Dems Trounce House GOP
in Grass-Roots Donations

Breitbart Big Government, by Mike Flynn

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 7/11/2014 4:32:48 PM

The DCCC, the campaign arm for Rep. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, has raised $22 million more than the House GOP for the fall elections. That result is surprising enough, as Democrats´ minority status gives them little political leverage in the House. More surprising, though, is that Democrats have raised almost three times as much money, $46 million v. $17 million, as Republicans from small-dollar grass roots donors. The political landscape and recent polling would suggest the opposite situation.

Interesting, looks like the "base" is paying attention to the "establishment".

As they continue to buy the "best government" money can buy. Apparently big business, big education, and big labor are worried and doubling down on what worked in the past.

Do we still have that law that says small donations do not need to be disclosed?? Barry used that to get all kinds of tiny donations that added up to millions in 2008. I seemed to remember something about small credit and debit card donations (siphoning??)...and of course foreign donations.

As for the fund raising numbers - when the RINO leadership makes it a priority to war upon the grass roots rather than battle the opposition, what else do you expect? At this rate the votes cast in November will mirror these numbers. No wonder 0bama is laughing these days.

We don´t trust the RNC anymore and never will. We donate to individuals, not groups.

It goes directly to candidates that I believe in.

While they are all Republicans, they are usually not Republicans that get any support from the RNC. So I´m not giving the RNC a penny to help the Demon-RATS destroy our country by running RINO after RINO!!!

House GOP leadership is beginning to crack on its position that it would not include any language intended to prohibit the President from expanding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) executive amnesty in a border bill package. Unable to find enough Republicans to pass the bill without the help of Democrats, who are lining up against the border bill, GOP leaders are considering allowing a separate vote on language to prevent a DACA expansion, a GOP leadership aide confirmed. The catch is that the second vote would take place only if the underlying bill first passed. It´s still unclear whether the

They are circulating a series of memos, including the one pasted below, detailing why the Boehner bill will fail to solve the problem. From the memo: The bill does not address the cause of the problem – the president’s unlawful policies, particularly DACA. The bill does not actually require the president to do anything – the only thing it guarantees is that the president will get the money he requested. The bill appropriates money through 2015, creating a built-in budget cliff

I am starting to understand how the people of France must have felt when they took to the streets under the shadow of the Champs Elysees in late August of 1944 to greet their allied liberators. It was a joyous occasion; young women tossing flowers, kissing the boys who fought for their liberation, signs proclaiming Vive De Gaulle as uncontrollable joy and exuberance washed over the euphoric crowd. But just beneath the celebratory cheer must have been a sense of dread and foreboding as memories of the dark tyranny of fascism that ground French freedom under the jackboot of their
