The Tea Party Isn’t a Political
Movement, It’s a Religious One

Daily Beast, by Jack Schwartz

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 7/13/2014 2:40:58 PM

Obama is the Antichrist, Republicans are heretics, and compromise is unholy. Politics can’t explain how the right acts. America has long been the incubator of many spiritual creeds going back to the Great Awakening and even earlier. Only one of them, Mormonism, has taken root and flourished as a true religion sprung from our own native ground. Today, however, we have a new faith growing from this nation’s soil: the Tea Party. (snip) Religion here doesn’t mean theology but a distinct belief system which, in totality, provides basic answers regarding how to live one’s life, how society should function, how

Comments:
Schwartz does correctly identify all the demons and infidels.

The Intro above following the (snip) - from third paragraph of original article - could also define "Global Warming / Climate Change" believers.

And a bit of a nitpick. I think the word tenants in the 7th paragraph should be tenets.

Putting the US Government back within the legal framework which brought it into existence. That ALL the Tea Party is about. You cannot be little bit outside just as you cannot be a little bit pregnant. Calling it a fanatical religion, demonic cult, whatever betrays the mind set of the accuser more than anything else.

The premise of this article is not true. Tea Party folks are made up of Jews, Christians and non believers, who stand together against the invasion of big government into their private lives. They believe that the government is to large, to expensive, to intrusive and becoming more and more totalitarian every day. The rules are more than the people could possibly understand or know, so the chances of breaking the law and being prosecuted loom over us every day; it might be the EPA, the IRS, the FEC or any other of the alphabet soup bureaucrats that bring the strong arm of the law upon any one of us.

They are quick to JUDGE and CONDEMN without knowing anything about the matter. There is a Scripture that covers this..PROVERBS 18:13 "Only a FOOL answers a matter BEFORE he knows all the facts." And these kinds of FOOLS reveal their folly to all when they speak.
