LIVINGSTON, IL – Homeland security, the US Customs and Border Patrol and other police agencies swarmed Livingston, Illinois. They all parked in the field of a grade school. The peacefulness of the town of 850 was broken by all the excitement. The law officers would not comment about their operation, even to the school superintendent and they were using the school district’s land. The site became an immediate attraction for citizens who say the officers were hospitable, inviting the kids to check out the choppers up close. A spokesman in the U.S. Attorney`s Office said he cannot confirm or deny

Isn´t this the town where the administration wanted to relocate the prisoners at Guantanamo? I believe there is an unused (hard to believe Chicago criminals can´t fill it up) prison in Illinois, but there you are.

I´m from the St. Louis area and thought I remembered a prison being built not far from St. Louis and not far from the airport ´built in the corn field.´ It sat empty for years and was the one Zippy was looking at to transfer Gitmo prisoners to. But it´s been awhile so maybe my remembering is fuzzy.

Barfi said that based on information from “sources on the ground,” “we believe that the so-called moderate rebels that people want our administration to support, one of them sold him probably for something between 25 and $50,000 to ISIS, and that was the reason that he was captured.”

For President Obama, the color of a man’s skin is far more important than the content of his character. Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory. The 2014 election is rapidly looking like something new
