Jon Voight Lashes Out Against
Obama In Lengthy Televised Statement

Hollywood Reporter, by Staff

In remarks framed as a message to the American public, actor Jon Voight emotionally aired his political grievances for several minutes in a televised statement on Saturday. Those grievances range from (but are not limited to) Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the "targeting" of conservative filmmaker Dinesh D´Souza, illegal immigration, the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court case, the treatment of war veterans, the chaos in Iraq and deep reservations about President Obama. "Five years ago, I stated that Obama would take the country apart piece-by-piece, that he would cause a civil war in this country," Voight read on Saturday in a statement on

Comments:
Sorry, Homer. This conservative actor does know everything...

One can only assume that his worldview has gotten around Hollywood, because he hasn´t had hardly any movie roles lately.

Did any of you know that Brad Pitt´s mother wrote an article in the Newspaper in Hollywood asking people to vote for Romney because Obama would be the wrong choice. Well, Brad Pitt´s Liberal friends called Brad´s mother the C word. Yea......and Brad didn´t do anything about it. NOT A WORD in Defense of his mother. Nice huh? And Jon has tried to get through to his daughter....but she won´t budge either. These people worship their liberal god....the religion of liberal progressive fantasy and throw away their own ...(Brad´s mom). This is why I won´t give one thin dime to those vile creatures.

NOW is the time for them to speak out as loudly as they can.

#4, in the article it notes that Mr. Voigt stars in Showtime drama, "Ray Donovan".

The twelve-episode first season premiered on June 30, 2013. The pilot episode broke records of viewership, becoming the biggest premiere of all time on Showtime.
Second season premieres tonight.
It doesn´t sound as if he´s doing too badly.

IIRC, Voight started out as an anti-war leftist. Remember the anti-war movie he made with Jane Fonda and Bruce Dern, "Coming Home"? What turned him around was the left´s utter abandonment of the people of South Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos after we cut and ran from SE Asia. He realized that the whole anti-war movement was a scam - it was based on the cowardice of the protestors, who did not want to risk their own precious skin, not their compassion for the people being killed and maimed by war.

God bless you, Mr. Voight.

As the carnage in Gaza reached a crescendo in the beginning of August, Jon Voight, one of Hollywood´s most vocal conservatives, penned a harsh attack on fellow actors Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz in response to a letter they signed condemning the latest Israeli bombing of Gaza in which he accused them of "inciting anti-Semitism all over the world". Many activists dismiss Voight´s letter as the rantings of an unthinking actor who long ago lost touch with political reality - a poor relation of conservative icon Charlton Heston. But Voight´s vitriol, and the narratives behind them, have for decades been quite effective in silencing criticism of Israel

Istanbul - Yazidi leaders and emergency relief officials on Thursday strongly disputed American claims that the siege of Mount Sinjar in northern Iraq had been broken and that the crisis was effectively over, saying that tens of thousands of Yazidis remained on the mountain in desperate conditions. On Wednesday, the United States military said that a small team of 18 Marines and Special Operations soldiers had completed an assessment of conditions on Mount Sinjar and found that most of the Yazidis, a small Iraqi religious minority, had succeeded in escaping, and the numbers remaining were in the low thousands.

Did police in Ferguson, Missouri, deliberately fire tear gas and rubber bullets at a television news crew Wednesday night? Photos and videos from the Al Jazeera America camera crew were widely shared in the wake of Wednesday´s incident, which Al Jazeera called an "egregious assault on freedom of the press that was clearly intended to have a chilling effect on our ability to cover this important story." The images showed a tear gas canister exploding close to the Al Jazeera correspondent Ash-har Quraishi, who tried to shield himself from the smoke. Was it intentional? The Washington Redskins filed a lawsuit Thursday in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, seeking to overturn a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s decision that cancelled the team’s trademark registration because it considers the name and logo disparaging. The Redskins are suing five Native Americans who won the headline-making patent case on June 18, providing them with a largely symbolic victory in their fight to force the team to change its name. By suing in federal district court, the Redskins are asking for a chance to defend their name, which they contend celebrates Native Americans. The team can now introduce fresh evidence
