Gutierrez Slams ´Shameful´ GOP

Breitbart TV, by Pam Key

Friday on "Democracy Now," Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) attacked his "shameful" Republican colleagues for wanting to change the 2008 child trafficking law so that the children from from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador current streaming across the border in hopes of evading deportation will be treated the same as those from Mexico before approving the $3.7 billion in emergency funding the president has requested. The Illinois Democrat said, "I think it is shameful that in the Congress of the U.S. we see members of Congress engendering and creating fear of children. We should be protecting children, not creating fear of them." Yesterday,

Children do not, by virtue of being children, have immunity to criticism. If they are carrying diseases, they should be quarantined and treated. If they are miscreants, they should be separated from other good kids and punished. If they are "bad seeds", they should be jailed.

The Children do not have some magical quality that frees them of accountability, nor should they get a free pass.

Damn right I´m afraid of children who are little Typhoid Marys.

The narrative for democrats on immigration starts with stock cliches such as "a nation of immigrants and give us your tired your poor . . ." If conservatives deflect those talking points, democrats make ad hominem and racist attacks. It is a winning strategy because the public is stupid. democrats control the emotional high ground on every issue.

I´ve seen two of these horribly tattooed "children" promenading their much maligned skin in Walmart with their current female companions. (They promenade in outdoor plazas back home.) Aside from the fact that some are carrying tuberculosis, that some are gang members and that some will be used as sex slaves - the mere fact that they are children doesn´t give them a pass.

If I had dozens of children streaming into my neighborhood expecting to be taken care of, I would be afraid as well. What gives them the right to demand services from complete strangers?

Gutierrez, hmmmmm. Has he been to the boarder and seen these so called "children"?
I bet he hasn´t been there. Otherwise he would know that half of these so called kids are 12-18+ year old. Besides, how does he know? If he hasn´t been to the boarder and no pictures are allowed, and I am sure he doesn´t believe the reports from the boarder agents, who are there processing these people, that they are all children.

His sympathy for the children is a Democrat ploy they always use. Never mind that they are herded like animals, contained and removed from their families to afford Obama his good relationship with leaders south of our boarder. You see this case shows how greedy people wanting more power will use anyone and anything to further their agenda.

JERUSALEM—A Hamas force wearing Israeli army uniforms emerged from a tunnel inside Israel this morning and inflicted losses on Israeli troops before being wiped out. The Hamas squad numbered at least 10 fighters, Israeli sources said. Nine were killed but an Israeli officer said at least two may have escaped through the tunnel. In initial accounts, which gave conflicting narratives, the Hamas force was said to have emerged from a hidden tunnel on the Israeli side of the border only 200 yards from a kibbutz, and split into two groups. The Progressive mantra of “diversity is our strength” is one of the most honored catchphrases of the left. Like all slogans, it is a test to see if common folk are “gun-toting, Bible-clinging” Neanderthals or are they part of the enlightened, educated elites to whom the rest of us must surrender our individual beliefs, opinions, and thoughts. But as with all that the Progressives say, the meaning of the words being used is warped and misrepresented. For example, think about what Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz is saying in the following: Diversity on the bench is critical. As practitioners, you need judges who ´get it!´

But as it rebounds, Philly is becoming a different kind of city. In the two most recent decades, which comprise the bounce of the city’s population curve, owner-occupied housing dropped even more steeply than in the ’70s and ’80s. Between 2000 and
