Zogby Report Card: Obama´s supporters

Washington Examiner (DC), by Paul Bedard

Pollster John Zogby reports in our weekly White House report card that the troubles dogging President Obama and his inability to handle them have prompted even his most ardent supporters to give up. "Now some people have really bad weeks. Brazil´s President Dilma Rousseff got an ´F´ after the nation´s soccer team lost to Germany. And Nate Silver´s prediction of a Brazil victory at the World Cup turned to sulfuric acid. “But President Obama´s week was just as bad. Israel and the Palestinians are at war again. The president should have visited the U.S.-Mexican border where so many immigrant children

The hard left may conclude that Obama was the wrong standard bearer for the transformation to socialism but they will remain dedicated to the movement. I hope that a segment of society has learned the greater message that centralized power leads to a diminished state of the human condition. I would also hope that some loyal Republicans have learned that their party has lost it´s way and differentiation from the Democrat party. Hope springs eternal but best we brace ourselves for the next wave under the Hillary banner or whomever.

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee need to get out there and start emphasizing the adverse impact this will have on the minority community. They are beginning to get up in arms about this.

There is no better time than now to highlight how Obama is betraying his minority base for the benefit of illegal aliens who do not belong here. MS-13 Gand members will decimate their communities.

Rally the Dem base to the Republican side and he will be a champion among them. Clearly, Obama could care less.

Unless a way can be found to get rid of Obozo, we still have at least 2 1/2 years to put up with him. And as been said, there is no end of the amount of damage he can and probably do. Our biggest problem is that we, conservatives, don´t have enough people on the same page that we are on to do that which is necessary to rid ourselves of the cancer that has infected the nation. And I´ll keep on stating the what we need is another revolution. That´s the only thing I can think of that will cure the disease.

So what?

Most of his supporters are annoyed because BO has not given them enough free stuff. They expected free cars, free houses, and lots of money. BO hasn´t delivered. These dopes aren´t looking to support someone that can responsibly govern. They are looking for someone to actually deliver on the nutty, absurd promises that the dems make. Most dem politicians know those promises are lies but they help them to get elected. Then they say they cannot deliver because of the mean old Republicans.

Zogby Report Card: Obama´s supporters

Yeah, Gwirpstown Junior High had sliced carrots on their lunch menu last Tuesday. A squirrel was run over on a county road in Iowa on Friday. I took my 1964 D-18 to Charley´s Guitars today to get it set up and replace the bridge block. Their guitar tech should be finished with it in a week or so. Surely any one of those three events will do as much or more to send chills down the Magic Marxist´s spine resulting in him slowing down the Cloward-Piven-Alinsky choo-choo train he´s got the nation a-travelin´ on or even cause the GOP to grow a spine. For those of you in Rio Linda, the above is sarcasm. John Zogby´s poll numbers are totally meaningless because our communist tyrant will keep accelerating the nation toward Cloward-Piven Xanadu while the opposition party helps him do it regardless of what poll numbers do and no matter how many of Obama´s worshippers are "just giving up" on him.

I agree with #8. Sadly, the political climate in the country is approaching the revolutionary point - well beyond the Civil War level of animosity. At least that war was fought for a good purpose.

I just hope the people on our side have enough spine to take the country back from these cruel usurpers by legal means before a revolution is sparked.

FERGUSON, Mo. — Activists on Saturday called for mass civil disobedience on the highways in and around this St. Louis suburb to protest the killing of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer, with the leaders of one coalition encouraging supporters to stop their cars to tie up traffic on Labor Day. The announcement came at a peaceful if at times tense march and rally on Saturday that drew more than 1,000 demonstrators to some of the same Ferguson streets where the police clashed with protesters in the days after the killing of Michael Brown. To live in Tehran, writes British-Iranian journalist Ramita Navai in this collection of true stories, requires one essential skill: lying. “Morals don’t come into it,” Navai writes. “Lying in Tehran is about survival . . . when the truth is shared in Tehran, it is an act of extreme trust or absolute desperation.” “City of Lies” features eight sprawling tales (all names have been changed, as have certain details, and several characters are composites). Each focuses on an individual, but Navai uses these personal stories to observe how people live, love and survive in a society ruled by fundamentalists. Iranian youth

A Friday afternoon dispatch at the Politico from Carrie Budoff Brown and Jennifer Epstein tells us that "The White House is putting the finishing touches on a post-Labor Day schedule that will send the president to states where he’s still popular." The list of states where the Politico pair alleges that´s the case is quite short: "Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Illinois and California." That´s it. The childhood home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is for sale in Manhattan at $44 million. The recently renovated 1929 duplex retains its traditional architecture but has been updated with modern finishes and a contemporary look. Candela’s name is often associated with luxury buildings and coveted addresses. Onassis’ grandfather, James T. Lee, was the builder. Even the most ardent immigrant rights advocates are saying it: Reform legislation is dead this year — and for the foreseeable future. With that in mind, all eyes have shifted to the White House, where President Obama is weighing unilateral changes to his immigration policies in the face of congressional inaction. In March, the president asked the Department of Homeland Security to review its approach to deportations in search of blanket ways to conduct them "more humanely." With the results of that review – and Obama´s subsequent policy response – expected next month, both sides of the immigration debate are

Watching the events unfold in Ferguson, Missouri, I can’t help thinking about the Holocaust and post-war Germany. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

It will take two decades to rebuild the thousands of houses destroyed during Israel’s assault on Gaza, according to a recent NGO report. At least 17,000 homes were obliterated or severely damaged during the conflict, with thousands more needing substantial repairs, according to an assessment by Shelter Cluster. More than 2,100 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during the conflict. In addition 71 Israelis were killed – all but six of them soldiers. But the report on Gaza’s housing stock indicates inhabitants of the densely populated strip will face a severe infrastructural burden over the coming years.
