U.S. is Obama´s ´battered

Hamilton Spectator (Ontario, Canada), by Mitch Potter

WASHINGTON The fever-swamp fantasy coursing through conservative America — that Barack Obama one day soon will be frog-marched out of office for "high crimes and misdemeanours" — is proving astonishingly resilient. Barely one day after House Majority Leader John Boehner moved to drown the deafening impeachment chatter, announcing instead a Republican plan to sue the president for executive overreach, the clamour returned Friday like an unwhacked mole. Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, showing once again that even if Washington doesn´t take her seriously, millions of others do, tore a strip off Boehner in a fresh missive for Fox News, decrying the

Plenty of tinder, but no spark to get obama impeached. Potential sparks include:

1) another devastating terrorist attack
2) waves of people dying from obamacare
3) TB or other plagues from illegals.

Keep up the drumbeat. If we get a spark, the LOFOs have to be ready to support impeachment.

I´d say "rotting donkey head", but still a good comment by James Woods.

The reason the Right advocate waiting is because they have no stomach for going after "The First Black President." The Left use this to their advantage knowing that their base of lo-info voters believe anything they´re told, as long as it denigrates the Right. Stop playing whack-a-mole and go on the offensive!

Some have quipped that America burns while Obama plays golf.

The truth is, America burns while the Right dithers.

Impeachment is just silly-talk, so long as there is not a 2/3 majority of conservatives in the Senate. That is not such a hard concept. Yes we might impeach, but conviction and removal from office is not happening. Get out and work for Conservative candidates for the Senate, elect them, and then get back to us.

#7 Y´know, I don´t see this issue of impeachment as being about "this unserious name," I see this as a Constitutional issue, and one of National priority at this point. Because while the Left pushes forward, like Sherman through Georgia, America is crumbling away.

Is everyone who advocates impeachment "unserious"?

As #8 says, impeachment is a constitutional issue for malfeasance in office. The likelihood that the senate will not convict is irrelevant. This will cut the sheep from the goats and lay it on the line just who is a true constitutional patriot among those who "represent(?) US in the 2016 election." Further it will slow the onslaught of malfeasance that this traitor will be wreaking on this country for the next two years.

With the myriad issues, any Congressman or Senator who would vote against it defines their lack of adherence to the the rule of law and the constitutional guidelines as laid out by our founding fathers.

This "fantasy" of ours is that we will somehow return to being a nation of laws, and that elected officials will be held accountable. We are tired of the little people being held to the letter of the law, with SWAT teams kicking down our doors for minor infractions; the EPA claiming jurisdiction over a ditch or pond on our land; the IRS harassing us; while certain groups and politicians claim that the laws do not apply to them.

He deserves to be impeached. However I learned - never give an order that you know will not be obeyed. So I think our focus should be on setting out how he should be impeached but we know he can’t be convicted because the senate, consisting of mostly Democrats, will not convict even if he openly tears the Constitution in half before TV cameras on the front lawn of the White House. Yes we should impeach, but we have learned that the Democrats will not do their sworn duty and so we will keep hammering away and do what we can to stop this truly bad person. And stop beating one and othe up on the matter. We are not the enemy – he and his are.

To fool the MORONS who will continue to fall for their lies, distractions and denials to fight back and try to TRICK the IDIOTS into believing their lies by trashing the person (Palin) in order that the IDIOTS won´t believe the truth she´s telling. Say.....didn´t the same kind of persons do this to Jesus for the same reasons? I mean, Jesus was exposing the Pharisees and removing their power and they didn´t like that. In a speech in Boston, First Lady Michelle Obama left behind talk of exercise and school lunches, exchanging it all for bald politics by claiming that under her husband the US economy is now better off "by almost every economic measure." The First Lady appeared at the Strand Theater Friday to stump for Martha Coakley´s campaign for Governor of Massachusetts. Coakley needs help badly, as even in blue, blue Massachusetts, the race between Democrat Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker is essentially a toss up. NEW YORK — As same-sex marriage cases cascade through the federal courts, Republican politicians find themselves awkwardly split into three camps. There´s a small but growing number who favor legalizing gay marriage, a hard-core faction that continues to denounce it, and a sizable group in between that seems to wish the issue would disappear. At one end of the spectrum, at least eight GOP members of Congress have endorsed same-sex marriage, and two openly gay GOP candidates for the House hope to join them. Note: Hate speech, not hate crimes. YouGov asked people about hate crimes for its poll too and found bipartisan support for the federal law that provides steeper penalties for crimes motivated by hatred of the victim’s race, religion, gender, or national origin. Sixty-four percent of Dems gave thumbs-up to that versus 54 percent of Republicans. A plurality of Republicans also support expanding that law to target hate crimes committed against gays: 44 percent say yes versus 30 percent who say no. It´s the sort of party-rejecting step that could position a reinvented Romney to become America´s first non-Democrat or Republican president since the 1800s. Scientists are to challenge the climate-change sceptics by vastly improving the speed with which they can prove links between a heatwave or other extreme weather event and man-made changes to the atmosphere. It typically takes about a year to determine whether human-induced global warming played a role in a drought, storm, torrential downpour or heatwave – and how big a role it played. This allows climate sceptics to dismiss any given extreme event as part of the “natural weather variation” in the immediate aftermath, while campaigners automatically blame it on global warming.
