The Democrats´ War on Children
American Thinker, by Lee Cary

Original Article

Central American children are pawns in the Democratic Party’s pursuit of political advantage through an open Southern border. Gilberto Ramos is just one of their most recent victims. The Guardian recently told Gilberto’s story: “Gilberto Ramos wanted to leave his chilly mountain village for the United States to earn money to treat his mother´s epilepsy. His mother begged him not to go. "The better treatment would have been if he stayed," Cipriana Juarez Diaz said in a tearful interview with the Associated Press on Tuesday. When he wouldn´t relent, she draped him with a white rosary for safe passage.

Mississippi Tea Party Candidate Claims
He Found Enough ´Questionable Votes´

Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel, who is in the process of pursuing a legal challenge to his loss in the June 24 U.S. Senate Republican primary runoff, said Friday his campaign has found more "questionable votes" than the runoff´s margin of victory. In a statement released by his campaign, McDaniel said an examination of voting rolls in Mississippi found 8,300 "questionable votes." He didn´t release specific evidence or a county-by-county breakdown, as has the campaign of his challenger, U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran. The statement did not make clear what McDaniel meant by "questionable votes."

The Israeli military said on Saturday that overnight it had struck a mosque in central Gaza that held a concealed weapons cache. The move was likely to fan Palestinian outrage during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. In Gaza, health officials said that the death toll from the Israeli airstrikes had reached 120, with hundreds more wounded. Many of those killed and wounded were said to be civilians, including women and children. Israel’s military said that over five days of fighting it had struck more than 1,160 targets in Gaza, including rocket launchers, weapon manufacturing and storage facilities and private

Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. He’s already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border. Is he kidding? Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America? Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care? It’s the working class and middle class who will take the hit.

I can remember several times when Obama just started to laugh in public at various disasters triggered by his policies. Happy laughter now seems to be the official White House reaction to domestic and international chaos and human suffering. You could call it leading with Obama’s big strength -- a great smile on TV -- while avoiding the worst of his weaknesses -- his inability to actually solve anything. About a year ago when painfully high black unemployment figures were mentioned, especially among young black men, Obama gave a happy smile in response. Then when “NATO” (i.e., the U.S.) started to bomb and overthrow the stabilizing regime

While President Barack Obama’s job approval rating was highest, by religion, among Muslims, other non-Christians, Jews (by faith), and atheists, his highest job disapproval ratings were among Christians -- Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, and other Christians. In the survey, conducted January-June 2014, Gallup asked about Obama’s job approval and disapproval, by religion. While 72% of Muslims and 54% of atheists expressed approval, only 44% of Catholics did, and only 37% of Protestant/Other Christian and 18% of Mormon/Latter-day Saints.

It was more of the same Friday for the residents of Tel Aviv, as two massive blasts caused by Iron Dome battery missiles intercepted Hamas’s long-range rockets, shaking the skies Friday night. The intercept marks the 10th and 11th rockets fired from Gaza toward Tel Aviv in the past 30 or so hours. In the rest of the country, over one hundred rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel Friday. Right before the Sabbath, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told reporters at an Army base in Tel Aviv that Operation Protective Edge would continue until Hamas stopped its terror attacks on

As the White House plans to spend billions of taxpayer funds to take care of illegal immigrant children who are unlawfully entering the country, some black Americans who live in some of the most dangerous neighborhoods are wondering where they and their children can get refugee status and aid. President Barack Obama treats the press like a spoiled child treats his parents. Despite the pampering, he just keeps complaining about them until he gets his way. As America tires of his inflated sense of self-importance while the economy limps and his foreign policy crumbles, Obama travels around the country complaining that the mean old media aren´t complimentary enough. At an event with big donors in May in Chicago, Obama lamented that he — the very essence of reason and nonpartisanship — is lumped in with a fanatical Congress in a tale of gridlocked Washington.

Secretary of State John Kerry, speaking in Panama Tuesday, said the tens of thousands of children flooding into the United States are a challenge not only for this country, but also for the Central American countries from which they are departing. "This is a very complicated issue, and it´s not a question of assigning blame. The only people to blame are the criminals who exploit young children," Kerry said. Kerry warned that the children "are at enormous risk for their lives" in making the journey, but he also said he understands why they are heading to the USA:

Sarah Palin wants to impeach Barack Obama. In an op-ed article published last week, the former Republican vice presidential nominee declared that the crisis on the southern border (where young illegal immigrants are being detained) "is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ´No, mas´." The Republican Speaker of the House, John Boehner, thinks that´s loco. (Technically, he said, "I disagree".) For Republicans hoping to avoid the kind of drama that might derail what looks to be a very good midterm election year, this kind of call is both a nuisance and a trend. This is his fundamental transformation of America ... President Obama´s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here ...
