GOP Establishment: Congress Should Give
"Blank Check" to Address Border Crisis

Breitbart Big Government, by Tony Lee

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 7/12/2014 6:04:01 PM

While liberal activists keep pushing Democrats to make more concessions regarding the flood of illegal immigrant children across the border, GOP consultants in D.C. are suggesting that Republicans roll over and approve President Barack Obama´s request for $3.7 billion without any concessions. And they are doing so to liberal outlets like the Huffington Post. Since only $400 million of those funds would actually go to strengthen border security, Republicans have been wary of giving the Obama administration a "blank check" without getting some concessions, like having National Guard troops on the border or changing a 2008 law that

Another hard hitting article from Mr Lee. The primary obstacle to the GOP in national elections is the CoC.

While we are on the topic of money where has all our foreign aid money gone? And just how much has the UN done to help out in Central America? When you look at the pictures of the people crossing the border into Texas and the consider the conditions they are running from it looks as though not a dime worth aid found its way to Central America. What is going on in the world of International aid?

The GOP cannot serve two masters. If it bows to the CofC in this, then it does not deserve to represent us. It does not deserve to win the Senate in NOvember.

The GOP leaders may be wringing their hands, not knowing what to do, but we know what to do in NOvember. If they do this, it will be their last betrayal of our interests. We will let the GOP join the Whigs in the dustbin of history. We will deal with the Democrats once that has been accomplished and they are out of our way.

Enough is enough.

We can send the National Guard, who is already getting a paycheck, to the border and let them spin them around to walk south back across that border for zip. Let Mexico deal with it.

Where is the push to get our American soldier back to the US ?

Tony Lee is one of the reasons that Breitbart is now viewed like the Weekly World News.
The original Huffington Post article that was linked by Lee bears little resemblance to his typical overwrought and hyberbolic interpretation of the original work.
Andrew Breitbart co founded Huffington Post and worked hard to be taken seriously
as an investigative journalist.
Lee obviously doesn´t share that same vision.

Oh sure, give Barry a blank check like you did for the No-stimulous. That got wasted on everything imaginable. So why not waste another $4B on the recent illegal hordes, then another $10B for the same thing, then another $50B for the same thing, followed by $500B when the border is never secured. Reagan got suckered by the demonrats saying they´ll secure the border once amnesty is provided. We all know how that turned out.

A fact that every politician and news talking-head in the world seems to be certain of is that you can’t win a war by air power alone. Even the media-hired retired generals throw it out as an absolute truth of warfare, as if it had fallen from the lips of Sun Tzu himself. Ask anyone, civilian, military, whatever, and he will quickly inform you of the truth of that unassailable rule of modern warfare. But when has any nation ever in history attempted to prevail in war by the singular use of airpower? “It has never happened because it just won’t

On Sunday night, Nigel Farage, the Chairman of the United Kingdom Independent Party (UKIP), said that the next time Republicans prop up a “continuity, establishment candidate” for President of the United Sates, they are not going to win. Appearing on Breitbart News Sunday, airing at 7-10 pm ET on Sirius XM Patriot Radio and speaking with Breitbart Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon, Farage said that unless you can “energize and engage, to use an old fashioned term, the blue collar voter, you are not going to beat the Democrats.”

Thirty-six seats are up for grabs in the Senate and all 435 seats in the House of Representatives will be contested. Of those 36 Senate seats, 15 are currently held by Republicans while 21 are held by Democrats. Clearly, the math is on the Republican side, as is the fact that the incumbent party typically loses seats in mid-term elections. This upcoming November 2014 election is crucial for America and voting for a third party candidate will not achieve the victory. To end the Obama “Rule by Decree” power grab, we have to wrest control of the Senate from the Democrats.

If our Congress wishes to fight its steady march into irrelevance it will have to actually go back to doing its job. Once upon a time, the first Article of the Constitution established all the powers that the Congress has and obligations that Congress must adhere to as they conduct their legislative business. Then, beginning in the 1930’s and 40’s, through the passage of the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), and other actions, Congress abdicated part of its legislative authority to an ever increasing number of federal departments and agencies.

Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops.
