Are Beck and Company Funding
Lawlessness in the Name of Jesus?

American Thinker, by Catharine Evans

Original Article

Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. He’s already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border. Is he kidding? Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America? Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care? It’s the working class and middle class who will take the hit.

Comments:
Beck should have read the part of the Bible that states that one must render unto Caesar (taxes) that which is Caesar´s. He also should have read the part where it says, "If a man shall not work, he shall not eat." Beck did not help himself except among highly theologically-liberal Churches and Obamaphiles. The rest of us Biblical Christians view charity differently: When the government is picking up the tab for illegal activity, using the money WE worked for, criminals of all ages should not be given stuff for breaking the law.

I´m so done with Beck. I stopped The Blaze and will no longer listen.
I and my fellow Americans are becoming enslaved as our resources are stolen by people who do not legally belong here.
I am sure he has strong walls and fences and security guards around his home, and a self sufficient ranch in Idaho that he can retreat to. Increasing Property taxes to support and build new schools are meaningless to him.
Retire now, Glen I can´t identify with you anymore.

What Beck is doing is off the chart stupid. What he is accomplishing is encouraging more people to enter our country illegally and make matters worse.

I hope that, through his charitable effort, his people are able to infiltrate and gather proof that O and company have orchestrated the invasion of exploited children and gang bangers. The only wall at the border is the one O has built to keep the truth hidden--thus no visits to the detention sites, no interviews, etc. If someone were able to get inside with teddy bears, maybe we can get some answers.

I agree with M2. I also want to know why billionaires don´t put their own money where their mouths are? They are so quick to tell us what we ought to do including the churches. Why should the church always be the go-to guy? I thought we had separation of church and state. That is what politicians always tell us until they need us to clean up their mess. Lets send the illegals to DC and put them in school with Obama´s girls. Nuff said...

If you are interested in helping the underprivileged, consider giving to Samaritan´s Purse. I am astounded at the number and variety of services they provide to needy people all over the world. The idea is that the recipients will learn how to be able to help themselves, not figure out how to become dependent clients with their hands out forever.

There is so many levels to the illegal immigration conspiracy that no one knows what all is taking place. Some of children are being warehoused, some are being processed and released with a document that says they are to appear in the distant future. Just last night it was reported that the notice to appear is being used instead of photo ID for air travel. Some of the illegals have sought refuge in the communities they have been released. 2 of the groups that provide temporary shelter for the homeless are being besieged. Glenn Beck, Mike Lee, and Louie Gohmert have decided to help those 2 emergency shelters by delivering a couple of truck loads of food and blankets. They all bitterly oppose what Obama has created but differentiate between private charity and government programs. I encourage all to find and listen to the explanation video released by Glenn Beck.

…"Beck thinks he and his progressive cronies will “handle” the situation at the border." Anyone who knows Beck even a little bit knows he is definitely not a progressive. Currently he sees the situation as a swarm of children caught in a political crossfire not of their making, and he wants to offer short term aid. He remains definitely against illegal immigration, but can not ignore the victims. Besides if you really want to find out what triggered this whole fiasco no one is better equipped to get to the truth and publicize it. All you’ll get from the MSM is a boring repetition of Democrat Party talking points.

How or why these people are here is not the concern - legality is a government issue and the government can´t even manage itself, let along thousands of "refugees."

But, these people are here and need assistance.

Having lived in one of the most dangerous third world H holes for nearly a decade, I can tell you that revolting without money and arms in such a place is impossible. What are they going to do throw rocks at the army?
Our Founding Fathers could do so because they had arms and treasure with which to do it (and the support of France). Washington was constantly plagued with trying to raise funds to keep and army in the field.
I am against admitting any of these into our country and moreover, I am for throwing those here out and barring the door. At this point in our history I am for only allowing those in who have and will contribute to the building of our country. However, I certainly understand the dire circumstances that drive these people here and I agree they have been used for political purposes. Feeding, clothing and medical care and sending them back while we bar the door is only humane.

1) During the Iran-Iraq war, Iran marched little children into the Iraqi minefields inn order to clear them. I see parallels with what Obama is doing with these Central American kids. [Remember calls for "Amnesty by August"?]

2) Like many of you here, I followed Beck from CNN, through Anita Dunn, Van Jones beloved of Valerie Jarrett), his close approach to unmasking George Soros, to the Lincoln Memorial. No more. Beck is dead to me.

What happened to the teddy bears and ping pong balls?

I admire Glenn´s heart, but deeply question his judgment.

I think we all are gritting our teeth over this situation and want to Do Something, it´s that level of continued frustration that can make one act without thinking things through.

There are people here that better understand the workings of the violence in that tri-area in Middle America and what should be done.

But we have people here that need help from violence in their neighborhoods, who need to find employment. This was a well-planned invasion and assault on American´s lands and hearts. We need to take care of our own before taking on another country´s problems.

And we need to turn this to our advantage by pointing out, constantly, to Blacks, Hispanics, all those who thought O was their savior - we need to say, Look - he does not care one thing about you or your families.

A small number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. will have an opportunity to join the military for the first time in decades under a new Department of Defense policy unveiled Thursday. The new rules will expand an existing program allowing recruiters to target foreign nationals with high-demand skills, mostly rare foreign language expertise or specialized health care training. For the first time, the program — known as Military Accessions in the National Interest, or MAVNI — will be open to immigrants without a proper visa if they came to the U.S. with their parents before age 16.

ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close.
