´Sleepy´ Obama going through the motions
American Thinker, by Rick Moran

Some remarkable - and frightening - photos of President Obama that show just how disengaged he´s become. As crisis at home and around the world mount, the president is withdrawing and making it plain to those willing to see that the presidency doesn´t interest him anymore. Peggy Noonan´s July 4 op-ed in the Wall Street Journal laid out the case for the president´s apparent ennui: In a truly stunning piece in early June, Politico´s Carrie Budoff Brown and Jennifer Epstein interviewed many around the president and reported a general feeling that events have left him—well, changed. He is "taking fuller

The powers that be in the Democratic Party need to confront him and seek his resignation if this is true. He was over his head from the start.

He is at least smoking pot. It was obvious in Colorado and possibly in his meeting with Governor Perry. The laughing and giggling gave him away.

Sarah Palin noticed it too and inferred that he had the munchies when he was in Colorado. The beer bar photo-op was interesting. He was seen smiling and turning down a toke on a joint from one of the patrons.

Obama´s not "sleepy", he´s on drugs, either cocaine or pot. Go back to the early 2009 60 Minute interview of Obama by Steve Kroft. Kroft had to ask Obama if he was alright because the president was laughing and giggling without any reason to do so. Watch Obama´s heavy eyelids, listen to his incredible use of "Ums, Ahs" before he is able to answer a question.

His use of drugs makes him appear drowsy and impairs his memory while creating a personality that ranges from disgusting self-pity to claims of unprecented (and invisible) successes in the next sentence. Obama has been an active drug user since he was 15, and he clearly hasn´t stopped over the past 5.5 years. If Obama wasn´t able to so effectively hide behind his "cool" racial identity so well, there would be constant calls for unannounced blood tests after he deplaned from AF1.

#6, I believe your analysis is correct. Speaking of urinalysis, Barky needs one!

Now, whenever I see him, I can faintly hear in the background a song by Cypress Hill:

Had to laugh at this ~ FTA "He is "taking FULLER advantage of the perquisites of office..." That seems to imply that previously he seldom or never did. We all know that was never the case; he is ALL for taking advantage of the tax payers. The FULLER the better.

Apologies. Should have written "urinalysis tests whenever Obama deplaned from AF1".

Or to paraphrase O. "He needs to get all wee weed up whenever he departs AF1".

As Obama would surely say to the always positive tests, "The Republicans made me inhale that dope. Wasn´t enough to just call me names."

Yep, classic symptoms of life-long drug use. We all know at least one burnout and it doesn´t take a perspicacious psychoanalyst to see that the prezzy is right up there. If the country lasts that long, members of his SS detail will have some interesting books to write.

The dems hid JFK´s drug and alcohol use for a long time. I guess they feel the need to extend the same courtesy to obama - even though he´s certainly no JFK.

CRANSTON, R.I.- Police say an armored truck overturned on a Rhode Island highway, spilling bags of money that quickly drew passers-by. Deputy Fire Chief Paul Valletta Jr. tells The Providence Journal that the Garda truck was southbound on Route 10 on Saturday afternoon when the driver lost control. The truck swerved off the highway and onto the grass and rolled onto its left side. Money stored in clear plastic bags and white canvas duffel bags flew out of the truck. As state police watched, money was transferred to a second Garda truck that was called in. Valletta says passers-by swarmed

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, plainly enjoying himself, galvanized the tea party crowd at the Americans for Prosperity summit in Dallas on Friday. He reminded political watchers that while he is not as smooth and erudite as some politicians, he can energize a room and vary his pace and volume — from fiery applause lines to quiet and sober narrative to mischievous barbs. His remarks, as prepared for delivery, on several topics were noteworthy. Playing in his home state, he played the Texas card, a preview of the campaign he is likely to run if he seeks the presidency in 2016:

An Islamic militant group said Sunday it has “secured” a U.S. Embassy compound in Libya’s capital city of Tripoli. American personnel evacuated the area roughly a month ago amid ongoing fighting in the country. An Associated Press journalist walked through the compound Sunday after the Dawn of Libya, an umbrella group for Islamist militias, invited onlookers inside. Windows at the compound had been broken, but it appeared most of the equipment there remained untouched. A commander for the Dawn of Libya group said his forces had entered and been in control of the compound since last week.

Two hundred years ago this month, 4,000 British soldiers lay siege to Washington, D.C., and set fire to the U.S. Capitol and the White House. It is, as far as we know, the best evidence the one time enemy´s forces were in our nation´s capital, said Allman. The

President Obama is reportedly mulling the possibility of delaying making changes to U.S. immigration policy until after the upcoming midterm elections, after Democrats in tough Senate races have argued that it could damage their chances in November. After Republicans in the House of Representatives voted down a version of immigration reform, Obama announced that he intended to act on his own before the end of summer in order to make what he said were urgent changes to

As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

It will take two decades to rebuild the thousands of houses destroyed during Israel’s assault on Gaza, according to a recent NGO report. At least 17,000 homes were obliterated or severely damaged during the conflict, with thousands more needing substantial repairs, according to an assessment by Shelter Cluster. More than 2,100 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during the conflict. In addition 71 Israelis were killed – all but six of them soldiers. But the report on Gaza’s housing stock indicates inhabitants of the densely populated strip will face a severe infrastructural burden over the coming years.
