who obey the law and pay their bills might wonder how long Bundy and his gun-toting pals are going to get away with rejecting the rule of law. It´s bad enough

Actually, it´s the Federal government that´s the scofflaw precedent notwithstanding.

I find it ironic how the USA Today preaches about Rule of Law when it comes to Cliven Bundy, but ignores the same when it comes to Obama.
Medicaid and Welfare waivers? DREAM? Border Crisis? Fast and Furious? Benghazi coverup? IRS targeting of conservatives? NSA spying? 20+ extralegal changes to Obamacare law? Waivers from Obamacare to buddies and campaign contributors?

FTA:

In a nation awash in firearms, where a small but heavily armed fringe seethes with anti-government paranoia

Southern Poverty Law Center says the Bundy Ranch incident was carefully planned by armed right-wing groups

a magnet for angry, armed men and women

pointing rifles in the direction of BLM officials who had rounded up hundreds of Bundy´s cattle, as a federal judge had authorized them to do

Bundy clings to the discredited theory

Americans should hope there´s more going on behind the scenes to make the point that this sort of behavior cannot stand.

end FTA

This nothing more than a left wing editorial peppered with the usual leftist propaganda talking points and key phrases.

There is no reason for the Federal Government to act now, they will continue to total up what Bundy awes and eventually they will confiscate the ranch. Might happen in a year, might happen in a decade, might happen when he dies but it will happen.

Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Michelle Nunn partnered with D.C. lobbyists in a multi-million dollar land deal in 2004, according to America Rising. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution: In 2004, Nunn, her father, four-term Democratic U.S. Sen. Remember how Senator Obama used to blame George W. Bush for rising Anti-Americanism in Europe? Remember Obama hectoring Bush for lecturing rather than listening and for acting unilaterally without compunction? Remember Obama promising to heal the breach between the United States and our European allies by acting “in partnership” and showing “humility?” That promise has vanished into the same ether as the president’s assurances that Americans could keep their healthcare plans if they wanted it. Five years of the Obama administration should make European statesmen yearn for President George W. Bush. Liberal New York Times op-ed columnist Roger Cohen labels the current

I understand the frame of reference. Eisenhower sent in the 101st Airborne to desegregate Central High; the Marines were sent in during the L.A. riots after the Rodney King verdict to keep the peace. This idea of using troops to maintain order when racial tensions blow sky high somewhere in America isn’t out of the blue, especially for someone who participated in the civil rights movement. But this is a singularly terrible idea on a day when elements of the left and right have coalesced to criticize — ta da — the militarization of the police. The solution to cops

A fun fact: The emergency medical technician (EMT) responsible for aiding the victim of a car accident undergoes, on average, 33 days of training. The cosmetologist whose salon that driver just left studied for 372 days. That the typical rescue worker requires fewer hours of training than the typical manicurist, barber, and interior designer is the upside-down result of occupational licensing, the wormhole of training courses, examinations, fees, and other hoop-jumping required by many states to ply a number of trades. As unions decline, occupational-licensing requirements are on the rise, facilitated by back-scratching among industries and legislators both state and federal. In

Nearly 12 percent of Americans pack up and move every year. Most of them assume that by registering to vote in their new home cities or states, their old records will be invalidated. In many cases, they´re wrong. There is no unified system in the United States alerting election officials that former residents have moved away and plan to vote in someone else´s jurisdiction. As a result, millions of Americans are registered to vote in more than one place in any given election, leaving open the possibility of massive voter fraud that would not be halted by voter-identification laws that have

MCALLEN, Texas -- On Wednesday, Texas Governor Rick Perry visited National Guard troops who will soon beef up patrols along the border with Mexico. Perry says Texas had to act because the federal government has failed to secure the border. Perry has taken this political fight to a new level. Members of the Texas National Guard recently completed combat training. The next deployment for some will be on the border. "The price of inaction is too high for Texas to pay," Perry told a news conference in July. Perry ordered 1,000 National Guard members to help other state agencies with border security. The

Exactly 53 years after East Germany´s Communist authorities started to build the Berlin Wall, half of all Germans do not know the exact date when the city was divided, said a survey released this week. Shortly after midnight on Aug. 13, 1961, East German troops began erecting a barbed-wire barrier to prevent skilled workers from fleeing to West Germany. The fence evolved into an imposing concrete wall that came to symbolize the Cold War. When asked what happened on this date, some 50 percent of Germans said they did not know, according to the survey of 1,013 people carried out by the

Two crises – one in Iraq and one in Ukraine – aren’t enough to disturb President Obama’s vacation. In Iraq, a twofold crisis has the barbarian forces of the Islamic State trying to butcher their way into Kurdistan and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki clinging to power. The airstrikes and military aid to the Kurds ordered by Obama may help slow the advance of Islamic State forces but won’t significantly damage the group. As the suffering of the 30,000 to 50,000 Yazidis trapped by the Islamic State on Mount Sinjar worsens, the Pentagon is reportedly planning their evacuation, a massive effort that

Never mind Baghdad. If we want to make a dent in the battle against the jihadis that are about to swallow Iraq, America must fully back the Kurds. President Obama has started moving in the right direction, but he’s still too busy with the long game: As he plays Baghdad politics, we risk losing Iraq altogether. And the Islamic State, a group that hates America and that could soon establish a base from which to plot attacks against us, will take the spoils. To Obama’s credit, he’s finally paying attention to the group also known as Daesh and ISIS. The Islamic State is

Such commitment is admirable, particularly in the face of public admonitions from both Republican malcontents and weak sisters in his own party. Obama was already under fire in June for his planned California getaway, even as the crisis on the southern border boiled over in the summer sun and disasters unfolded on no less than three other continents. It’s official: Obamaism is dead. Hillary Clinton killed it. It wasn’t so much a mercy killing as an expedient one, but that’s politics in the best sense. President Obama said Thursday that “now is the time for healing” after a series of clashes between protesters and police over the shooting of a black teenager in Ferguson, Mo., but he also called for an open and transparent investigation “to see that justice is done” in the case. What would happen, though, if Boehner turned around and made a deal with Harry Reid on amnesty in September? The eruption of protests and violence has been a long time coming. While I certainly do not condone rioting, examining the conditions surrounding Brown’s death — and the deaths of several other unarmed black men killed by law enforcement recently — makes clear that community reactions like those in Ferguson, Mo., are bound to happen. America has continued to isolate poor black people in economically depressed neighborhoods under increasingly oppressive police tactics that breed

The first-in-the-nation legislation already passed California’s state Senate by a vote of 27-4 in May, The Associated Press reports.
