Obama: US willing to
negotiate Israel cease-fire

Associated Press, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 7/10/2014 6:11:41 PM

Washington - President Barack Obama is telling Israel´s leader that the United States is willing to negotiate a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas. Obama spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, as Israel was intensifying an bombardment of the Gaza Strip in an attempt to thwart rocket fire targeting Israel. The White House says Obama condemned the rockets and said Israel has the right to self-defense. But Obama also urged both sides not to escalate the crisis and to restore calm. Obama also relayed concerns about a Palestinian-American teenager who was detained and apparently beaten by Israeli authorities.

Comments:
Once again, when it comes to the terrorist actions of Hamas that started this rightful Israeli response, 0bama chooses to talk with Israel to stop. This is one time he should send Kerry (who served in Vietnam) to Gaza City for a photo-op from the other side (or human shield) and tell Hamas to quit before the "Dogs of War" are unleashed again on them. (Notice: that 0bama is siding with Hamas).

Netanyahu won´t take his calls. Just like Putin. Obama has established himself as absolutely worthless.

It´s time for Hamas´ unconditional surrender.

Any talks about a cease fire should take place on or after 11 August, after the Israelis have had a good solid month to blast the Palestinians back to their beloved stone age!!!

The Israelis have nothing to gain by stopping now. If they stop, they will just have to keep dealing with this over and over again.

The Israelis need to just exterminate the Islamic terrorist once and for all.

Like I have said many times, short of committing mass suicide, the Israelis will never make the muslims happy. The muslims will continue to try to eradicate the Israelis, as they constantly claim is their goal. Enough is enough!!!

The last think Israel needs is "help" from this administration. I hope they understand that and I´m confident they do. The rest of the world only tries to stop the fighting when they see Israel winning. I don´t know why but that´s always been the case.

The New York Police Department still can’t explain how a group of five individuals were able to hoist two white flags atop the Brooklyn Bridge, which is supposed to be heavily monitored. Police haven’t identified any of the suspects responsible or any motive behind the mysterious white flags — which would typically signal a surrender or truce — flying high atop the New York City landmark. “We’re lucky they just put a flag up there — and not a bomb,” a law enforcement source told the New York Post. “It’s an embarrassment.” Surveillance footage showed five individuals crossing the bridge about 3 a.m. Tuesday. General Motors (GM) is recalling an additional 717,949 vehicles due to a range of issues, including loose bolts and potentially incomplete welding on some seat hooks. The carmaker has recalled nearly 29 million vehicles this year, most due to faulty ignition switches. The recall-related repairs are expected to cost GM $1.2bn (£700m). GM was criticised for reacting too late to the switch issue, but said it was "enhancing" its approach to safety. "We are bringing greater rigor and discipline to our analysis and decision making," Jeff Boyer, vice president global vehicle safety at GM, said in a statement.
