The 4 NYC teachers banned
from classrooms who rake in millions

New York Post, by Susan Edelman

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 7/13/2014 11:18:14 PM

Three of the city’s longest-running “rubber room” teachers have raked in more than $1 million each for a decade of not working in classrooms, and a fourth is paid a top salary — $100,049 a year — not to teach. The Foul Four — who beat sexual-misconduct charges — can’t be fired by the Department of Education because they are entitled to job protections under state tenure laws, which require “due process.” Educators are entitled to a trial with an independent hearing officer who decides whether any misconduct warrants termination. A group of New York City parents filed a lawsuit

Comments:
Alleged perverts still getting paid for nothing ...

Then ... there are little kids suspended or expelled for chewing their pop tart into the shape of a gun. /s

There was an article not too long ago that some of the rubber room denizens were running private businesses while there.

What teacher is worth over $100,000 for doing nothing? None of them. There is an employed gym teacher in a close by city (rural area) who makes over $100,000. A gym teacher for God´s sake! Oh, my bad. "It´s for the children."

NYC is just special. I hope they win this lawsuit.

Does the new mayor support this action ?

Any time OPM is involved, let the good times roll. There is more where that came from.

I see some of the best cars in town at the school parking lot.

One teacher drives a Porsche, there are many Lexus and BMW models, and not a few Mercedes.

This article is WHY these teachers get away with this so easily. Where are the photos??? Funny how the media can ALWAYS find those they really want to by staking out their home, etc. Their faces should be plastered everywhere so they and their families are shamed. I sm as mad at the sloppy MSM as I am at this corrupt evil school district that allows and enables perversion.

Meriam Ibrahim, 27, is finally free. On Thursday, in Khartoum, she boarded a plane with her husband and two young children and flew to Rome. They will spend the next few days there before flying to the United States. Her husband, Daniel Wani, has a house in New Hampshire. Ibrahim met with Pope Francis yesterday. The Italian government is being credited with helping to negotiate Ibrahim’s release. (snip) Religious intolerance exists along a broad spectrum, as do those who suffer under different degrees of it. Until yesterday, Meriam Ibrahim stood at one end. Conservative religious Americans stand at the other.

Police detained two men at a Midtown hotel late Friday after a doorman reported they possessed a pair of pressure cookers like those used to make the Boston Marathon bombs. But the men say it was a misunderstanding: They plan to use the pressure cookers to prepare rice, chicken and meat. Mohammad Alotaibi, 21, and Ayoub Alawadhi, 20, pulled up to the InterContinental Hotel on East 48th Street late Friday with the pressure cookers in their car’s trunk, said law enforcement sources. A doorman called Crimestoppers, and NYPD counterterrorism and intelligence officers arrived to question the men. Police did not

The attorney general of Colorado says he will have his staff review the Live Action investigative video of a Denver Planned Parenthood employee coaching a young woman, believed to be only 15-years old, in the practice of high-risk sexual activities, including bondage/discipline and sado-masochistic sex (BDSM). The second installment of pro-life organization Live Action’s series titled “SexEd: Planned Parenthood’s Dangerous Sex Advice for Kids,” features Denver Planned Parenthood counselors suggesting to the undercover investigator a spectrum of sadistic sexual behaviors, such as “whipping,” “tying up,” and “asphyxiation.” As observed by Wayne Laugesen at the National Catholic Register, despite Colorado Attorney

On Thursday, footage surfaced of Jonathan Gruber, an MIT economist and chief architect of Obamacare, discussing the issue at the heart of the latest ACA court cases: whether subsidies are only available for state-run insurance exchanges or can also be paid as part of a federal exchange. During a January 2012 lecture Gruber said, "I think what’s important to remember politically about this, is if you’re a state and you don’t set up an exchange, that means your citizens don’t get their tax credits." Gruber spoke with Jonathan Cohn, a senior editor at The New Republic, about the video on Friday and

The White House pretended to champion American workers this week with gimmicky initiatives on federal job training and “workplace innovation.” But far from the Beltway dog-and-pony show, a group of American workers ruthlessly shafted by the Obama administration was finally getting some real support — and inching toward justice. There’s an insight into Secretary of State Kerry’s view of Israel in the New Republic’s reprise of the collapse of the Obama administration’s attempt last year to broker a peace with the Palestinian Arabs. It came when the secretary suddenly started lecturing Prime Minister Netanyahu about Indochina. “When I fought in Vietnam, I used to look at the faces of the local population and the looks they gave us,” Mr. Kerry said. “I’ll never forget it. It gave me clarity that we saw the situation in completely different ways.” “This isn’t Vietnam!” Mr. Netanyahu shouted, according to the account in

Irbil, Iraq — Each day, Kurdish security forces in northern Iraq skirmish with fearsomely armed Islamic State militants along their new, nearly 650-mile border. The Kurds have held their own so far. But without new arms supplies or financial assistance, their fight is unsustainable, a senior Kurdish official said. Masrour Barzani, the Kurdistan Regional Government’s intelligence and security chief, described his forces as “overstretched.” In an interview this week, he called on the United States to provide direct military assistance to his semiautonomous region, which he said has been left to fight the extremists unaided.

A clip of Jonathan Gruber circulated last night in which he states that Obamacare subsidies are tied to the existence of state exchanges. The highest human rights court in Europe has told European LGBTs that they have no human right to same-sex marriage, in a case that also shows how complicated sexual and marital norms have become in this new transsexual world. After a sex-change operation, he attempted to change his governmental "male identity number" to a female one. He was turned down because, according to law, he needed his wife´s consent to change their man-woman marriage to a "registered partnership",

President Obama insists on flirting with impeachment even as House Republican leaders insist there’s no such possibility. Obama uses a passive-aggressive strategy that can be judged as a political maneuver, a personality disorder, or both. Secure in the knowledge that impeachment is not the same as removal from office, Mr. Obama brings up the topic on his own and with bold defiance. Martyrdom goes well with a Messiah complex and Mr. Obama’s speeches are a non-stop litany of depicting himself as a victim of Republicans. Already operating beyond the constitutional bounds of presidential power, Mr. Obama’s strategy is to push the bounds

The president’s demeanor is worrying a lot of people. From the immigration crisis on the Mexican border to the Islamic State rising in Mesopotamia, Barack Obama seems totally detached from the world’s convulsions. When he does interrupt his endless rounds of golf, fundraising and photo ops, it’s for some affectless, mechanical, almost forced public statement. Regarding Ukraine, his detachment — the rote, impassive voice — borders on dissociation. His U.N. ambassador, Samantha Power, delivers an impassioned denunciation of Russia. Obama cautions that we not “get out ahead of the facts,” as if the facts of this case — Vladimir Putin’s

Officials signaled strongly Friday that Obama´s move would shield from deportation large numbers of immigrants living in the country illegally, as advocacy groups have demanded. Roughly 5 million of the estimated 11 million people who entered the country without legal authorization or overstayed their visas could be protected under a leading option the White House is considering, according to officials who discussed
