Barack Obama fist bumps
Texas restaurant employee

Independent [UK], by Antonia Molloy

President Barack Obama shared a fist bump with a Texas restaurant employee who urged him to do more to promote gay rights in the United States. Daniel Rugg Webb, a comedian, artist and musician, as well as an employee at Franklin Barbecue in Austin, seized the opportunity to make his voice heard when he found out Potus was visiting the food joint on Thursday, The Austin Chronicle reported. (Snip) Obama responded: “Are you gay?! To which Webb replied: “Only when I have sex.” Laughing, the President told Webb to “bump me” and the pair knocked their fists together. The exchange

Comments:
I thought this was a parody when I first heard it. Our dear president was actually asking people if they were gay during yet another photo op.

When a homosexual says to "bump him" to another, I don´t think they are talking about their fists, but then I could be wrong.

Not that it makes any difference, but, there are other gay politicians who could run the country better than barack. The difference between them and barack is that they don´t hate their country...

"Are you gay?" is representative of the liberal desire to know everything about you. Liberals want information. You can also see this in the NSA spying. Information is crucial to how liberalism operates.

President Obama needs to take action to stop Islamic State (Isis) militants from targeting cities in America and Western Europe, two senators have warned. Without offering specifics on any threats or suggestions on how to confront them, the leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives intelligence committees urged the White House to work to prevent the Islamic State extremists from launching attacks on US soil. The bipartisan pair shared a dire warning against Isis, which now has control of vast swathes of Syria and Iraq, has killed civilians from that region and beheaded American journalist James Foley. “This is

His diagnosis became clear three days after he was admitted. The Ola During Hospital in Sierra Leone - the nation´s only paediatric centre - was forced to close its steel gates. Fear swelled. On TV, incompetence is funny, sometimes hilarious. Jackie Gleason made a career of it on the old “Honeymooners” show; Tom Haverford is absurdly incapable on “Parks and Recreation”; and Michael Scott brought the Peter Principle to new heights in “The Office.” But in real life, incompetence can be dangerous, even life-threatening (think a real-life Homer Simpson actually in charge of safety at a nuclear power plant). That’s where America finds itself nearly six years into the presidency of Barack Obama. There’s no question Mr. Obama has all but checked out. Watching the events unfold in Ferguson, Missouri, I can’t help thinking about the Holocaust and post-war Germany. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

A laptop allegedly seized from an Isis (also known as Islamic State) base in Syria contains plans to launch devastating terror attacks harnessing the bubonic plague. "When the microbe is injected in small mice, the symptoms of the disease should start to appear within 24 hours," the document explains. It also contains a 26-page fatwa, or Islamic ruling, proclaiming the use of chemical weapons to be acceptable against kafirs, or non-believers.

The National Institutes of Health study is now in its fourth year, receiving an additional $670,567 for fiscal year 2014, for a total cost of $2.87 million, the Washington Free Beacon reported. They have determined that gay and bisexual males had a “greater desire for toned muscles” than straight men, lesbians have lower

Between 1970 and 1990, the population of Philadelphia shrank by a quarter, dropping from 1.95 to 1.59 million. Like many American cities, it seemed caught in a downward spiral. Since then – like many American cities – Philadelphia has stabilized. The population now appears to have bottomed out at the millennium, and has been regaining residents over the past decade. But as it rebounds, Philly is becoming a different kind of city. In the two most recent decades, which comprise the bounce of the city’s population curve, owner-occupied housing dropped even more steeply than in the ’70s and ’80s. Between 2000 and

WASHINGTON — The current Congress is on track to be the worst ever at passing laws since modern record-keeping began, with three of its lawmakers failing to introduce a single bill, The Post has learned. The divided House and Senate have managed to pass just 163 laws that garnered President Obama’s signature since the two-year term began in January 2013. At this rate, Congress will have no problem beating the previous record set during the 2011-2013 session in which 284 laws were passed. That was down from 385 laws passed in the 2009-2011 session.
