Attack on Catholic Judges Breaches
the Bedrock Of U.S. Constitution

New York Sun, by Seth Lipsky

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 7/12/2014 5:44:21 PM

What is the most emphatic prohibition in the entire Constitution? Is it “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”? Or “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”? Or is it “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law”? Or “No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States”? Or “Excessive bail shall not be required”? Those are all famous limits on our government, for sure. But they are weak beer compared to the clause that says: “No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the

Comments:
Further down the column, Lipsky talks about the recent NY Times full page FFRF ad.

In the July 3 issue of the NY Archdiocese newspaper, Catholic New York, Cardinal Dolan writes: Here I simply want to welcome the grey, full-page ad, and thank the anonymous militiamen at FFRF for giving me yet another handout for my students when I give my next talk on “Anti-Catholic Bigotry in the United States.” It´s an excellent article. Google Thank you FFRF - you might want to read the entire article.

The author of this comment is a Jew and fervent Israel supporter. I suppose it´s important to stress this point before I state the following.

How would spitting, fuming liberal journalists react if a conservative somewhere pointed out that the core of liberal judges on the bench -- nay, nearly the entire liberal minority -- are all Jews? (Breyer, Kagan, Ginsberg.) Not too kindly, I suppose. They´d be right.

The current bigotry of the liberals has no place in America. Where, pray tell, are professional "anti-racists" like Fred Lynn and Morris Dees when this anti-Catholic bigotry is revealed?

Prior to 1930 no Christian denomination approved of birth control. Only then was there a non-binding decision by the worldwide Anglican communion to allow birth control in a few unusual situations. Look where that pin in the balloon has gotten us.
I personally have been hauled into court and admonished because I did not provided birth control to one of my daughters.
How low can we sink?

Without God in your life in a really meaningful way you are already at the bottom. And, as evidenced by our recent elections, I would dare say the majority even those who profess to be Christian who vote for Atheistic Marxist communists pretending to be something else are at or very close to their bottom.

An Ohio-based trade association, the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers (IAITAM), wants to know why the IRS’s IT Asset Managers have apparently “disappeared at a key juncture.” IAITAM administers internationally accepted certifications for information technology professionals, and according to their records “at least three IT Asset Managers…were working at the IRS prior to the 13 May 2013 Inspector General Report [that detailed the IRS abuse of conservative political groups].” However, IAITAM claims in a press release Monday that those workers “were shuffled out from those positions around the time of the report.” The group’s president, Dr. Barbara Rembiesa, urged

Charlie Crist Republican Richard DeNapoli has really stepped in it this time. The former Democrat and Broward County GOP boss lied to Broward Republican voters in 2010 when he stated in a letter that he had served in the United States Marine Corps. DeNapoli was running for Treasurer of the Broward GOP, and one night before the group’s monthly meeting, DeNapoli was confronted about lying about his military service. DeNapoli’s lie was spelled out on a candidacy letter he was distributing on all of the chairs that were already put out for the event. When asked about why he stated

Did the IRS intentionally lose e-mails to cover up potentially incriminating communications relating to the agency’s targeting controversy, or did the records go missing because of bad technology management? As for the latter question, few organizations are in a better position to make an assessment of the situation than the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers, which deals with these types of issues on a regular basis. The group, which runs the only worldwide certification program for IT asset managers, released six questions on Monday that it thinks lawmakers and federal investigators should ask about the missing e-mails of

Convinced that their region has suffered as much Obama administration meddling as it can possibly stand, Israel and Egypt took the extraordinary step earlier this week of jointly rejecting requests by US Secretary of State John Kerry to involve himself in ceasefire talks with the terrorist group Hamas. Israeli and Egyptian diplomats both claim Egyptian efforts to mediate a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas collapsed as a direct result of Secretary Kerry’s announcement he was prepared to join the talks. He apparently made the announcement without first consulting either of the parties. The diplomats are convinced that their own

Kerry, speaking on all the major talk shows, said the US backs Egypt’s proposal for an immediate ceasefire, which Hamas rejected last week. “Israel has every right in the world to defend itself, but we’re hopeful, very hopeful, that we can quickly try to find a way forward to put a ceasefire in place,” Kerry said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

At a political event in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday, President Obama devoted only 40 seconds to the shooting down of the Malaysian airline, his first statement to the world following the news. His emotionless reference to the attack as ‘a terrible tragedy’ seemed disconnected from the horrific moment, particularly as he immediately reverted to script to praise his administration and criticise Republicans. It was a far cry from President Reagan’s 1983 fierce denunciation of the Soviet shooting down of a Korean airliner as a ‘crime against humanity’. But it only confirmed the chaos into which US foreign policy has descended since the summer

A pernicious, little-known Obama administration policy – one that that incentivizes adult illegal immigrants to use children as human shields to escape arrest and deportation at the border – largely has escaped the media’s notice. This same policy is driving the historic surge of children at the border, as everyone from coyotes to illegal immigrant adults already in America seeks to use children to guarantee their safe passage into the country, or to protect them from deportation if they are illegally living here. The flood of illegal immigrant children, piling up like human debris on the US border, won’t stop
