Felon, Former Black Panther Party Leader
Hosts Fundraiser for Democratic
Senate Candidate Michelle Nunn

National Review Online, by Eliana Johnson

The suggested contribution amounts for entry to a Capitol Hill fundraiser held Tuesday evening for Democratic Senate candidate Michelle Nunn rose to $2,600 a head. The special guest advertised on the invitation was former Democratic senator Sam Nunn, the candidate’s father, who represented Georgia in Washington for over two decades. There was another guest, however, who probably turned more heads. Among the co-hosts of the of the event was Virtual Murrell, an early leader of the Black Panther Party during its militant phase and later a political consultant who, in the mid 1990s, spent time in jail for using his

Felons protect each other inside the walls, also for a fee. IMO, the only thing separating felon from most other Democrats is the prison door.

It is almost impossible to keep track of and count all the Marxist communists Americans who hate freedom loving in this administration and the population in general. It is amazing how many Americans think they would be better off under slavery of Marxist communism than be free to take care of themselves. We know why the wealthy progressives, PC, liberals, atheists, etc. think that way. It is that they all hate religion especially Christianity as it is the only religion that preaches individual responsibility and not collectivism over the slaves to government and them as the elite leadership.

Michelle Nunn certainly has friends in high places! /s off/

FTA: “Our campaign was unaware of Mr. Murrell’s criminal history and disagrees with his comments,”

So, is it common for the candidate to invite folks to appear with her - people they don´t even know? Or was Murrell there for the ... ah... ´decorative´ qualities he might bring?

So, she´s a "political legacy". That should be enough to disqualify her right there!

The GOP are fools if they don´t jump on this.

Well, we have posters here who claim they´re going to work for Nunn and vote for her, on the grounds that the two Republican candidates aren´t sufficiently conservative. I´m sure this won´t present a conflict for them.

Democratic candidate for Wisconsin governor Mary Burke took a two-year break from her career for a “snowboarding sabbatical” and a decade later expressed doubts that she ever wanted to have a full-time job again. Burke’s career has come under scrutiny after it was revealed that her résumé includes a two-year gap between positions at Trek Bicycle Corporation, which was founded by her father. After working in Europe for Trek overseeing operations in multiple countries, Burke decided she “needed some time off,” according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal. Explanations of what Burke was actually doing from July 1993 to September 1995 vary, largely

Right: it’s time to speak for Britain. If these polls are right, then we are on the verge of an utter catastrophe for this country. In just 10 days’ time we could all be walking around like zombies – on both sides of the Scottish border. I don’t just mean that we will be in a state of shock, though that will obviously be true: most people (especially the Scots) have yet to think through the horrific financial and constitutional implications of an English-Scottish divorce. I mean that we will be zombies, walking dead, because a fundamental part of our identity will

Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was due to report to federal prison on Monday to begin serving a 10-year sentence for corruption during the years when the city was struggling to recover from the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina. Nagin, a Democrat, was thrust into the national spotlight in 2005, when Katrina overwhelmed levees and flooded 80 percent of New Orleans, killing 1,500 people and causing some $80 billion in damage. He is due to serve his time at a federal prison in Texarkana, Texas, according to television station WDSU. Nagin, 58, plans to appeal his conviction. He has

As the world lurches from one crisis to another, one thing is reassuringly certain - President Obama will be playing golf and usually with his ´Secretary of Swing´, Marvin Nicholson. The two men have played golf together an astonishing 140 times over the past six years, drawing envious gazes from Washington politicos, who are desperate for any priceless ´face-time´ with the leader of the free world. Indeed, so close are they, that the president was comfortable enough to step away from the Situation Room to play cards with Nicholson during the now legendary Navy SEAL´s raid that killed Osama bin Laden in

Head Start, the federal preschool program for low-income kids, is a politician’s favorite. They regard the sum of the money poured into Head Start as the measurement of the depth of their concern “for the children.” No wonder it’s costing $8 billion a year. There’s no limit to the concern the right-minded have “for the children.” For all that money, we’re not getting much. This is the conclusion in a working paper by the National Bureau of Economic Research. The bureau is unable to find lasting benefits for the 900,000 children enrolled in the program. More than a third of the 2014 electorate is expected to cast ballots early this year, and they´re starting to do it very soon. And America’s immigration and entrance systems remain in shambles. Now is a good time to ask a question I first posed ten summers ago: Where is Adnan Shukrijumah? A decade later, the question is still unanswered. The FBI has yet to track down this homicidal plotter. Have you forgotten? Saudi-born Shukrijumah, billed as the “next Mohammed Atta,” has been a fugitive since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. His father, Gulshair, was a Wahhabi cleric funded by the Saudi government.

Republicans, they would have you believe, would take such a drastic action in retaliation over President Obama’s expected amnesty that would allow millions of undocumented aliens to stay in the United States without fear of deportation. To show their disapproval, the thinking goes, the Republicans would shut the government down in an act of petulance to retaliate against Obama and show their

Speaking at an event on business taxes at the Urban Institute in Washington, Lew placed the responsibility on Congress to address so-called tax inversions, but said that the administration was prepared to step in if lawmakers don´t move quickly enough. Inversions are tax maneuvers in which corporations buy firms in low-tax countries in order to place their headquarters in that country. Such deals have grown in number in recent months, with
