White House Press Secretary Claims
Transparency Criticism Unfounded

Washington Free Beacon [DC], by CJ Ciaramella

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the Obama administration is “absolutely” the most transparent presidency in history, contrary to recent complaints from press groups. “There are a number of steps that we’ve taken to give people greater insight into what’s happening at the White House,” Earnest said in a Sunday interview with CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” Thirty-eight national press groups and transparency organizations, including the Society of Professional Journalists and the Poynter Institute, sent a letter to the White House last week criticizing the Obama administration’s “politically driven suppression of news and information about federal agencies.” “Over the past two

Let´s give Dear Leader Barack Hussein some credit here - it´s actually hard to be transparent when the White House is constantly surrounded by a massive, protective blockade of MSM propaganda. I mean, that´s hard for anyone to see through.

The earnest Mr. Earnest has already jumped the shark.

Let´s see the *physical* copy of the birth certificate and then the college transcripts, then on down the long list of "undisclosed" Obama history. Then, we´ll talk.

Not to get personal, but I thought Jay Carney was the worst press secretary ever. Then along comes this little Stepford Press Secretary, Josh Earnest, and he has proven himself to be worse. He has a shifty eyed glance that sets my teeth on edge probably because I know the truth will never be told by anyone in the Obama administration.

The press corps should go in there every day with the determination to get to the truth. If you put pressure on Obamabots they will crack. The truth will be their downfall. The media just has to have the resolve to challenge them repeatedly with the facts and not let them get away with blatant lies. The truth, if told, will set us free from this administration. The day they lose control of the narrative is the day things will change.

Poor Josh, so earnest and eager to be somebody important, is willing to sell his soul and lie to America´s collective face every time he mounts the podium. Slick in his DC duds, he dutifully reads the talking points as written for him. When, like his predecessor, he has no answer, he wings it, expecting to be believed.

It is beyond comprehension that anyone would want this job in return for his reputation. Ditto Psaki and her equally pathetic attempts to make this POTUS sound credible.

Thirty-eight national press groups and transparency organizations,... sent a letter to the White House last week criticizing the Obama administration’s “politically driven suppression of news and information about federal agencies.

Even the media are saying this Administration is not just "politically driven", but is the least transparent in history, yet starry-eyed true believers´ attempts at defending this POTUS are taken seriously.

You cannot get answers unless you ask the questions. When the PS lies, ask again and again and again and tell him he is lying. Show him no respect until he tells the truth
That is the job of the WH Press Corps. Why even bother with the press conferences unless the hard questions are asked and answered truthfully. When a person lies, tell him no one believes what he is saying and to send in someone who will be truthful. There would be a new Press Secy on a daily basis.

Publicly-available photos of real father, Frank Marshall Davis, or "Pops," as described in Liar´s so-called "autobiography."

One look at real father, Chicago CPUSA leader (and later on, Honolulu denizen) "Pops," and presto! Explanations for every life-and-death lie uttered with malice aforethought by Liar become clear as crystal.

What a great photo-op it would be, if journalists would attend press conferences, armed with side-by-side photos of Liar with his real father.

Why on earth would anyone want to listen to the White House press secretary? It should be humiliating to allow oneself to be fed a continuous line of bull. Would it not serve the same purpose for the news people to give their own line of bull to their own questions? It is undignified to allow oneself to be lied to. What possible positive value can be gained by attending propaganda sessions orchestrated by the White House? Those who attend these bull sessions should feel deep shame knowing that the attitude toward them by the secretary is one of disrespect. Anyone with an ounce of pride would refuse to attend. It is well known that nearly all media people are Democrats. But in spite of that it is still degrading to pass on other people´s lies. They should take the "high" road and fabricate their own!

FERGUSON, Mo. — Activists on Saturday called for mass civil disobedience on the highways in and around this St. Louis suburb to protest the killing of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer, with the leaders of one coalition encouraging supporters to stop their cars to tie up traffic on Labor Day. The announcement came at a peaceful if at times tense march and rally on Saturday that drew more than 1,000 demonstrators to some of the same Ferguson streets where the police clashed with protesters in the days after the killing of Michael Brown. A Friday afternoon dispatch at the Politico from Carrie Budoff Brown and Jennifer Epstein tells us that "The White House is putting the finishing touches on a post-Labor Day schedule that will send the president to states where he’s still popular." The list of states where the Politico pair alleges that´s the case is quite short: "Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Illinois and California." That´s it. Obama, in a situation resembling that of Richard Nixon in the final months of his presidency, when "Tricky Dick" was mocked for being able to find friendly audiences in just a few Southern states, is apparently

The childhood home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is for sale in Manhattan at $44 million. The recently renovated 1929 duplex retains its traditional architecture but has been updated with modern finishes and a contemporary look. Candela’s name is often associated with luxury buildings and coveted addresses. Onassis’ grandfather, James T. Lee, was the builder. Even the most ardent immigrant rights advocates are saying it: Reform legislation is dead this year — and for the foreseeable future. With that in mind, all eyes have shifted to the White House, where President Obama is weighing unilateral changes to his immigration policies in the face of congressional inaction. In March, the president asked the Department of Homeland Security to review its approach to deportations in search of blanket ways to conduct them "more humanely." With the results of that review – and Obama´s subsequent policy response – expected next month, both sides of the immigration debate are

Watching the events unfold in Ferguson, Missouri, I can’t help thinking about the Holocaust and post-war Germany. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is interrupting a weekend trip to return to the White House. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Obama changed his plans for Friday and will return to Washington late in the evening after fundraisers in New York and Rhode Island, instead of overnighting in New York as originally planned. Earnest said Obama himself made the decision to return to the White House and that it was unrelated to any current events.
