Armed militia sets up Texas command

A militia has set up a command center south of San Antonio to prepare for what they say is a mission to protect the United States from the influx of illegal immigrants. The militia, operating via the website PatriotsInformationHotline.com, founded by Barbie Rogers, said members at the command center in Von Ormy will deploy to Laredo first and spread to other parts of the border, a local ABC affiliate reported. Chris Davis, the 37-year-old commander of the group, would not disclose how many members make up the militia, but said the troops would deploy “in a few weeks.” “We have patriots all across this country who are willing to sacrifice their

Good for them.

Now let´s start a pool as to how fast the Feds will find the resources to deploy to the area to stop these citizens from doing what the government should, and to protect the "children".

The government refuses to obey the law and enforce immigration statutes. I hope the militia does a good job, then arrests the government lawbreakers.

Inflation-adjusted federal tax revenues hit a record $2,469,178,000,000 for the first 10 months of fiscal year this July, but the federal government still ran a $460,450,000,000 deficit during that time, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement. Each month, the Treasury publishes the government’s “total receipts,” including all revenue from individual income taxes, corporate income taxes, social insurance and retirement taxes (including Social Security and Medicare taxes), unemployment insurance taxes, excise taxes, estate and gift taxes, customs duties, and “miscellaneous receipts.” In constant 2014 dollars, the $2,469,178,000,000 that the federal government collected from October through July in fiscal 2014 was $129,126,250,000

Rep. Diane Black (R., Tenn.) sent a letter to Health and Human Services (HHS) Wednesday warning that fraudulent Obamacare subsidies could cost taxpayers billions if the administration fails to remedy over 300,000 inconsistencies relating to applicants’ immigration status. Black, who sits on the House Ways and Means and Budget Committees, introduced legislation that would prohibit the payment of subsidies unless an applicant’s information is fully verified. The income verification system within Healthcare.gov, which is used to determine subsidies, has still not been completed. “The numerous delays by HHS and the inability to resolve inconsistencies within the 90-day window required in statute has

Voters are generally dissatisfied with how President Obama is handling the world’s hot spots -- most give him a thumbs-down for the job he is doing on Iraq, Israel and Ukraine. At the same time, they approve of U.S. airstrikes he’s ordered against ISIS militants in Iraq. That’s according to a new Fox News national poll released Wednesday. Click here for the poll results. Amid new cold war anxieties, most voters say Obama hasn’t been tough enough on Russia, and that Vladimir Putin doesn’t take Obama seriously. A 74-percent majority thinks Obama hasn’t been tough enough on Russia, up from 66 percent in March.

ABC reporter Jon Karl grilled deputy White House spokesman Eric Schultz about a new report showing how many executives who pursue corporate mergers overseas to avoid onerous U.S. tax laws — a move Obama has called “unpatriotic” — have donated millions to the Democratic Party and President Obama’s former campaigns. On Wednesday, Bloomberg reported that top Obama and Democratic donors — including an investment banker who hosted a fundraiser for the president, a co-chairman of the 2012 Democratic National Convention and a bundler who raised $200,000 for Obama’s reelection campaign — are all guilty of pursuing “corporate inversions,” which Obama

It’s official: Obamaism is dead. Hillary Clinton killed it. It wasn’t so much a mercy killing as an expedient one, but that’s politics in the best sense. The power of her argument is confirmed by a report that a testy Obama called it “horses–t” to congressional leaders. The president who spent years touting the withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iraq suddenly has had to distance himself from that action. Bush, for the absence of American troops in Iraq and rejected the assertion that he could have left a small peacekeeping force in the war-torn nation. While I certainly do not condone rioting, examining the conditions surrounding Brown’s death — and the deaths of several other unarmed black men killed by law enforcement recently — makes clear that community reactions like those in Ferguson, Mo., are bound to happen.
