Paris- Clashes erupted in Paris on Sunday as thousands of people protested against Israel and in support of residents in the Gaza Strip, where a six-day conflict has left 168 Palestinians dead. Several thousand demonstrators walked calmly through the streets of Paris behind a large banner that read "Total Support for the Struggle of the Palestinian People". But clashes erupted at the end of the march on Bastille Square, with people throwing projectiles onto a cordon of police who responded with tear gas. The unrest continued early Sunday evening as police announced six arrests had been made. A small group tired

Any time there is any show of support for the Palestinians, it is violent and unlawful.

Evil leads to more evil.

I truly hope Israel doesn´t stop until they have this under full control for the long term. Show no more mercy than the savage muslims show to their victims.

Maybe the French could round them up, and drop-ship them to Gaza, to serve as additional "human shields" for their so-called Palestinian friends. Without food or weapons, of course.

Dog adopted me in 1995, six months or so into my first spell of ethnographic fieldwork among the Ju/’hoansi Bushmen in Namibia’s Kalahari Desert. I was living in the village of Skoonheid, named after an Afrikaner farm. He was the bravest of all the village dogs in seeking affection. The others loped around, their tails between their legs, trying to be invisible. They shied from physical contact with people but would respond with surprised and simpering gratitude if it was offered. Most of their physical interactions with people came in the form of kicks or flying stones. The village dogs’

Doctors began lifting the feisty funny lady from her medically induced coma Sunday at Mount Sinai Hospital as Melissa Rivers, her only child, waited to see how the legendary comic will respond. “The waking-up process has begun and will take until Tuesday,” a source close to the family told the Daily News. “There is real concern that the part of the brain that controls

PYONGYANG, North Korea — North Korea gave foreign media access on Monday to three detained Americans who said they have been able to contact their families and — watched by officials as they spoke — called for Washington to send a high-ranking representative to negotiate for their freedom. Jeffrey Fowle and Mathew Miller said they expect to face trial within a month. But they said they do not know what punishment they could face or what the specific charges against them are. Kenneth Bae, who already is serving a 15-year term, said his health has deteriorated at the labor camp

The group has taken up residence in the annex just over a month after diplomats fled to Tunisia over fears of mounting violence in the North African nation in recent months. An Associated Press journalist walked through the U.S. Embassy compound Sunday after the Dawn of Libya, an umbrella group for Islamist militias, invited onlookers inside. Short of world war, it’s rare that a chief executive goes through a foreign policy month like President Obama’s August.
