Dems Trounce House GOP
in Grass-Roots Donations

Breitbart Big Government, by Mike Flynn

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 7/11/2014 4:32:48 PM

The DCCC, the campaign arm for Rep. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, has raised $22 million more than the House GOP for the fall elections. That result is surprising enough, as Democrats´ minority status gives them little political leverage in the House. More surprising, though, is that Democrats have raised almost three times as much money, $46 million v. $17 million, as Republicans from small-dollar grass roots donors. The political landscape and recent polling would suggest the opposite situation.

Comments:
Interesting, looks like the "base" is paying attention to the "establishment".

As they continue to buy the "best government" money can buy. Apparently big business, big education, and big labor are worried and doubling down on what worked in the past.

Do we still have that law that says small donations do not need to be disclosed?? Barry used that to get all kinds of tiny donations that added up to millions in 2008. I seemed to remember something about small credit and debit card donations (siphoning??)...and of course foreign donations.

# 5 You have a point, however the magnitude of the difference indicates (to me) grass roots right donors are better informed then those on the left who are merely driven by a philosophy that has been debunked at every turn.

As for the fund raising numbers - when the RINO leadership makes it a priority to war upon the grass roots rather than battle the opposition, what else do you expect? At this rate the votes cast in November will mirror these numbers. No wonder 0bama is laughing these days.

Now do a survey to find out how much money grass roots republicans/conservatives have given to individual candidates.

We don´t trust the RNC anymore and never will. We donate to individuals, not groups.

My money hasn´t gone to the Republican Party in a long, long time.

It goes directly to candidates that I believe in.

While they are all Republicans, they are usually not Republicans that get any support from the RNC. So I´m not giving the RNC a penny to help the Demon-RATS destroy our country by running RINO after RINO!!!

Here’s a wacky idea. Let’s win the war against our jihadi enemies. Yeah, it’s certainly an outside the box idea. All we hear right now – in fact, all we’ve heard for decades – is about peace processes and negotiations and ceasefires. On and on they go, one after another, always crashing on the rocks of intransigence by people who hate our allies and who hate us. Maybe we need some fresh new ideas, some outside-the-box thinking. How about we and our allies destroy our enemies? After all, the best peace plan is victory. Wait, hear me out. You know,

Procedural changes impede the chamber’s traditional deliberative function Americans hold the Senate in low esteem, but the situation is even worse than most understand. The Senate is dysfunctional today because its current leadership has acted to destroy the institution itself. Job-approval ratings for Congress have been in the teens or single digits for more than three years. A poll last year found that Congress is less popular than head lice, root canals and traffic jams. The “good” news is that Congress is slightly more popular than playground bullies, telemarketers and North Korea.

The charter of Hamas, the controlling faction in the Gaza Strip, states, “[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement. For renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion[.]” Suddenly, the current conflict between Israel and the Hamas faction in the Gaza Strip comes into striking clarity. In evaluating the violence currently going on in Gaza, it is informative to understand not only how both sides operate, but how both sides define themselves and their purposes.

Because of the hostility toward (and ignorance about) business that permeates the Obama administration and the Far Left, they are overlooking an element that could have the effect of accelerating unemployment among low-skilled workers to exponential levels. That “joker in the deck” is automation. In their rush to increase the minimum wage and offer amnesty (or something like it) to an ever-increasing number of illegal immigrants, the administration and the Left are ignoring a reality that will compound the problems inherent in both goals. The recent increase in the federal minimum wage (and presumably the wage that federal contractors will be required

This bit of artistic license almost completely ruined it for me. Had the filmmakers done their homework they would have discovered that tiger sharks rarely navigate the Atlantic north of the 30th parallel—let alone north of the 40th parallel. Such inattention to detail unfortunately sullies science fiction’s reputation as more fiction than science. The Poseidon Adventure and Towering Inferno mated. Hamas has broken every cease-fire it ever said it would honor. Every single one.
