Holder: ´Homegrown Violent
Extremists … Keep Me Up at Night´

Weekly Standard, by Daniel Halper

Attorney General Eric Holder has a "lot of sleepless nights," reported ABC News this morning. Chief among his concerns? The threat of "homegrown violent extremists. "Asked the ABC News reporter, "Is that threat," like the Boston Marathon bombing last year, "any less serious?" "These lone wolves. These homegrown violent extremists are people who keep me up at night, as well," said Holder. "Trying to monitor them, trying to anticipate what it is they are going to do. And the experience that we had in Boston is instructive. It only takes only one or two people to really do something horrific." The ABC

Of course the "homegrown violent extremists" are Tea Party members, Libertarians, and all other conservatives who strongly disagree with Obama´s one-man rule.

Islam, as Mr. Holder and President Obama agree, is a religion of peace, not violent extremism.

That way you´ll be able to get some sleep! Which you will need, you have a lot work to do.

The Boston bombers didn´t work alone, and the Russians even warned us about them. So, what are the examples of actual home grown extremists that have done anything?

What he really means is that he plans to strip us of more freedom, wealth and opportunity. And he´s worried about the backlash once he destroys what is left of America.

Except the Boston Marathon bombers weren´t homegrown, they were imported and replanted here. And Eric Holder apparently slept through all the warnings that they had become radicalized. The one true homegrown extremist was Col. Nidal Hasan. Again, Holder slept through all sorts of warnings that he was radicalizing. Fact is that while Holder has his focus on the US right wing, all the violence is happening behind him.

You know, the closer we get to the 2016 presidential elections, the more I fret the uncertain future which may lay ahead for our great nation, courtesy, if you will, of some of my fellow-Americans lackadaisical deportment regarding our decadent State of the Union; a paradoxical departure from everything that America stood for just prior to our president Barack Obama’s untimely election, as he claimed on October 30th, 2008, to being just five days away [election day] from fundamentally transforming the nation. A feat, which, in hindsight, he was able to consummate fully and unobstructed. As far as I am concerned,

Establishment Republicans should keep the champagne on ice until after the midterm elections. Too many are already popping corks, pronouncing their strategy of “crushing” the Tea Party during the primaries as a crucial step in their successful takeover of the Senate. There are increasing signs, however, that the GOP might not take control of the Senate and may only make modest gains in the House of Representatives. In states like North Carolina, for example, the GOP candidate hasn’t shown the ability to wage a major-league campaign. In other key battleground states, the establishment GOP is supporting problematic candidates, like Monica Wehby

In the wake of a second presidential election loss in 2012, Republicans went back to the drawing board looking for a more effective way to present themselves and their message. Now a brand new ad campaign has been launched which demonstrates that Republicans are even more clueless about selling themselves today than they were two years ago and four years before that. The pathetic message this disastrous ad seems to be sending on behalf of Republicans is this: “Hey Democrats, please like us – we’re just like you!” The 97-second ad, part of a campaign from GOP strategist Vinny Manchillo, a

While there is not yet a front-runner in the early race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) is quickly becoming the favored contender of social conservatives, riding a recent wave of fiery speeches and standing ovations at right-wing conferences. Cruz’s core supporters on the right are the activists and high-powered interest groups determined to keep faith-infused positions at the center of the Republican Party, regardless of a push by some in the GOP to seek distance from socially conservative stands on marriage and abortion. We mention President Obama´s narcissism not as an exercise in name-calling but because it continues to be relevant to how he conducts himself in office, and it´s not pretty. This undeniable character trait was on full display in his interview with Steve Kroft of "60 Minutes," in the sense that he simply cannot entertain the possibility, much less -- infinitely less -- admit the possibility that he has made a mistake or exercised poor judgment. If anything remotely positive happens on his watch, he presumes to take full credit for it -- way more than the normal opportunistic politician. With the killing

Sacramento, Calif. - Gov. A national coalition of plastic bag manufacturers immediately said it would seek a voter referendum to repeal the law, which is scheduled to take effect in July 2015. Under SB270, plastic bags will be phased out of large grocery stores starting next summer and convenience stores and pharmacies in 2016.
