Holder: ´Homegrown Violent
Extremists … Keep Me Up at Night´

Weekly Standard, by Daniel Halper

Attorney General Eric Holder has a "lot of sleepless nights," reported ABC News this morning. Chief among his concerns? The threat of "homegrown violent extremists. "Asked the ABC News reporter, "Is that threat," like the Boston Marathon bombing last year, "any less serious?" "These lone wolves. These homegrown violent extremists are people who keep me up at night, as well," said Holder. "Trying to monitor them, trying to anticipate what it is they are going to do. And the experience that we had in Boston is instructive. It only takes only one or two people to really do something horrific." The ABC

Of course the "homegrown violent extremists" are Tea Party members, Libertarians, and all other conservatives who strongly disagree with Obama´s one-man rule.

Islam, as Mr. Holder and President Obama agree, is a religion of peace, not violent extremism.

That way you´ll be able to get some sleep! Which you will need, you have a lot work to do.

The Boston bombers didn´t work alone, and the Russians even warned us about them. So, what are the examples of actual home grown extremists that have done anything?

What he really means is that he plans to strip us of more freedom, wealth and opportunity. And he´s worried about the backlash once he destroys what is left of America.

Except the Boston Marathon bombers weren´t homegrown, they were imported and replanted here. And Eric Holder apparently slept through all the warnings that they had become radicalized. The one true homegrown extremist was Col. Nidal Hasan. Again, Holder slept through all sorts of warnings that he was radicalizing. Fact is that while Holder has his focus on the US right wing, all the violence is happening behind him.

JERUSALEM—A Hamas force wearing Israeli army uniforms emerged from a tunnel inside Israel this morning and inflicted losses on Israeli troops before being wiped out. The Hamas squad numbered at least 10 fighters, Israeli sources said. Nine were killed but an Israeli officer said at least two may have escaped through the tunnel. In initial accounts, which gave conflicting narratives, the Hamas force was said to have emerged from a hidden tunnel on the Israeli side of the border only 200 yards from a kibbutz, and split into two groups. The Progressive mantra of “diversity is our strength” is one of the most honored catchphrases of the left. Like all slogans, it is a test to see if common folk are “gun-toting, Bible-clinging” Neanderthals or are they part of the enlightened, educated elites to whom the rest of us must surrender our individual beliefs, opinions, and thoughts. But as with all that the Progressives say, the meaning of the words being used is warped and misrepresented. For example, think about what Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz is saying in the following: Diversity on the bench is critical. As practitioners, you need judges who ´get it!´

Want to get a new angle on Obama´s Hope and Change mantra? Longshoreman philosopher Eric Hoffer wrote the book about it before Obama was even born: The Ordeal of Change. [E]very radical adjustment is a crisis in self-esteem... A Travis County grand jury today indicted Gov. Rick Perry on two charges related to his effort last year to force District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign after her drunken driving arrest. Grand jurors charged Perry, 63, with abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony, and coercion of a public official. The indictments stemmed from Perry’s threat last summer to withhold $7.2 million in state money from Lehmberg’s office unless she step down – a threat he later carried out by vetoing an appropriation in the state budget. The money was earmarked for the state’s Public Integrity Unit, which is housed in Lehmberg’s office. Perry’s veto forced

For exercising his constitutional prerogative by threatening to veto, and then vetoing, an appropriation to support the public corruption unit in Travis County’s district attorney’s office.
