Michelle Obama to Latinos: ‘We cannot

Washington Times, by Cheryl K. Chumley

First lady Michelle Obama grabbed the political reins during a speech to the League of United Latin American Citizens in New York City, telling the crowd of admirers not to worry — that her husband wouldn’t wait on Congress to take action on immigration reform. “So make no mistake about it — we have to keep on fighting as hard as we can on immigration,” Mrs. Obama said, to a cheering crowd, Breitbart reported. “And as my husband has said, he’s going to do whatever administrative action it takes to fix this broken system.” Mrs. Obama then vowed that Congress wouldn’t get

Wow the KKK? Really Democrats were lynching latino´s. I wouldn´t put it past them. I´m not sure about other parts of the country but in the southwest Mexicans were considered white not brown. That was how they were kept off of juries. It wasn´t until Hernandez v Texas and the race apart argument that they were considered to be a different race. Here in AZ there was little bigotry. Many returned from fighting in the WWII and became citizens. They bought homes, started businesses and were welcomed. My father used to do car commercials. In the 60´s he´d do the english part and then for our spanish speaking friends another man would finish the ad. This disgusting woman can´t help bring racism into everything even when it´s not there.

Afford? Afford what? What will we, the citizens of the USA lose by waiting on comprehensive immigration reform? We are out of money, borrowing every dime we can. And we want to bring in many, many more people that will require us to spend more money on them. It amazes me what Michelle thinks is entirely logical - at least in her mind.

Why not just propose that an amnesty be granted ninety days before every future presidential election, that would take the illegal alien problem off the political table, and would be the easy way out for politicians of both political parties. The Democrats would get their influx of new foreign born voters, and the Republicans would get their cheap labor. The third man out in all that would be ordinary Americans who would get to pay for all that in thousands of ways.

The USA has immigration laws. The current adinistration doesnt like them .Tough . The USA also has the Constitution which does NOT empower a president to make law. The president takes an oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution" If he does not, Article II , section 4 can be used.

The black community is now repeating they have been dumped like a faithful wife who finds herself replaced by a new trophy.
That happens every time a lying shyster uses a body of people to achieve a goal then drops them when they are no longer useful.
It´s too bad the darker skin tones cover the fact that the person is only black in their dreams and evil intent.

They are mind-less, easily-led followers who do not or cannot think for themselves...but need someone to follow. As it says in the Bible.."The Blind leading the Blind into the PIT." That´s the kind we are dealing with. They are NOT independent thinkers nor do they research or do any homework before they REACT instead of responding. Back in the day, we had few of them.......but NOW.......we are outnumbered by them I fear.

In a speech in Boston, First Lady Michelle Obama left behind talk of exercise and school lunches, exchanging it all for bald politics by claiming that under her husband the US economy is now better off "by almost every economic measure." The First Lady appeared at the Strand Theater Friday to stump for Martha Coakley´s campaign for Governor of Massachusetts. Coakley needs help badly, as even in blue, blue Massachusetts, the race between Democrat Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker is essentially a toss up. In her remarks, Obama pushed the President´s newest campaign line that he has saved the economy based on

NEW YORK — As same-sex marriage cases cascade through the federal courts, Republican politicians find themselves awkwardly split into three camps. There´s a small but growing number who favor legalizing gay marriage, a hard-core faction that continues to denounce it, and a sizable group in between that seems to wish the issue would disappear. At one end of the spectrum, at least eight GOP members of Congress have endorsed same-sex marriage, and two openly gay GOP candidates for the House hope to join them. In Massachusetts, Richard Tisei has run ads featuring his husband. In California, Carl DeMaio ran an ad showing him

Note: Hate speech, not hate crimes. YouGov asked people about hate crimes for its poll too and found bipartisan support for the federal law that provides steeper penalties for crimes motivated by hatred of the victim’s race, religion, gender, or national origin. Sixty-four percent of Dems gave thumbs-up to that versus 54 percent of Republicans. A plurality of Republicans also support expanding that law to target hate crimes committed against gays: 44 percent say yes versus 30 percent who say no. Hate-crimes laws matter in the sentencing phase. If you’re guilty of the underlying offense, then you can be punished more

On Friday, a Washington D.C. hospital admitted a patient with possible Ebola symptons. If the patient is confirmed to have the virus, it would be the second documented case in the U.S. While we know the public is concerned about the spread of this incredibly dangerous virus, what many may not know is that it has the potential to impact the stock market, and the economy, even if it doesn’t spread. Mitt Romney just made a savvy next step in his quiet, camouflaged 2016 campaign. Like a growing number of Americans, Romney refused to declare a political party when he filled out a new voter registration reform in Utah. It´s the sort of party-rejecting step that could position a reinvented Romney to become America´s first non-Democrat or Republican president since the 1800s. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the new Utah registration form completed and signed by Romney last August deliberately leaves out any party identification. Scientists are to challenge the climate-change sceptics by vastly improving the speed with which they can prove links between a heatwave or other extreme weather event and man-made changes to the atmosphere. It typically takes about a year to determine whether human-induced global warming played a role in a drought, storm, torrential downpour or heatwave – and how big a role it played. This allows climate sceptics to dismiss any given extreme event as part of the “natural weather variation” in the immediate aftermath, while campaigners automatically blame it on global warming. A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,
