‘The bear is loose’: Is Obama
breaking free or running away?

Bears, beer and horse heads: What exactly is going on with the leader of the free world? On a single day this week in Denver, President Obama scarfed down pizza and drinks with strangers, shot pool with Colorado’s governor and shook hands with a guy on the street wearing a horse mask. His top staffers are promoting these stops on Twitter with the hashtag #TheBearIsLoose — a term one of Obama’s aides coined in 2008 when the candidate would defy his schedule. More than five years into his presidency, Obama is trying to free himself from the constraints of office,

Given what has been seen of the coward. It is believed he is running as fast as his skinny black legs can carry him, slowed only by all the poop he has on his tricycle wheels.

Transplantation? Is it Barry Soetoro or is it Barry Durham or is it really the ridiculous Barack Hussein Obama? Whatever, the man is stupid. As in dumb as a stone. I am very sure his IQ is maybe 80-90. So that begs the question. Who is running the show? I suspect there are 3,4 or maybe 5 people in "charge". And that means no one is in charge and this is what we get.

If he wants his freedom so badly,I have a suggestion:
He can resign now rather than later. But, I am sure Michelle won´t let him; they have a few more million dollar vacations to go on starting with the one in August.

He looks like a complete fool - giving himself silly nicknames and running around the country playing games. Then he has another staged photo-op just hours after decrying the practice.

There are four varieties of the creature we call "Democrat". They are:

The Foolish Fool
The Foolish Knave
The Knavish Fool
The Knavish Knave

Despite his all efforts to appear to be in the first three, Lightbringer´s behavior places him squarely in the fourth category.

This hilarious nugget from one of his paid liar/apologists, Alteredman: “In a world where it’s not yet clear what’s really important, and there’s no real consensus on what’s really important,” he said, “it’s hard for the president to calibrate exactly where to engage.” Yeah, national security, national sovereignty, foreign policy, the economy, citizen health and safety....yeah, there´s no consensus these are important.

I live on a small farm so we occasionally see a mouse in our home, which is then dispatched by our cats. Zippy reminds me of the mouse, scurrying anywhere and everywhere desperately trying to get away from the cat. The cat in this case is a combination of Mooch, his job and his long list of disasters.

Obama has been forced, unwillingly, to spend an inordinate concentrated amount of time with the hoi polloi (´ordinary Americans´ to use Bill Clinton and other self-regarding elitists´ phrase).

Unfortunately for him and his handlers, the people have seen more of him in a few days than they have for the previous few months combined.

His behavior, as well as his decision-making, is not just odd - it´s bizarre. And there is a quickly-growing school of thought that this president is on heavy psychotropic drugs. The constant, inappropriate smiling and nervous laughter are signs of potent doses of antidepressants which, whatever their medicinal properties, also make the user high.

Simply put, we have a madman in charge.

"Breaking free" and "running away" make sense, but I prefer the terms escape and avoidance. Mr. Obama appears to "solve problems" by avoiding them (voting "present" in Illinois, for example) or by escaping to neighborhood settings, where he shines and feels quite comfortable.

He would have made a great community leader had he remained in his element. Not so at the national and international level.

#2 and #6, could you have meant "Transformation?" I believe your post was trying to show how many times Barack/Barry has transformed his name throughout the years. He is one confused little fella.

I believe that his mother´s maiden name was Dunham not Durham. I have to admit, though, Barry is more like the movie minor-league baseball team Durham Bulls in Bull Durham than like a major league President.

Even though it´s two different sports, Barack can´t hold a candle to Ronald Reagan who portrayed the great Knute Rockne very convincingly.

The following statement is other-worldly:

Senior White House officials say they cannot tear up the president’s schedule every time a domestic or international crisis erupts,...

So the President´s photo op schedule takes precedence over domestic and international crises? Is that his priority? What does that say about his concern for Americans and American interests?

Never did a POTUS have such a skewed view of what it means to be an American, let alone an American President. Everything revolves around what he finds most appealing, least labor-intensive, and softer strokes for his ego.

If a domestic crisis such as our illegal border immigration situation, complete with the probable spread of diseases, isn´t worthy of a trip to personally scope it out, what is? A beer and tea photo op at a friendly local eatery?

If the crisis in Israel and Gaza isn´t worth more than the puerile "We urge caution" pap, what does POTUS actually focus on?

He seems to have a visceral aversion to anything that would, as Boehner noted, cause him to make hard decisions.
He is also averse to appearances where he could face tough questions that were not screened in advance.
He is averse to work and desperately tries to get the media to portray his goofing off as work by saying such things as "he´s been briefed" or some such crap. He hasn´t attended his daily briefings because they require thought and decisions.

The man isn´t a "bear" at all. He is a craven, slithering malingerer, afraid of anything that could shatter his glass ego.

Isn´t it about time people who would ordinarily make honorable decisions in their personal lives stop protecting this troll?

U.S. jets began airstrikes in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, Syria, early Tuesday, a U.S. official told CNN. It´s the first strikes against the terror group inside the country since President Barack Obama´s announcement this month that he was prepared to expand the American efforts beyond targets in Iraq. All foreign partners participating in the strikes with the United States are Arab countries, a senior U.S. military official told CNN. Those nations are Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Should we worry about mission creep? Only one week after President Obama said that he would not send combat troops to fight ISIS, Gen. As President Obama prepares to address the United Nations General Assembly this Wednesday, Americans are naturally wondering where this will all end. Some have raised the specter of Vietnam. The totalitarian impulse is all too familiar: since I represent Progress (and, of course, everyone who acts in the political realm fervently believes that he represents Progress) those who stand in my way are retrograde–evil, really–forces, that belong in the dustbin of history. Therefore, I might have to lock them up or kill them to ensure that Progress prevails. Until recently, the totalitarian impulse has been blessedly absent from American politics. Now, however, the American left has caught the totalitarian bug that infected Lenin, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Castro, and so many others. A case in point:

It didn't take long for the Islamic State to exploit the weaknesses in President Obama’s campaign against it. Last week the militants launched an offensive against a Kurdish-populated area of northern Syria — where Mr. Obama has yet to approve U.S. airstrikes or supply aid to local forces. By Monday, more than 130,000 people had fled across the border to Turkey, and local commanders said they desperately needed help to defend the strategic town of Kobane. Mr. Obama has been slow-walking the approval of a Pentagon campaign plan including airstrikes in Syria while seeking commitments from nations in the region.

The Secret Service commissioned a classified mock attack two decades ago that found an easy way to pierce the White House security zone: Overwhelm Secret Service officers on the compound with six to eight attackers climbing over the fence at the same time. That vulnerability remains, despite the creation of specially trained counterassault and surveillance teams recommended at the time, according to government officials who were briefed on the findings and requested anonymity to discuss sensitive information. Securing the White House grounds has been further complicated over the past two years by severe staffing shortages and high turnover rates in

In a midterm election year in which the political climate and map of battleground states clearly favors Republicans, many GOP candidates are nevertheless embracing some Democratic priorities in an effort to win over skeptical voters. The shift is evident in some of the most contentious Senate and gubernatorial races — in traditional swing states as well as decidedly conservative ones such as Alaska and Arkansas — where Republican nominees have endorsed increases to the minimum wage, legalizing medical marijuana or granting in-state college tuition to some illegal immigrants. President Obama is supporting the Secret Service in the wake of a deeply troubling incident in which a disturbed man jumped the White House fence, sprinted across the North Lawn, and actually entered the White House Friday evening. The man, 42 year-old Omar Gonzalez, had a folding knife in his pocket and had left 800 rounds of ammunition in his car not far from the White House. Gonzalez had also drawn the attention of authorities at least twice a few weeks ago — once in Virginia, when he was found with a sniper rifle, a sawed-off shotgun, and a map with

Last week, esteemed doctor and one of our ObamaCare Architect Overlords penned a column for the Atlantic that should win a Pulitzer Prize for passive-aggressive shaming. Although Emanuel claims that *he* doesn´t want to live past the age of 75, the article itself could have been a listicle titled, "Top 15 Reasons No One Over 75 Should Receive Healthcare." Emanuel even includes a monstrous but brightly colored graph that is meant to tell anyone over 75 that their "last contribution" to society likely occurred more than a decade ago. Good God. The phrase "the banality of evil" gets bandied about a

Note: Read the Hillary Clinton-Saul Alinsky Letters here. Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveal new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development. Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing. Clinton’s relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show. The letters obtained by the Free Beacon are part

It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

Lois Lerner says she is no Jeffrey Dahmer. The former Internal Revenue Service official referenced the infamous cannibalistic serial killer as she broke her silence for the first time about last year’s IRS scandal. Lerner told the website Politico that she has been the recipient of threats and hate mail, describing how one person called her “the worst person ever in the United States.” “I just thought, ‘Boy, worse than Jeffrey Dahmer?’” Lerner quipped. Lerner, who led the tax-exempt division of the IRS, was forced out of the agency after she found herself at the center of the scandal over the agency’s targeting of conservative groups

AUSTIN, Texas -- At an event today at the University of Texas Austin campus, Texas Governor Rick Perry reaffirmed his support of allowing illegal immigrant students to pay in-state tuition at Texas colleges and universities, while U.S. citizens from other states continue to pay higher out-of-state tuition rates. Perry made his remarks in a "One-on-One Conversation" with Texas Tribune CEO and Editor-in-Chief Evan Smith at the Texas Tribune Festival, an annual event organized by the online media outlet. Breitbart Texas made several queries to Governor Perry´s press office for comment, but as of press time,

Fraternities at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, must start accepting women and all residential fraternities must become fully co-educational over the next three years, the school’s Board of Trustees has ruled. The decision was made “with equality and inclusion in mind,” school President Michael Roth and Trustee Chairman Joshua Boger wrote in an email to students on Monday, Business Insider reported. “Our residential Greek organizations inspire loyalty, community and independence. That’s why all our students should be eligible to join them.” The school has focused on issues with Greek life ever since a woman filed a lawsuit against Wesleyan two years ago

During the Bush administration, national Democrat leaders threatened to kill the ABC network´s broadcast license if a miniseries unfavorable to the Clinton administration wasn´t censored to satisfy Democrats. ABC complied. Earlier this year, Democrats started a push for a Constitutional Amendment to gut (literally) the First Amendment. Over the weekend, Democrats launched a campaign to get -- in their own words -- "Rush Limbaugh off the air." The petition to get Limbaugh off the air comes straight from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in the form of a fundraising/petition email. The idea is to use the muscle of the
