Mississippi Tea Party Candidate Claims
He Found Enough ´Questionable Votes´
To Make A Legal Challenge

Business Insider, by Brett LoGiurato

Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel, who is in the process of pursuing a legal challenge to his loss in the June 24 U.S. Senate Republican primary runoff, said Friday his campaign has found more "questionable votes" than the runoff´s margin of victory. In a statement released by his campaign, McDaniel said an examination of voting rolls in Mississippi found 8,300 "questionable votes." He didn´t release specific evidence or a county-by-county breakdown, as has the campaign of his challenger, U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran. The statement did not make clear what McDaniel meant by "questionable votes."

Comments:
"Questionable votes" have become ubiquitous in every election since our Founding, but never so much as the last few national elections.

Isn´t it amazing - - how these RINOs wage all-out war against conservatives - - but just roll over and wimp out when confronted by demonrats?

Reminds me a lot of the Romney campaign.

There has been a lot of criticism directed at McDaniel for doing this but isn´t this exactly what Al Franken did to win his senate seat? Didn´t like the result so he went out and found questionable ballots until he got the result overturned?

Did anyone in the MSM criticize Franken?

Hypocrisy will be our undoing. Rinos are really, really bad about it, too.

To further support McDaniel´s claim of "questionable votes" and other voting improprieties, the Republican Establishment has declared war on the organization suing to look into the matter to ensure the sanctity of our electoral process.

What are they afraid of? The correct person being nominated to their own parties ticket?

Does this seem like the actions of people who have nothing to hide?

Remember Mississippi!

When we lived in N´awlins, Mississippi was a beautiful part of America too. We bought a dear Bichon pup there that we loved for 19 years... and still do.

May righteousness prevail.

Exactly! I´m amazed at the number of people calling for Mcdaniel to "just accept the loss and better luck next time," even in the face of the obvious race-baiting, illegal voting and obfuscation by the GOP/Cochran party. If McDaniel was a Democrat making the same charges, the press would be all over it..cheering him on. One thing for sure, I don´t know just yet what I´m going to do in November. As important as it is for Mississippi to stay a red state, I can´t vote for Cochran after all that´s come down. That would be like rewarding him and the GOP power structure for their conniving ways. IMO, sometimes we just have to bite the bullet and do what´s right.
As a matter of fact, that´s what a whole bunch of us were trying to do by electing McDaniel in the first place. We knew it would hurt Mississippi, since we would lose a senior senator and federal funding would surely stop....as punishment if for no other reason. But it was the right thing to do!

They are afraid that McDaniel will find more than enough votes from people who voted in the Democrat primary and then some additional fraud such as GOP voters that had moved to other states but came back for this vote. Keep turning up the power on the searchlight.

From reading this he´s found "irregularities," but not necessarily the illegal crossover votes. He´s not being afforded the proper access to voting rolls needed to find all of the illegal crossover votes. This needs an impartial audit. Someone needs access to all the voter rolls to determine just how many voters voted in the Dem primary and the Republican runoff. It shouldn´t be hard to do and it would settle this disgusting affair as much as it can be settled.

I have no idea of the viability of whatever "questionable votes" Mr. McDaniel has turned up, but the Al Franken victory is a really bad example to hold up, #4 and #8.

The Franken race was finally decided by a suddenly discovered and suspicious ballot box from an Indian reservation. Similar to the way Landslide Lyndon won his first Senate race.

I´m pretty sure this isn´t the way Mr. McDaniel wants to prevail. If he is finding votes that were illegally cast, file the challenge ASAP.

Haley Barbour et all should stop and think a bit before taking on True the Vote and Catherine Englebreght. This is the lady who put up the $1mil reward for Lerner´s emails and just got the fed judge to put the IRS under oath to explain their obstruction. She also took on the unions in Wisconsin during the recall elections. Lois Lerner met her Waterloo. The GOP elite may have just bought a ticket to Waterloo as well.

Republicans in the House and Senate have voted thumbs down on President Obama´s request for $3.8 billion to deal with the crisis on our southern border. Most lawmakers think it´s too much money and not enough funds earmarked for border security. Washington Times: Even Texas Gov. Rick Perry, personally recruited by the president to persuade Republicans to support the measure, threw cold water on the idea. He said the president doesn’t need that much money and instead should send National Guard troops to secure the border.

Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America? Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care? I can remember several times when Obama just started to laugh in public at various disasters triggered by his policies. Happy laughter now seems to be the official White House reaction to domestic and international chaos and human suffering. You could call it leading with Obama’s big strength -- a great smile on TV -- while avoiding the worst of his weaknesses -- his inability to actually solve anything. About a year ago when painfully high black unemployment figures were mentioned, especially among young black men, Obama gave a happy smile in response. Then when “NATO” (i.e., the U.S.) started to bomb and overthrow the stabilizing regime

Many conservatives hate the idea of centralized education standards driven by a coalition of unaccountable bureaucrats and big business. K Street lobbyist and former GOP congressional aide John Feehery warns that this is a dangerous for the Right to walk, asking: What would happen if Big Business decided to change sides? What would happen if the Chamber of Commerce suddenly stopped being a huge fundraising machine for the Republican Party and started financing pro-business Democrats?
