Senate Democrats Propose Law to
Force Christians to Pay for Abortion Drugs

Weekly Standard, by John McCormack

Original Article

On Wednesday, Senate Democrats introduced a bill that would force Christians and other conscientious objectors to pay for drugs and devices, including the "week-after" pill, that may kill human embryos. The new bill was drafted in response to Supreme Court´s ruling last week that Obamacare´s so-called contraceptive mandate as applied to family-owned religious businesses was a violation of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The Democrats´ legislation would strip away the religious freedom law´s protections for Americans who provide health benefits to their employees. The text of the bill states that an

So let´s see. You passed a law that nobody read, and when you found out what you wrote was unconstitutional, you want to write it again.

Idiots.

Yes, Obama is a corrupt, lying radical but . . . he has a loyal band of followers who have done/will do almost everything he desires . . . they all should be held accountable even though they hide behind the bushes when he comes to town to raise money for them!

It is obvious that this is not really about abortion and a few types of pills that are available to all women right now.
The democrats have declared WAR against religious freedom.
This issue, along with the gay marriage issue and banning the word Christmas, or Christmas trees or other displays, make it perfectly clear.
We are at WAR.

Muslims are against abortion. Will they be forced to pay for it too or do they get to opt out of it?

The Hobby Lobby case taught us one thing-- these people will not be happy PREVENTING pregnancy, but instead are bloodthirsty cretins who want to destroy life and shove it in the face of people of faith.

The only drugs or preventative methods the Christians at Hobby Lobby didn´t want to pay for were only those which actually aborted embryos. There were 16 out of 20 methods or drugs they didn´t fight.

Jonathan Martin reports for the New York Times that John Walsh, who is now running to keep the Montana Senate seat to which he was recently appointed, plagiarized a master´s thesis in 2007: [O]ne of the highest-profile credentials of Mr. Walsh’s 33-year military career appears to have been improperly attained. An examination of the final paper required for Mr. Walsh’s master’s degree from the United States Army War College indicates the senator appropriated at least a quarter of his thesis on American Middle East policy from other authors’ works, with no attribution. Just 11 years ago, there were 1.5 million Christians living in Iraq. Since the U.S. war there, that number has plummeted to approximately 400,000 — and it is still falling fast. The chaos created by the U.S. invasion, occupation, and withdrawal, as well as the ongoing Syrian civil war and insurgent-fueled unrest in much of Iraq, has dramatically increased the persecution and pressure on Iraq´s Christians and other religious minorities. ISIS, the emergent Islamist terrorist group that spans from Syria into Iraq, has already taken over Mosul, Iraq´s second-largest city. They painted signs on the walls of Christian homes, meant

The intelligence officials were cautious in their assessment, noting that while the Russians have been arming separatists in eastern Ukraine, the U.S. had no direct evidence that the missile used to shoot down the passenger jet came from Russia. The officials briefed reporters Tuesday under ground rules that their names not be used in discussing intelligence related to last week’s air disaster, which killed 298

Islamist militants in Iraq are reported to have seized an ancient monastery near Mosul and expelled the monks. Local residents said monks at the Mar Behnam monastery were allowed to take only the clothes they were wearing. The monastery, which dates from the 4th Century, is a major Christian landmark and a place of pilgrimage. Christians have fled Mosul after the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isis) told them to convert to Islam, pay a tax or face death. Isis has seized large parts of Syria and Iraq and said last month it was creating an Islamic caliphate.

The last Christians have left one of their holiest cities, running from ISIS demands to become Muslim or be slain—but as a final indignity, their money and even crucifixes were stolen. After being issued an ultimatum from ISIS in Mosul, some of the city’s last Christian families have fled, only to be robbed of their last possessions at ISIS checkpoints. Friday at noon was the deadline for Christian families to meet ISIS’s demands: Convert to Islam, pay an anachronistic Islamic tax for non-Muslims known as jizya, leave Mosul, or be killed. In a potentially crippling blow to Obamacare, a federal appeals court panel declared Tuesday that government subsidies worth billions of dollars that helped 4.7 million people buy insurance on HealthCare.gov are illegal. The 2-1 ruling said such subsidies can be granted only to people who bought insurance in an Obamacare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia—not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov. "Section 36B plainly makes subsidies available in the Exchanges established by states," wrote Senior Circuit Judge Raymond Randolph in his majority opinion, where he was joined by Judge Thomas Griffith. The shutoffs are “being done in a discriminatory fashion,” the NAACP’s Veronica Joice told a local CBS affiliate. “They should at least take a look at whether there’s a better way to do this that doesn’t affect the most vulnerable citizens

WASHINGTON —Polarization and partisanship are a plague on American politics. Political scientists have found that the two parties have each grown more ideologically homogeneous since the 1970s. The Senate hasn’t been so polarized since Reconstruction; the House has not been so divided since around 1900. As measured by laws passed, the current Congress is on track to be among the least productive in our republic’s history. How did this happen? One of the main causes has not gotten enough attention: the party primary system. The reasons behind the shocking primary defeat last month of Representative Eric Cantor of Virginia, who
