Obama: It’s Lonely Doing All The Work
Washington Free Beacon, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 7/11/2014 5:30:20 AM

[Video] Obama complained Thursday that he’s “lonely” doing all the work in Washington by himself, without Congress. “You know it is lonely, me just doing stuff. I’d love it if the Republicans did stuff too,” he said during his speech in Austin, Texas. “Sometimes I feel like saying to these guys: ‘I’m the guy doing my job. You must be the other guy’,” Obama remarked, quoting Mark Wahlberg’s character in “a great movie called ‘The Departed.’ A little violent for kids.”

Obama doesn´t give himself full credit. He actually is doing the work of three....Larry, Curly, and Moe. And as the saying goes, he is as sturdy as an ox...and twice as smart.

Occidental College, Columbia (where no one remembers Obama) and Harvard should carve "You know its lonely, me just doin stuff. I´d love it if the Republicans did stuff too." on the Obama statues that will be erected to honor their former student. Larger than life bronze statues would show Obama holding his favorite putter while surrounded by adoring illegal waifs from Honduras while AF1 waits in the background,

Or perhaps these former centers of learning could have photo montages of Obama´s hundreds of photo ops with the caption, "I don´t do photo ops" underneath. Would capture the essence of this truly evil person.

Success is not a result of someone working hard or being smart and ... if you started your own business, you didn´t build it yourself. (July 13, 2012)

As Eric Holder prepares to leave as attorney general, there is a fierce debate over his six-year tenure. Many conservative senators who voted to confirm him in 2009 now regret it. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the top Republican on the Judiciary Committee, now zings Holder’s “lack of respect for Congress, the American taxpayer, and the laws on the books.” Even some of his supporters agree he’s been confrontational and polarizing. Juan Williams of Fox News rails against anti-Holder “scandalmongers” but then admits “the Justice Department has devolved into the heart of Washington darkness, the absolute pit of modern political polarization

On ‘60 Minutes,’ the president faulted his spies for failing to predict the rise of ISIS. There’s one problem with that statement: The intelligence analysts did warn about the group. Nearly eight months ago, some of President Obama’s senior intelligence officials were already warning that ISIS was on the move. In the beginning of 2014, ISIS fighters had defeated Iraqi forces in Fallujah, leading much of the U.S. intelligence community to assess they would try to take more of Iraq. But in an interview that aired Sunday evening, the president told 60 Minutes that the rise of the group now proclaiming itself

To understand why revitalizing Detroit will be difficult, consider the response to the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department’s (DWSD) recent plan to make overdue customers pay their bills. The DWSD serves more than 4 million customers across the Detroit region. The suburbs mostly buy water from the DWSD wholesale, so it’s mainly city residents and businesses who get billed directly, and over half of them—about 90,000 customers—haven’t paid up. Total past-due bills add up to nearly $90 million, with the average delinquent residential customer owing $540, or more than 7 months’ worth of service, based on an average bill of

For President Obama, the color of a man’s skin is far more important than the content of his character. On the night when a police officer was shot in a Missouri town torn by racial strife, the president donned a shiny tuxedo to attend a ritzy black awards dinner, where he said police nationwide are to blame for community mistrust, even claiming that “most Americans” think the country is racist. Remember, when Ferguson exploded in racial rage in August, Mr. Obama chose not to curtail his 15-day vacation, spending day after day on the golf course in the white-skinned, white-wined, millionaire playground

“People say I’m a pretty good kid. Why, in a country as rich as America, should I have to go to bed hungry?” So goes the Feeding America campaign of “public-service announcements,” which since 2008 have proven more popular than all the other Ad Council “Don’t” campaigns (Don’t start forest fires, Don’t bully, Don’t eat paint.?.?.) combined. Media programmers, especially at ad-poor online streaming outlets, run the spots continuously. That’s partly because, paradoxically, they imply an upscale ad environment: The production values are Tiffany-grade; the spots feature A-list celebs like Matt Damon, Paula Deen and Beyoncé, etc. Plus, they deliver an emotional punch that

Last week was good for environmentalists, and perhaps even for the environment. President Obama doubled down on his effort to increase the likelihood of the success of the 2015 UN climate change conference in Paris, claiming the U.S. has “a special responsibility to lead. That’s what great nations do.” He took the occasion of the UN meetings in New York to put the heat on China, the world’s largest polluter, to match the steps the U.S. is taking to reduce its CO2 emissions. Washington -- As Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu defends her U.S. Senate seat in Louisiana, a new CNN/ORC International poll indicates the third-term incumbent carries a slim advantage over her closest GOP rival in the general election this November. But this is Louisiana, and the election system can be complicated. There are nine candidates -- Republicans, Democrats, and a Libertarian -- on the ballot this November, and if no candidate crosses the 50% threshold, the race moves into a December runoff between the top two contenders. Landrieu currently falls well below the 50% mark at 43% support among likely voters. Republican Rep. Bill

If you haven’t read his recent NRO article, “The Khorosan Group Does Not Exist,” you really should. It vivisects the presidential narrative of what’s happening in the Middle East. Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory. The 2014 election is rapidly looking like something new
