Israel crisis: Obama´s
obscene moral relativism

Fox News, by Anne Bayefsky

As Palestinian terror dramatically escalates, the Obama administration is working hard – not to defeat the terrorists, but to tie Israel’s hands behind its back. Sure, there is background noise paying lip-service to an Israeli right of self-defense and babbling about a Palestinian peace partner. The reality, however, is that responsibility for the harrowing transition from the kidnap and murder of three Jewish teenagers by Hamas members to 4 million Israelis running in terror from Hamas rocket attacks leads directly to the White House. Here are the dots that need to be connected. On June 2, President Obama emboldened Hamas by

Israel realizes they´ve been on their own for at east a couple years now. They had hoped there was enough support from the majorities of politicos to fall back on,now they´re universally toxic except for Canada.
In the left´s and Islam´s playbooks, there´s no such thing as a country´s right to self defense.

Both Islam and the American left use kids as human shields.A lot of these cruds coming across the border may be future recruits in Obama´s black domestic military.

I don´t like the way Israel is wasting missile defense on carnival rockets.Hamas has longer range missiles they´re sitting on.

Not even the fact one of those teenagers murdered happened to be an American citizen influenced the opinion of this mackerel. Israel has been given the patience of Job to be able to put up with this putz. Good to see them at last put aside their glasses and begin to retaliate. The White House will not be a friend to Israel until it has been refurbished and old cobwebs are swept aside.

Lauren Bacall died this week at age 89. Her obituaries are paying tribute to a glamorous actress, a famed star from Hollywood’s Golden Age, the wife of Humphrey Bogart, and a lifetime liberal. She’s also being celebrated by liberals as a fighter for freedom in the arts, one who bravely confronted the closed-minded anti-communists in Washington—a stoic battler against Joe McCarthy and his “witch hunts.” Sorry, but reality is more complicated. The facts are that Lauren Bacall herself learned the truth about communism in Hollywood. She admitted to being badly duped by bad guys. She learned her lesson, even as her fellow

The man brought to face justice by the daughter of an Inwood restaurateur he fatally shot over 25 years ago told a judge Thursday that the killing was an act of “self defense” and then, in a stunning move, blamed the victim for destroying his life. Justo Santos, 44, was on the lam when Joselyn Martinez tracked him to a Miami hideout last year through social media sites. “It destroyed my life,” whined the clean-cut father of five, wearing glasses and a smart beige blazer in a Manhattan court hearing. “Your killing Mr. Martinez destroyed your life?” Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Lederer asked

As I plod through my 20s, I’ve noticed a strange phenomenon: The music I loved as a teenager means more to me than ever—but with each passing year, the new songs on the radio sound like noisy nonsense. On an objective level, I know this makes no sense. I cannot seriously assert that Ludacris’ “Rollout” is artistically superior to Katy Perry’s “Roar,” yet I treasure every second of the former and reject the latter as yelping pablum. ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Democrats fighting for revenues from oil companies here are reaching out to an old foe: Sarah Palin. The former GOP governor is a natural ally in a ballot fight to restore a law she signed in 2007 that implemented steep and progressive taxes on the biggest Alaska oil producers. Statehouse Republicans replaced her structure with one backed by oil producers, who are the largest contributors to the $14.4 million effort to defeat an Aug. 19 referendum to revert to the Palin-era oil-tax code.

Keep an eye on Minnesota. The state that gave us Michele Bachmann and Jesse Ventura just might decide to dump funnyman Al Franken from the Senate. Most pundits think that challenger Mike McFadden is, at best, a long shot. I don’t think so. In several polls the incumbent, a former Saturday Night Live star, can’t break the 50% mark. Given his narrow victory in 2008 (which some say wasn’t a real victory), it’s probably not that surprising that Mr. Franken is still a polarizing figure. But after six years in the Senate, one might expect that the incumbent would have built a more comfortable

California lawmakers are poised to enact a regulation requiring every college and university that receives public funding to define consensual sex in a way that attempts to micro-manage everyone’s sexual affairs. The first-in-the-nation legislation already passed California’s state Senate by a vote of 27-4 in May, The Associated Press reports. If the bill passes the assembly this month, it will then go to the desk of Gov. Jerry Brown. The bill, which is based on guidance from the Obama administration, requires an “affirmative consent standard” that school administrators would use to determine whether a sexual assault has occurred. The standard would define

Then the New York Post´s "Page Six" published the news that Paul was in the Hamptons on Saturday with Alec Baldwin. Paul was "among the intellectual elite" at a fundraiser for a library in East Hampton that Baldwin co-sponsored, the column says. It raised some eyebrows in Iowa. Losing Robin Williams hurts. Many millions of people loved him wholeheartedly. Others saw him as brilliant but a little too earnest, which now seems like a lovely offense. So the pain is widespread. It makes sense that we are talking about it in the media and on the Internet. But it is also a real problem. Mass celebrations of people who kill themselves, even beloved people, can send the wrong message and influence others toward hurting themselves. In recent decades, there have been many sociological studies that demonstrate what’s called suicidal modeling. A suicide at a school can lead to a spate of

A man with a rare disease has shown scientists that there might be a different way to try to halt the devastating damage of Alzheimer´s disease. A mutation of the apolipoprotein E gene (apoE4) has been shown to raise the chances of developing the memory-robbing condition, and experts have wondered how dangerous it would be to treat the patients by eliminating the protein from the brain. Now, researchers report, the answer might lie in the unusual case of an ill man whose body doesn´t produce the protein at all. While the man has a variety of medical problems linked to a rare

They understand what a greenhouse is, how it works, why we call it the greenhouse effect. They get it.” “If you accept the science,” Kerry continued. “If you accept that the science is causing climate to change, you have to

Going by the numbers, Apple fits into a stereotype of many tech companies in Silicon Valley: its workforce is overwhelmingly white and male. Overall, 70 percent of Apple employees are men as opposed to 30 percent women, and 55 percent are white, according to statistics provided by Apple. In addition, 15 percent of its overall workforce is Asian, 11 percent is Hispanic, and 7 percent is Black. Liberals like Chris Mooney of Mother Jones agree that today’s Republican party is “environmental[ly] retrograde,” but often acknowledge it wasn’t like that a few decades ago. For example, as Mooney noted in a Tuesday post, a GOP president, Richard Nixon, established the EPA. Mooney reports, however, that in the early 1990s the party as a whole grew distinctly more hostile towards environmentalism. He touches on several possible explanations, including a backlash against the newly elected vice president, Earth in the Balance author Al Gore, as well as a theory that after the Soviet Union collapsed, environmentalists succeeded Communists as major objects
